The present invention relates to a grouping technology, and more particularly, to an electronic device and a handwriting board system using the grouping technology.
Background
With the trend of the digital era, various types of files are stored in a digital form, so that the environment is protected, and the management is convenient. However, for more sensitive documents, such as legal documents, it is likely that the document will be signed with a paper book, and the paper book and the scanned file will be retained. Therefore, the handwriting board technology develops a stylus with ink and a touch panel cooperating therewith. Therefore, when a user writes, the written document is kept, the handwriting is recorded, and the digital file of the document is stored. Although this technique can reduce the tedious process of digitizing the document by the user, the handwriting pad can only provide writing of the handwriting, and cannot generate the connection between the handwriting and the paper book. In particular, if the user writes on a document already carrying other information, the handwriting cannot be associated with the document.

Detailed Description
FIG. 1 shows a system diagram of a tablet system in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 1, a tablet system 100 includes a tablet device 110 and an electronic device 120.
The handwriting board apparatus 110 is used for detecting handwriting, so as to generate a handwriting file according to the handwriting. In one embodiment of the present invention, the handwriting is the trace traveled by the stylus in tablet device 110. Specifically, the stylus pen has both digital writing and physical writing functions, that is, the stylus pen has ink to allow a user to write directly on paper, and when the user writes by placing paper on the tablet device 110, the tablet device 110 can detect the track and area of the stylus pen through the electrical change between the stylus pen and the tablet device 110. In an embodiment of the present invention, any stylus type, such as but not limited to an electromagnetic active stylus or a capacitive stylus, capable of interacting with tablet device 110 may be utilized in the present invention. Handwriting tablet apparatus 110 is, for example, but not limited to, handwriting tablet apparatus 110 that employs resistive pressure sensors, capacitive pressure sensors, inductive pressure sensors, thin film pressure sensors, etc., of Electro-Magnetic Resonance (EMR) technology.
The electronic device 120 is connected to the tablet device 110 to receive the handwriting file from the tablet device 110. In an embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device 120 has a communication unit 122 for communicating with the tablet device 110. For example, the communication units 122 may be connected by wires, such as physical optical fibers, telecommunication cables, and the like. Alternatively, the electronic device 120 and the tablet device 110 may be connected wirelessly, for example, through bluetooth, wiFi, communication network, etc., but the invention is not limited thereto. The communication unit may be implemented by any communication chip supporting wired and wireless communication, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
In an embodiment of the invention, the electronic device 120 further includes a storage unit 124 for storing at least one original file. The original file is a blank unwritten file of various types, such as but not limited to legal contract files, inventory lists, audit lists, and the like. The storage unit 124 is, for example, any form of fixed or removable Random Access Memory (RAM), read-Only Memory (ROM), flash Memory (flash Memory), hard Disk Drive (HDD), solid State Drive (SSD), or the like or combination thereof.
In an embodiment of the invention, the electronic device 120 further includes an image obtaining unit 126, so as to perform shooting and scanning on the file through the image obtaining unit 126, thereby obtaining the content of the file image. The image capturing unit 126 is, for example, a camera built in the electronic device 120, or an external camera or video camera electrically connected to the electronic device 120, but the invention is not limited thereto.
The electronic device 120 is further configured with a processing unit 128 to provide basic operations and functions. The processing Unit is, for example, but not limited to, a Central Processing Unit (CPU), a Micro Processor Unit (MPU), a Micro Control Unit (MCU), or the like.
In the embodiment of the invention, the electronic device 120 is, for example, a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a personal computer, a notebook computer, but the invention is not limited thereto. Any device having the above-described elements and functions can be applied to an electronic device.
FIG. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a file grouping method according to an embodiment of the invention. The document grouping method is at least applicable to handwriting pad system 100 of FIG. 1, although the invention is not limited thereto. The flow of the document grouping method operation will be described below simultaneously with the handwriting board system 100 of fig. 1.
In step S210, handwriting is detected by the tablet device 110 to generate at least one handwriting file. In detail, the tablet device 110 detects handwriting according to an electrical change of the stylus on the tablet device 110. And, the handwriting pad device 110 will store the detected handwriting as a handwriting file.
