Detailed Description
To make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present disclosure more apparent, specific embodiments of the present disclosure are described below in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating the present disclosure, are given by way of illustration and explanation only, not limitation.
The existing eSIM card technology has no limitation on which region of the carrier a user signs a contract with, and which region of the eSIM card is downloaded. This means that as long as the internet is connected, the residents of country a can sign up with the operator of country B over the internet and download the eSIM card of the operator of country B over the internet. This is equivalent to the situation where the operator of country B can provide mobile communication services to the residents of country a without the permission of country a. This situation is a violation of law in some countries, and to solve this problem, the embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method of limiting the cross-country download of eSIM cards.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for limiting cross-country download of an eSIM card according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The method is applied to a mobile terminal, and as shown in fig. 1, the method comprises the following steps S1 to S3.
S1, obtaining APLMN (adaptive Public Land Mobile network) broadcasted by a mobile network base station, wherein the APLMN can capture a Public Land mobile network number and can also be called as an available mobile communication network number).
A PLMN (Public Land Mobile Network, public Land Mobile Network number, which may also be referred to as a Mobile communication Network number) is a number assigned to a Mobile communication operator by a government or its approved operator for identifying a Mobile communication Network operated by the Mobile communication operator, and can provide a Land Mobile service to the Public. The first three digits of the PLMN are country codes, representing which country the network belongs to. For example, the country code of china is 460, the PLMN of china mobile, the chinese operator, is 46000, and the PLMN of china unicom is 46001. The mobile network base station broadcasts the PLMN through the wireless interface, and the mobile terminal (e.g. a mobile phone) searches for a wireless signal when needing to connect to the network, so as to receive the PLMN broadcasted by the base station. The mobile terminal may search for a set of 1 or more PLMNs, referred to as an APLMN.
S2, after the eSIM card (namely the embedded Subscriber Identity identification card) is installed, obtaining the IMSI (International Mobile Subscriber Identity) of the eSIM card, and obtaining the country code of the eSIM card according to the IMSI.
The IMSI number adopts an E.212 format, has the total length of 16 digits and consists of three parts of MCC + MNC + MSIN. Wherein, MCC (Mobile Country Code) represents a Mobile Country Code (i.e. Country Code) including three digits, for example, 460 in china; the MNC (Mobile Network Code) represents a Mobile Network Code and includes two digits, for example, the MNC of china Mobile is 00, and the MNC of china unicom is 01; MSIN (Mobile Subscriber Identification Number) indicates a Mobile Subscriber identity for identifying a Mobile Subscriber in a Mobile communication network, MSIN = H0H1H2H3 (S) XXXXXX (11 bits total). As can be seen, the first three digits of the IMSI are the country code of the eSIM card.
S3, comparing the country code of the eSIM card with the country code in each PLMN in the APLMN, and deleting the installed eSIM card if the same country code is not found; and if the same country code is found, reserving the installed eSIM card.
In step S3, if the same country code is not found, the eSIM card is determined not to belong to the country where the user is currently located, and at this time, the installed eSIM card needs to be deleted, and the user is prompted that the installation fails.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, the country code of the eSIM card is compared with the country code in each PLMN in the APLMN, and the installed eSIM card is deleted without finding the same country code, so that the cross-country sales behavior of the eSIM card is limited, the illegal risk of the eSIM technology is avoided, and the healthy development of the eSIM technology is facilitated.
In one embodiment, before step S2, the method further comprises the following steps S4 and S5.
S4, acquiring a download certificate of the eSIM card from an operator;
and S5, downloading the eSIM card file from the eSIM server by using the download certificate and writing the eSIM card file to complete the installation of the eSIM card, and then executing the step S2.
In the embodiment of the disclosure, after the user and the operator complete the service subscription, the download certificate of the eSIM card can be obtained, and the download certificate of the eSIM card is sent to the mobile terminal by the operator through a method defined by the eSIM standard so as to start a process of downloading the eSIM card. And the mobile terminal downloads the eSIM card file from the eSIM server by using the download certificate and writes the eSIM card file in the mobile terminal, thereby completing the installation of the eSIM card. These steps are standard flows defined by the eSIM standard.
In one embodiment, after step S1, the method further comprises the following step S6.
And S6, judging whether the APLMN is empty or not, and if so, terminating downloading the eSIM card file.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, if the APLMN is empty, the country code comparison step (i.e., step S3) cannot be executed, and at this time, downloading of the eSIM card file needs to be terminated, and a user is prompted that downloading fails.
In one embodiment, prior to step S3, the method further comprises the following steps S7 and S8.
S7, pre-storing a country code list, wherein the country code list comprises a plurality of preset country codes;
s8, judging whether the country codes in each PLMN in the APLMN exist in a country code list, if the country codes in at least one PLMN exist in the country code list, executing a country code comparison step, namely executing step S3, and ending the process; and if the country codes in all PLMNs do not exist in the country code list, skipping the country code comparison step, namely skipping the step S3.
Since not all countries are restricted to subscribe to mobile communication services across countries, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, by presetting a country code list including a plurality of preset country codes (which can be increased or decreased according to actual needs), step S3 is executed only when at least one of the country codes of the PLMN broadcasted by the mobile network base station exists in the country code list, otherwise, the installation of the eSIM card can be ended.
It should be noted that the sequence of the above steps is only a specific example provided for illustrating the embodiment of the present disclosure, and the present disclosure does not limit the sequence of the above steps, and those skilled in the art can adjust the sequence as required in practical application.
