Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of pet products, in particular to novel cat litter with good deodorization performance and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Cats are well known to be one of the favourite animals in today's society and have begun to become pets in many households. In the process of feeding pet cats, the pollution problem caused by excrement of the pet cats is more remarkable. On one hand, the excrement is not beneficial to the cleanness and sanitation of families, on the other hand, the excrement has heavy odor due to the fact that uric acid contained in excrement and urine per se has heavy peculiar smell, and components such as urea in the urine are easily decomposed under the action of bacteria to generate ammonia, so that the excrement has heavy odor which can seriously pollute the indoor environment and influence the healthy life of people.
The pH range of cat urine is about 5.5 to 7.5, and the cat litter mainly comprises calcium oxalate, uric acid, ammonium urate, amorphous urate, sodium urate, calcium sulfate, heavy urate, hippurate and xanthine, which all cause the generation of odor after long-term use, and the cat litter in the prior art mainly solves the above problems by using the following three types, namely, the first physical adsorption type deodorant, which adsorbs and fixes odor by using the fine structure and the huge specific surface area of the physical adsorption type deodorant, and the deodorant generally used for adsorption comprises activated carbon, alum, alumina, diatomite and the like. Such as: a deodorant cat litter containing coffee residue and tea residue and its preparation method are CN201410726674.X. However, the deodorant can only be used as a temporary emergency measure, the adsorption capacity is greatly reduced along with the prolonging of time, and the adsorption deodorization effect is lost when the adsorption saturation is reached. Second, the microbial type, a deodorant of the microbial type, deodorizes by decomposing components such as skatole into other forms of non-odorous substances using microorganisms. Such as: a microbial deodorized cat litter and its preparation method CN201410711384.8 are provided. However, the living environment of the microorganism is harsh, and some beneficial bacteria cannot effectively live in the presence of strong acid, strong base or heavy metal ions, thereby limiting the wide application range of the microorganism. Third, a chemical deodorant type, which is a non-odorous substance that changes an odorous substance into other forms by means of oxidation-reduction reaction, acid-base neutralization reaction, ion exchange reaction, addition-condensation reaction, and the like. Or the chemical bactericide can prevent the cat urine from being converted into ammonia by bacteria by inhibiting or killing the bacteria, thereby achieving the purpose of reducing the odor. The urine of the cat is not so smelly just after it is discharged, but becomes very smelly because the bacteria convert uric acid into ammonia, so that the urine has a pungent ammonia odor.
Therefore, a new cat litter having a good deodorizing ability needs to be studied to solve the above problems.