In step S220, a handwriting file is received by processing unit 128 from handwriting pad device 110. Also, in step S230, a document image is acquired by the processing unit 128. The document image is a digital image generated according to a paper file written by a user. For example, in the embodiment, the processing unit 128 captures a paper file through the image capturing unit 126 to generate a document image. However, in other embodiments of the present invention, the processing unit 128 may also be a USB socket, for example, which is used to input the document image into the electronic device through various types of input units. Alternatively, in another embodiment, the electronic device 120 may receive the document image through the communication unit 122. The invention is not limited thereto.
In step S240, the electronic device 120 identifies the content of the document image, and integrates the document image, the document handwriting file, and the document original file into a document grouping file according to the content of the document image. In detail, since the document image is a digital image generated according to the paper file written by the user, the document image will show an image corresponding to the handwriting and an image corresponding to the original file. In addition, the document original file and the handwriting file in the storage unit 124 have a document handwriting file and a document original file corresponding to the document image. In this regard, the processing unit 128 may perform image recognition on the document image to associate the document image, the document script file corresponding to the document image, and the document archive according to the content (e.g., handwriting, non-handwriting, or other feature points) of the document image, and further integrate into a document grouping file. That is, the document grouping file is an associated combination of the document image, the document handwriting file, and the document original file. Therefore, the document image, the document handwriting file and the document original file are not only stored simply, but the connection among the document image, the document handwriting file and the document original file is enhanced through the document grouping file, and the document management efficiency is further improved.
Note that the document image is not limited to being shot in complete alignment with the paper document. In an embodiment of the present invention, the document image may be a partial area of a paper document and corresponds to a portion of a handwriting file and a portion of an original file. The processing unit 128 can still perform the comparison and file grouping on the partial document images, the handwriting files and the original files by using the file grouping method of fig. 2, but the invention is not limited thereto.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of fig. 2, the timing of the communication connection between the tablet device 110 and the electronic device 120 is not limited. For example, handwriting pad device 110 and electronic device 120 may be all communicatively connected, i.e. handwriting pad device 110 and electronic device 120 are communicatively connected before step S210 is executed. Alternatively, handwriting pad device 110 and electronic device 120 may initiate a communication link in step S220.
Furthermore, in another embodiment of the present invention, the execution order of steps S220 and S230 may be exchanged. That is, the electronic device 120 may first acquire the document image and then communicate with the tablet device 110. In another embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device 120 automatically enables the communication unit 122 to connect to the tablet device 110 when the image capturing unit 126 captures the document image. Alternatively, the electronic device 120 supports the timing of the connections. That is, the invention is not limited thereto as long as the electronic device 120 can be connected to the tablet device 110 to receive the handwriting file. In particular, in the foregoing embodiments, different time points of the connection between the electronic device 120 and the tablet device 110 can be simultaneously supported by the electronic device 120, but the invention is not limited thereto.
In the following, it will be described with reference to fig. 3A to 5 how the electronic device 120 identifies the content of the document image to integrate the details of the document image, the document handwriting file and the document archive into a document grouping file according to the content of the document image in different embodiments.
Fig. 3A and 3B are schematic flow charts illustrating details of a file grouping method according to an embodiment of the invention. Referring to fig. 3A and fig. 3B, in this embodiment, the document image SS is an inventory and records the number, name, quantity, belonging unit, use status and user's signature written by the user.
In step S310, the processing unit 128 identifies the handwriting in the document image, and obtains a corresponding document handwriting file according to the handwriting. Specifically, since the position, strength, stroke order, force application manner and stroke shape of each person are different when writing, the processing unit 128 recognizes the handwriting in the document image according to the handwriting characteristics in the document image, so as to distinguish the handwriting image belonging to the handwriting in the document image. In an embodiment of the present invention, the handwriting characteristics are, for example, at least one of an ink path, an ink vector, a handwriting position, a handwriting distribution, a handwriting color, and a handwriting thickness.