The method for limiting the cross-country download of the eSIM card provided by the embodiment of the disclosure identifies the country of the mobile terminal by using the APLMN broadcast by the mobile network base station, identifies the country of the operator providing the eSIM card file by using the country code of the eSIM card, and deletes the eSIM card installed in the mobile terminal when the country of the mobile terminal is different from the country of the operator, thereby limiting the installation of the eSIM card in the mobile terminal.
Fig. 2 is a block diagram of a mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 2, the mobile terminal 20 includes: an eSIM client module 21, an eUICC (embedded Universal Integrated Circuit Card) 22, and a communication processor 23. Wherein, the eSIM client module can also be called as eSIM client software; the eUICC is a secure chip that stores eSIM cards.
The communication processor 23 is configured to obtain an APLMN broadcasted by a mobile network base station; the eUICC22 is configured to install eSIM cards; after the eSIM card is installed in the eUICC22 (i.e., after the eSIM card is successfully installed in the eUICC), the eSIM client module 21 is configured to read the IMSI of the eSIM card from the eUICC22, and obtain the country code of the eSIM card according to the IMSI, where the first three digits of the IMSI are the country code of the eSIM card; the eSIM client module 21 is further configured to read the APLMN from the communication processor 23, compare the country code of the eSIM card with the country code in each PLMN in the read APLMN, and if the same country code is not found, determine that the eSIM card does not belong to the country where the user is currently located, and send a deletion instruction to the eUICC22; the eUICC22 is also configured to, upon receiving the delete instruction, delete the eSIM card and prompt the user for an installation failure.
It should be noted that, because the eSIM card file is encrypted in the transmission process, only the eUICC can decrypt the eSIM card file, the eSIM client module can read the IMSI of the eSIM card from the eUICC after the eUICC completes the installation of the eSIM card.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the country code of the eSIM card is compared with the country code in each PLMN in the APLMN through the eSIM client module 21, and a deletion instruction is sent to the eUICC22 without finding the same country code, and the installed eSIM card is deleted by the eUICC22, so that the cross-country sales behavior of the eSIM card is limited, the risk of violation in the eSIM technology is avoided, and the healthy development of the eSIM technology is facilitated.
In one embodiment, the eSIM client module 21 is further configured to obtain download credentials of the eSIM card from the operator; downloading the eSIM card files from the eSIM server using the download credentials and sending the eSIM card files to the eUICC22; the eUICC22 is also configured to write eSIM card files to enable installation of the eSIM card.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, after the user and the operator complete the service subscription, the download certificate of the eSIM card can be obtained, and the download certificate of the eSIM card is sent to the eSIM client module 21 of the mobile terminal by the operator through a method defined by the eSIM standard, so as to start a process of downloading the eSIM card. The eSIM client module 21 connects to the eSIM server through a mobile network, downloads an eSIM card file from the eSIM server using the download ticket, and writes the eSIM card file to the eUICC22. These operations are standard flows defined by the eSIM standard.
In one embodiment, the eSIM client module 21 is further configured to determine whether the APLMN acquired by the communication processor 23 is empty, and if so, terminate downloading the eSIM card file.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the eSIM client module 21 reads the APLMN from the communication processor 23, and if the APLMN is null, the eSIM client module 21 cannot perform the country code comparison operation, and at this time, the operation of downloading the eSIM card file by the eSIM client module 21 needs to be terminated, and a user is prompted that the downloading fails.
In one embodiment, the eSIM client module 21 is further configured to pre-store a list of country codes, including a number of preset country codes; and, judge whether the country code in each PLMN in APLMN that the communication processor 23 obtains exists in the country code tabulation, if the country code in at least one PLMN exists in the country code tabulation, carry out the comparison operation of the country code; if no country code exists in the country code list in all PLMNs, the country code comparison operation is skipped.
Since not all countries are restricted to subscribe to mobile communication services across countries, in the embodiment of the present disclosure, a country code list is preset by the eSIM client module 21, where the country code list includes a plurality of preset country codes (which can be increased or decreased according to actual needs), and only when at least one of the country codes of the PLMN broadcasted by the mobile network base station exists in the country code list, the eSIM client module 21 performs a country code comparison operation, otherwise, the eUICC22 can end up installing the eSIM card.
The mobile terminal provided by the embodiment of the disclosure identifies the country in which the mobile terminal is located by using the APLMN broadcast by the mobile network base station, identifies the country in which the operator providing the eSIM card file belongs by using the country code of the eSIM card, and deletes the eSIM card installed in the mobile terminal when the country in which the mobile terminal is located is different from the country in which the operator belongs, thereby restricting the installation of the eSIM card in the mobile terminal.
Based on the same technical concept, the embodiment of the present disclosure correspondingly provides a computer device, as shown in fig. 3, the computer device 30 includes a memory 31 and a processor 32, a computer program is stored in the memory 31, and when the processor 32 runs the computer program stored in the memory 31, the processor 32 executes the above method for limiting the across-country download of the eSIM card.
Based on the same technical concept, embodiments of the present disclosure also provide a computer-readable storage medium having a computer program stored thereon, where when the computer program is executed by a processor, the processor executes the above method for limiting across-country download of an eSIM card.
To sum up, the method, the mobile terminal, the computer device, and the storage medium for restricting across-country download of an eSIM card according to the embodiments of the present disclosure expand a download flow of an existing standard eSIM card, add an inspection of a country code at the mobile terminal, and delete an installed eSIM card if the country code of the eSIM card is found not to match a current country of a user, thereby restricting across-country sales of the eSIM card, avoiding an illegal risk in an eSIM technology, and facilitating healthy development of the eSIM technology.
