With the rapid development of the internet, the types and the quantity of resources on the network are continuously enriched, and a network user can access live resources of an operator at a television end or other terminal equipment. Whether the television set-top box or the computer is used, as long as a related VLC multimedia player is installed and the multicast IP address and the port number of a live program are known, the live program can be applied for playing through a PON (passive optical network) gateway. From the operator's perspective, however, it is not desirable for end devices other than set-top boxes to play live video resources at the operator's head end, but rather for only television set-top box users (operator-customized set-top boxes) to have access to the live resources. Therefore, operators need a solution for controlling terminals to access live broadcast resources, which can limit terminal users who are not set top boxes and prevent the terminal users from directly playing the live broadcast resources at the front end.

Detailed Description
The following detailed description of embodiments of the invention refers to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating embodiments of the invention, are given by way of illustration and explanation only, not limitation.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for controlling a terminal to access a live resource according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, this embodiment provides a method for controlling a terminal to access a live broadcast resource, where the method is applied to a case where a network address is dynamically allocated to the terminal (that is, the terminal automatically acquires the network address), and the method includes:
s1) dividing the network address range dynamically assignable to the terminal into a first address pool and a second address pool, wherein the first address pool allows access to the live resources and the second address pool does not allow access to the live resources.
S2) recording the network Address allocated by the terminal in the process of dynamically allocating the network Address to the terminal, determining whether the network Address allocated by the terminal is in the first Address pool, if so, acquiring a Media Access Control Address (MAC Address, also called as a physical Address or a hardware Address for short) of the terminal, and generating a MAC Address list allowing Access to live resources.
Specifically, the type of the terminal is identified when the network address is dynamically allocated to the terminal, and the network address matched with the type of the terminal is dynamically allocated according to the type of the terminal. The types of the terminals comprise a first type and a second type, the network address in the first address pool is dynamically allocated to the terminal of the first type, and the network address in the second address pool is dynamically allocated to the terminal of the second type. For example, a television set-top box is defined as a first type of terminal, and a network address of a first address pool is correspondingly allocated, namely the television set-top box allows access to live broadcast resources; and defining non-set-top-box terminals such as computers, mobile phones and the like as terminals of a second type, and correspondingly allocating network addresses of a second address pool, namely the computers, the mobile phones and the like are not allowed to access live broadcast resources.
In this embodiment, the type of the terminal is identified by an Option 60 field of a DHCP message when a network address (i.e., an IP address) is dynamically allocated to the terminal. An Option field is defined in the DHCP protocol, the Option field is mainly used for expanding the DHCP protocol, Option 60(Vendor class identifier) is an Option field in the DHCP message, and code is 60, which can identify the terminal type and select a gateway under the interface according to different terminal types. In this way, different operators may add their own identity in this field for distinguishing between different terminals. In the process of dynamically allocating the network address to the terminal, the terminal first sends broadcast information requesting allocation of an IP address, where the broadcast information includes a MAC address of the terminal. The method comprises the steps that a terminal can also allocate lease time in the process of acquiring an IP address, when the lease time is allocated, the IP address allocated to the terminal is recorded, the IP address is compared with the range of a first address pool, if the IP address is in the range of the first address pool, the terminal is a set top box of an operator, the MAC address of the terminal is acquired and recorded, if a plurality of terminals (set top boxes) exist, the MAC addresses of all the terminals (set top boxes) are acquired, and an MAC address list is generated, namely the MAC address list allowing access to live broadcast resources.
S3), obtaining the MAC address of the current access terminal, judging whether the MAC address of the current access terminal is in the MAC address list, and determining whether the current access terminal is allowed to access the live broadcast resource according to the judgment result.
Specifically, a multicast message sent by a current access terminal is captured, an MAC address in the multicast message is extracted, and whether the MAC address of the current access terminal is in the MAC address list is determined by searching the extracted MAC address in the MAC address list. When the MAC address of the current access terminal is judged to be in the MAC address list, the multicast message sent by the current access terminal is forwarded, so that the current access terminal can successfully join a multicast group to apply for a live stream to watch; and when the MAC address of the current access terminal is judged not to be in the MAC address list, discarding the multicast message sent by the current access terminal, wherein the current access terminal cannot watch the live broadcast resource.
For the terminal equipment of the non-operator set-top box, if the terminal equipment is provided with the static IP address and the IP address is in the range of the first address pool, the terminal equipment can be limited to access the live broadcast resources. Because the method of the invention obtains the corresponding MAC address based on the dynamically allocated IP address, the MAC address list allowing to access the live broadcast resource is generated, namely only the MAC address of the terminal equipment which dynamically obtains the IP address can be stored in the MAC address list. Therefore, the method of the invention also avoids the possibility that the IP (impersonating an operator set top box) in the address pool which allows the access to the live broadcast resources is artificially and statically set to obtain the access to the live broadcast resources.
According to the embodiment of the invention, the MAC address of the terminal with the network address in the first address pool is acquired and recorded in the process of dynamically allocating the network address to the terminal, the MAC address list allowing the live broadcast resource to be accessed is generated, the MAC address of the current access terminal is compared with the MAC address list allowing the live broadcast resource to be accessed, the MAC address of the terminal equipment is fixed and unique, the MAC address is used as a judgment identifier to determine whether the live broadcast resource is allowed to be accessed, and the accuracy of access control is ensured. The method of the invention is applied to the live broadcast resource access control of operators to set-top box users and non-set-top box users, has small change to the existing network configuration, and simply and effectively realizes the limitation to the non-set-top box terminal users.
Fig. 2 is a block diagram of a system for controlling a terminal to access a live resource according to an embodiment of the present invention. The second judging unit is used for judging whether the MAC address of the current access terminal is in the MAC address list or not and determining whether the current access terminal is allowed to access the live broadcast resource or not according to the judgment result. Specifically, whether the MAC address of the current access terminal is in the MAC address list is judged by searching the extracted MAC address in the MAC address list; if the MAC address of the current access terminal is in the MAC address list, forwarding the multicast message sent by the current access terminal; and if the MAC address of the current access terminal is not in the MAC address list, discarding the multicast message sent by the current access terminal.

In this way, different operators may add their own identity in this field for distinguishing between different terminals.