Since the handwriting image is the result of the image analysis performed on the document image by the processing unit 128, in this embodiment, the processing unit 128 further compares the handwriting file according to the handwriting image to obtain the document handwriting file i of the corresponding document image SS. In addition, in the embodiment, since there is a possibility of an identification error when performing image identification on the handwriting, in the process of comparing the handwriting files according to the handwriting images, the processing unit 128 determines that the handwriting file is the document handwriting file i of the corresponding document image SS when the similarity between the handwriting image and the handwriting file is higher than a similarity threshold (for example, but not limited to, 80%).
Moreover, in order to improve the efficiency of handwriting recognition, in an embodiment of the present invention, the processing unit 128 can compare the handwriting file with the handwriting image by using single-region comparison, multi-region comparison (Partial Consistency), and full-region comparison (100% Consistency) to obtain a document handwriting file corresponding to the handwriting image. The single-region comparison is to compare a specific block in the handwriting file by using a specific block in the handwriting image. For example, the processing unit 128 may be configured to compare the handwriting file with the top left corner of the handwriting image, and determine that the handwriting file and the handwriting image correspond to each other if the handwriting file is consistent with the top left corner of the handwriting image or the similarity is higher than the similarity threshold. In particular, if the tablet system 100 is applied to manage records of a report, such as an inventory table, the processing unit 120 may be configured to identify the block to which the material number belongs. That is, if the similarity of the content of the corresponding material number block in the handwriting file and the handwriting image is higher than the similarity threshold, the processing unit 120 determines that the handwriting file corresponds to the handwriting image, and the handwriting file is a file handwriting file of the corresponding handwriting image.
Similarly, the multi-region comparison is to compare a plurality of specific blocks in the handwriting file with a plurality of specific blocks in the handwriting image. As described above, the processing unit 120 may be set to identify the block of the material number, the date, and the signature. That is, if the similarity of the contents of the blocks corresponding to the material number, the date and the signature in the handwriting file and the handwriting image is higher than the similarity threshold, the processing unit 120 determines that the handwriting file corresponds to the handwriting image, and the handwriting file is a file handwriting file of the corresponding handwriting image.
The whole area comparison is to compare all blocks in the handwriting file by using all blocks in the handwriting image. That is, the processing unit 120 determines that the handwriting file corresponds to the handwriting image only when the entire handwriting file is consistent with the entire handwriting image or the similarity of the entire handwriting file and the entire handwriting image is higher than the similarity threshold. In practical applications, a user or a development designer can adjust the comparison mode according to requirements, and further balance between the recognition accuracy and the recognition efficiency.
It should be noted that, in an embodiment of the present invention, the processing unit 128 may also assist in determining whether the handwriting file is the document handwriting file i of the corresponding document image SS through other information.
In detail, in an embodiment of the present invention, the document image and the handwriting file have corresponding file characteristics, respectively. In embodiments of the present invention, the file characteristics are, for example, at least one of a user name (i.e., the name of the person who created the file), a location of the file (e.g., GPS which acquired the file image, handwriting file via manual tagging or automatic recording), and a time of creation of the file. Therefore, the processing unit 128 can further compare the document image and the user name of the handwriting file, the file creating position and the file creating time to obtain the document handwriting file of the corresponding document image.
In step S320, the processing unit 128 compares the difference between the document handwriting file i and the document image SS to obtain a corresponding document original file e according to the difference. When the part of the document handwriting file i is deducted, the remaining part of the document image SS is the original unwritten document image. Therefore, the processing unit 128 compares the document original file with the original file to find the document original file e suitable for the document image.
Accordingly, the processing unit 128 identifies the document handwriting file i and the document archive e from the document image, and integrates the document image SS, the document handwriting file i and the document archive e into a document grouping file.
FIGS. 4A and 4B are schematic diagrams illustrating a detailed process of a file grouping method according to an embodiment of the invention. Referring to fig. 4A and 4B, the document image SS in fig. 4A and 4B is illustrated as an example, but the flow of processing the document image SS is slightly different.
In step S410, the processing unit 128 identifies content in the document image that does not belong to the handwriting to obtain a corresponding document original file e. Similar to step S310, the processing unit 128 has the capability of recognizing handwriting, and correspondingly, has the capability of recognizing non-handwriting content. Therefore, the processing unit 128 obtains the original document image by obtaining the content that does not belong to the handwriting or removing the content that belongs to the handwriting from the document image SS.
