The electronic device in the embodiment of the invention can be a terminal device. The terminal device may be a mobile terminal device or a non-mobile terminal device, for example. The mobile terminal device may be a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a notebook computer, a palm computer, a vehicle-mounted terminal device, a wearable device, an ultra-mobile personal computer (ultra-mobile personal computer, UMPC), a netbook or a personal digital assistant (personal digital assistant, PDA), etc.; the non-mobile terminal device may be a personal computer (personal computer, PC), a Television (TV), a teller machine, a self-service machine, or the like; the embodiment of the present invention is not particularly limited.
It should be noted that, the display screen of the electronic device in the embodiment of the present invention may be a special-shaped screen, and the special-shaped screen may include two kinds of hole digging screens and runway screens. The special-shaped screens are all provided with holes on the display screen, wherein the holes in the hole digging screen can contain a single electronic device, and the holes in the runway screen can contain a plurality of electronic devices.
Typically, the electronic device may place a camera, a flash, etc. at the opening. Illustratively, the openings in the shaped screen may be located at any position of the display screen (e.g., above, below, upper left, lower left, upper right, lower right, etc. of the display screen). Typically, the display screen includes: display module assembly, touch-sensitive screen and glass apron, trompil is usually in the display module assembly trompil on the display screen, after devices such as this trompil position installation camera, flash lamp, cover touch-sensitive screen and glass apron on the display module assembly after drilling to hide the device of placing in the trompil, and then reach the effect of protecting the device in the trompil.
For example, as shown in fig. 1, an opening (i.e., 12 in fig. 1) in a screen (i.e., 11 in fig. 1) is located at the upper right side of the screen 11, and a front camera (i.e., 13 in fig. 1) and a flash (i.e., 14 in fig. 1) are disposed in the opening 12.
The electronic device in the embodiment of the invention can be an electronic device with an operating system. The operating system may be an Android operating system, an ios operating system, or other possible operating systems, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited specifically.
The software environment to which the display method provided by the embodiment of the invention is applied is described below by taking an android operating system as an example.
Fig. 2 is a schematic diagram of an architecture of a possible android operating system according to an embodiment of the present invention. In fig. 2, the architecture of the android operating system includes 4 layers, respectively: an application program layer, an application program framework layer, a system runtime layer and a kernel layer (specifically, a Linux kernel layer).
The application program layer comprises various application programs (including system application programs and third party application programs) in the android operating system.
The application framework layer is a framework of applications, and developers can develop some applications based on the application framework layer while adhering to the development principle of the framework of the applications.
The system runtime layer includes libraries (also referred to as system libraries) and android operating system runtime environments. The library mainly provides various resources required by the android operating system. The android operating system running environment is used for providing a software environment for the android operating system.
The kernel layer is an operating system layer of the android operating system, and belongs to the bottommost layer of the software hierarchy of the android operating system. The kernel layer provides core system services and a driver related to hardware for the android operating system based on a Linux kernel.
Taking an android operating system as an example, in the embodiment of the present invention, a developer may develop a software program for implementing the display method provided in the embodiment of the present invention based on the system architecture of the android operating system shown in fig. 2, so that the display method may be operated based on the android operating system shown in fig. 2. Namely, the processor or the terminal device can realize the display method provided by the embodiment of the invention by running the software program in the android operating system.
The display method provided by the embodiment of the invention can be applied to the scene that the electronic equipment comprising the special-shaped screen displays the application program icons in the status bar.
For the scene that the electronic device displays the unread message identifier in the status bar, it is assumed that the application program B in the special-shaped screen electronic device a receives the unread message 1. In a conventional electronic device, the unread message 1 may be displayed in the form of an icon of the application B in a status bar of the display screen to prompt the user that the unread message is included in the application B. However, since the hole-digging area in the shaped-screen electronic device generally occupies a part of the space of the status bar, and the area of the status bar is reduced, the shaped-screen electronic device a generally preferentially displays status information (such as battery information, communication signal information, etc.) in the status bar, and no icon of the application program B corresponding to the unread message 1 is displayed. Therefore, the user cannot timely acquire the prompt information of the electronic device about the unread message 1 received by the application program B, the user is easy to miss to check or timely reply to the unread message 1, and the working efficiency is reduced.
In the embodiment of the invention, the electronic equipment is covered with the touch screen on the hole digging area, so the hole digging area also has a touch control function. Therefore, the hole digging area can be used for secondary use while the electronic equipment is placed, so that a user is helped to trigger the electronic equipment to update and display the application program icons corresponding to the unread messages in the status bar. From the above, the electronic device can update the status information displayed in the status bar to the icon of the application program B corresponding to the unread message 1 by receiving the input of the user to the hole digging area, so as to prompt the user that the unread message is received by the application program B, and further, the user views the unread message in the application program B according to the needs of the user, thereby improving the working efficiency.
The display method provided by the embodiment of the invention will be described below by taking the display device as an electronic device as an example.
