Specifically, the wearable device comprises a wrist-lifting detection device for detecting whether a user performs a wrist-lifting action to determine whether the user needs to start the wearable device, and when receiving wrist-lifting notification information sent by the wrist-lifting detection device, the wrist-lifting notification information can be regarded as start information to start the wearable device. Further, the wrist-lifting detection device is an acceleration sensor and/or a gyroscope sensor. It should be noted that, a person skilled in the art may also determine the type of the startup information according to an actual application situation, for example, the startup information may be a received voice instruction for starting the device, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
In a specific implementation, the object coverage detection command may be sent to an optical sensor in the wearable device after receiving the activation information. And after receiving the object covering detection command, the optical sensor detects and feeds back a detection result. And judging whether the display area of the wearable device is covered according to the detection result.
FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of the distribution of optical sensors on a wearable device according to an embodiment of the present invention; as shown in fig. 2, there are 6 optical sensors in total, distributed in a ring-like manner at the edge of the display area of the wearable device. When the optical sensors 1, 2, and 3 are covered and the optical sensors 4, 5, and 6 are exposed to the outside, the light intensities sensed by the 6 optical sensors are different from each other, and when the optical sensors 1, 2, and 3 are illuminated with weak light, the optical sensors 4, 5, and 6 are illuminated with strong light. According to the detection results of the optical sensors, whether different areas of the wearable device are covered or not can be determined.

Further, both text and image forms can be used for simultaneous display. Therefore, different display forms are provided for users, and the use requirements of the users are better met.
In an embodiment, the displaying the content of the display area in the uncovered area according to a text display mode and/or a graphic display mode specifically includes:
and sending the content of the display area and the area information to an image processor, wherein the image processor processes the content of the display area and then displays the processed content of the display area in the uncovered area.
In particular, the image processor may be used to render display content and drive the display device for display. When the display area is judged to be not fully covered, the content of the display area and the area information can be sent to the image processor, so that the image processor controls the display equipment to display the content of the display area in the uncovered area of the wearable equipment.