The processing unit 128 compares the original file with the original file according to the original file image, thereby obtaining the corresponding original file e of the document. Similarly to the foregoing, there is an opportunity for an error in recognition to occur in the process of recognizing and analyzing the document image SS and the original document image. Therefore, the processing unit 128 determines that the original file is the original file e of the corresponding document image SS when determining that the similarity between the original file and the original file is higher than the similarity threshold (for example, but not limited to, 80%).
It should be noted that in an embodiment of the present invention, if a plurality of original documents similar to the original document image are found, the processing unit 128 further determines which number of documents the electronic device 120 has printed recently, so as to screen possible original documents and increase the success rate of comparison.
In step S420, the processing unit 128 compares the difference between the document original file e and the document image SS according to the document original file e to obtain a corresponding document handwriting file i according to the difference. Similar to the above, when the original document file e is subtracted, the remaining part of the document image SS is the handwriting image corresponding to the handwriting. Therefore, the processing unit 128 compares the handwriting image and the handwriting file to find the handwriting file i suitable for the document image SS.
Accordingly, the processing unit 128 recognizes the document handwriting file i and the document original file e from the document image SS, and integrates the document image SS, the document handwriting file i and the document original file e into a document grouping file.
FIG. 5 is a flowchart illustrating details of a file grouping method according to an embodiment of the invention. Referring to fig. 5, in step S510, the processing unit 128 further receives a selection instruction to select the document handwriting file and the document original file. That is, in this embodiment, the user can directly select the files to be grouped through the electronic device 120.
In step S520, the processing unit 128 further integrates the handwriting file and the document file into a document file. Because the document image is a digital image generated according to the paper file written by the user, when the document handwriting file and the document original file of the user are integrated into the document file, the document file should be the same as the paper file and the document image written by the user.
In step S530, the electrical processing unit 128 determines whether the content of the document image is consistent with the document file according to the document file, so as to integrate the consistent document image, document handwriting file, and document archive into a document grouping file. Since the document file should be identical to the written paper file and the written document image, the electronic device 120 further compares the document file and the written document image to determine that the content of the document file is identical to the content of the written document image. If the two are consistent, it means that the document handwriting file and the document original file for combining the document file are corresponding to the document image. Accordingly, the electronic device 120 can integrate the consistent document image, document handwriting file, and document original file into a document grouping file.
It should be noted that the embodiments shown in fig. 3A to fig. 5 can also be implemented in the same tablet system 100 to provide users with files grouped in different ways, and the invention is not limited thereto.
Moreover, in an embodiment of the present invention, if the document handwriting file belongs to a handwriting file in a file group, and the file group has a plurality of handwriting files, the processing unit 128 integrates the document image, the document original file, and the file group into a document grouping file according to the document handwriting file.
In detail, in the context of an embodiment of the present invention, the user will continue to write the same document. For example, while performing an annual check, the user would continue writing on the same blank check sheet. At this time, the files written by the user are all corresponding to the same original file, but the tablet device 110 generates a plurality of handwriting files. In order to reduce the burden of the user to shoot the document image under such a circumstance, in an embodiment of the present invention, the processing unit 128 further determines whether the document handwriting file belongs to a file group after the document image, the document handwriting file and the document original file are integrated into the document grouping file.
The file group has handwriting files in a limited range, for example, the limited range is divided according to a period of time (e.g., a single day, a single hour, etc.), an interval between two files does not exceed a waiting threshold (e.g., 5 minutes, 1 hour, etc.), or the processing unit 128 may group the files logically or physically according to the operation location, the user name, etc. In one embodiment of the present invention, the processing unit 128 queries whether a handwriting file belongs to the same file group every time a user completes the handwriting file. In an embodiment of the present invention, the user can also manually add the handwriting files outside the limited range, and the processing unit 128 can further add the handwriting files in the limited range corresponding to the added handwriting file into the same file group.
In an embodiment of the invention, the file group is a plurality of handwriting files for the same file original file. The processing unit 128 may also compare the handwriting files with the handwriting images in a single-region comparison or multi-region comparison manner to identify whether the handwriting files and the handwriting images correspond to each other. After finding a handwriting file and a handwriting image corresponding to each other, the processing unit 128 further forms a file group according to other handwriting files in the limited range corresponding to the handwriting file. The processing unit 128 integrates the document image, the document source document, and the document group into a document group document. Specifically, the electronic device 120 confirms the document handwriting file corresponding to the handwriting image in a single-region comparison or multi-region comparison manner, and determines the order of the document handwriting file in the file group to be the fifth one. And combining each handwriting file in the file group with the original file of the file to generate a plurality of file files, and compiling the file files into file grouping files according to the sequence. Therefore, the times of acquiring the file images can be reduced, and the steps of the file grouping method are simplified. The single-region alignment or the multi-region alignment is described in detail above and will not be described herein.
For example, the user has written one hour in succession, thus generating ten handwriting files. The processing unit 128 determines that the document handwriting file of the matching handwriting image is the seventh of the ten handwriting files by single-region or multi-region comparison. Therefore, the processing unit 128 combines the first handwriting file and the file original file, the second handwriting file and the file original file … through the tenth handwriting file and the file original file in sequence according to the sequence of the handwriting files and the file original file to generate corresponding file files. The processing unit 128 then correlates the handwriting file with the corresponding document file to generate a document grouping file. Therefore, the user does not need to shoot each written file, so that the complicated operation of the user is avoided, and the efficiency of file marshalling is effectively improved.
In addition, in an embodiment of the invention, the file group is a plurality of handwriting files for a plurality of pages of a document original file, such as legal contracts. At this time, similar to the above, the user can also shoot one of the pages of the document, and the processing unit 128 confirms the document handwriting file corresponding to the handwriting image in a single-region comparison or multi-region comparison manner, and determines that the document handwriting file belongs to the sequence (i.e., the first one) in the limited range. For example, the document file selected by the user has three pages, and the processing unit 128 receives three handwriting files. The user can shoot one page of the handwriting and generate a corresponding handwriting image after processing. Accordingly, the processing unit 128 matches the handwriting image and the three handwriting files by single-area comparison or multi-area comparison to determine which sequence of the document handwriting files corresponding to the handwriting image is, for example, the third one. Therefore, the processing unit 128 combines the first handwriting file and the first page of the document file, the second handwriting file and the second page of the document file in sequence according to the sequence of the document handwriting files and the document file to generate corresponding document files. Moreover, the processing unit 128 integrates the handwriting file and the corresponding document file to generate a document grouping file. Therefore, the user does not need to shoot each written document in the multi-page mode, so that the complex operation of the user is avoided, and the efficiency of document grouping is effectively improved.
It should be noted that, in an embodiment of the present invention, when the handwriting pad device 110 receives a plurality of handwriting, it can distinguish whether the handwriting belongs to the same handwriting file according to the writing time, the paging instruction, or whether the position of the handwriting corresponds to the file completion position. For example, if the tablet device 110 determines that a plurality of handwriting are detected in the same time interval (e.g., but not limited to, within 5 minutes), it is determined that the plurality of handwriting belong to the same handwriting file. Alternatively, the tablet device 110 determines that the interval time between two writings is less than a specified time interval (for example, but not limited to, within 1 minute), and the two writings belong to the same handwriting file. Alternatively, if the tablet device 110 receives a page-dividing command (e.g., a file-completing command, a page-changing command, etc.), it is determined to open a new handwriting file according to the page-dividing command. Alternatively, if the handwriting board apparatus 110 determines that the position of the handwriting corresponds to the document completing position (for example, the handwriting is located at the position corresponding to the signature field), it determines that the document is completed, and opens a new handwriting file. However, the present invention is not limited thereto.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the processing unit 128 further saves only the document image and the document file integrated by the document track file and the document source file after the grouping file exists for a long time (e.g., 1 year), thereby saving the storage space of the electronic device 120.
In summary, the electronic device and the handwriting board system of the present invention automatically identify the corresponding document handwriting file and document archive by acquiring the document image and identifying the document image, so that the document image, the document handwriting file and the document archive are not only simply stored but the document grouping file enhances the connectivity among the document image, the document handwriting file and the document archive when storing the digitized document, thereby improving the efficiency of document management.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the above embodiments, it should be understood that various changes and modifications can be made therein by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