As shown in fig. 3, a display method provided in an embodiment of the present invention includes steps 201 and 202:
step 201: the electronic device receives a first input from a user at a first region of a display screen of the electronic device.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the first area is an open area in the display screen. For example, taking a terminal device having a screen as shown in fig. 1 and the screen being a touch screen as an example, an opening 12 in a screen 11 of the terminal device is located at the upper right end of the screen 11, and a front camera 13 and a flash 14 are disposed in the opening 12. Since the touch panel and the glass cover plate are covered over the opening 12, the display panel over the opening 12 has a touch function, but does not have a display function, and at this time, the display panel area corresponding to the opening 12 is set as the first area.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the first input may be a touch input to the first area. Further, the touch input may be a direct input or a hover input (e.g., the electronic device senses a temperature change or a light change through a sensor). Specifically, the touch input may be a click input, a long-press input, or a specific gesture input, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
Step 202: in response to the first input, the electronic device updates and displays the target content displayed in the status bar of the electronic device as a target application icon.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the application indicated by the target application icon is an application corresponding to a first message, where the first message is at least one of unread messages of the electronic device.
Alternatively, in the embodiment of the present invention, the target application icon may be an application icon of the target application. By way of example, the application in embodiments of the present invention may be a system setup application, a functional application, and other applications. Further, the application may be an application program.
If the application in the electronic device includes an unread message, after receiving the first input of the user, the electronic device may be triggered to display, in the status bar, an icon identifier for indicating the application corresponding to the unread message, so as to prompt the user that the application corresponding to the icon identifier includes the unread message.
In one example, when the same application in the electronic device receives a plurality of unread messages, only one icon of the application corresponding to the plurality of unread messages is displayed in the status bar, so as to prompt a user that the unread messages exist in the application, thereby saving the display space of the status bar.
In another example, when the unread message in the electronic device is an unread message in a plurality of different applications, application icons of the plurality of applications corresponding to the unread message are displayed in a status bar. Further, when the applications corresponding to the unread messages are excessive, and all the application icons cannot be displayed in the status bar, a preset identifier may be displayed near the left side frame or the right side frame, where the preset identifier is used to indicate that, in the status bar, besides the application icons already displayed, some application icons corresponding to the unread messages are not displayed.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the target content may be an operation state identifier of the electronic device. For example, a time identifier of the current time (for prompting the user of the current time), a remaining power identifier of the current time of the electronic device (for prompting the user of the remaining power of the current electronic device), a communication signal identifier condition identifier of the electronic device (for prompting the user of the current communication signal quality), and the like. The running state identifier may be all running state identifiers of the electronic device, or may be part of running state identifiers. Specifically, the user may set the running status identifier displayed in the status bar according to his own requirement, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the target content may be all display content in the status bar, or may be part of display content, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
The above target content may be preset for the electronic device, or may be user-defined, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present invention.
In the embodiment of the invention, the electronic equipment can place the target application icon and/or the state running identifier through preset software.
For example, the preset software may be an "identification box", i.e., the "identification box" may be software (e.g., a software program) in the electronic device.
For example, the "identification storage box" is used for storing a target application icon and/or a state running identification, and a user can trigger the "identification storage box" to start and run through an opening area of the electronic device.
For example, if the electronic device includes an unread message, before the electronic device receives the first input of the user, the target application icon is hidden in the "identifier storage box", and after the electronic device receives the first input of the user, the electronic device updates the target content in the status bar with the target application icon hidden in the "identifier storage box".
For example, the electronic device may be provided with a pressure sensor or an infrared sensor in the opening area. When the pressure sensor is arranged in the open hole area, the electronic equipment can update the target content in the status bar by receiving the pressure input of the user to the open hole area and using the target application icon hidden in the open hole area device; when the infrared sensor is arranged in the open hole area, the electronic equipment can detect the finger temperature of the user by receiving the first input of the user to the open hole area, so that the target content in the status bar is updated by using the target application icon hidden in the device of the open hole area.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the electronic device updates the target content to the target application icon information, the electronic device can hide the target content in the 'identification storage box' at the same time.
For example, when the electronic device receives an unread message, as shown in fig. 4 (a), an open area 31 is provided at the upper right end of the display screen of the electronic device, and status information (i.e., the above-mentioned target content, such as the power information, the time information, the signal information, and the network speed information in fig. 4 (a)) of the electronic device is displayed in a status bar 32 on the display screen. When the user presses the open area 31 on the display screen (i.e., the first input described above), as shown in (b) of fig. 4, the electronic device updates the status information in the status bar to the application icon corresponding to the unread message (i.e., the first message) in the electronic device (i.e., the target application icon, such as the "weather" APP icon, the "chat" APP icon, the "shopping" APP icon, and the "mail" APP icon in (b) of fig. 4).
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, when the first input ends and no other input is received, the content displayed in the status bar of the electronic device is restored to the running status identifier by the target application icon, so that the user can flexibly display the content in the status bar.
Illustrating: when the first input is a press input, when the user performs the press input in the open area, the content displayed in the status bar is switched from the status operation identifier to the application icon corresponding to the unread message, and when the user finishes the press input in the open area, the content displayed in the status bar is restored from the application identifier to the status operation identifier.
In the embodiment of the invention, after receiving the input of the user to the open area in the display screen, the content displayed in the status bar of the electronic equipment can be updated to the application icon, wherein the application icon is the application icon corresponding to the unread message. Therefore, the electronic equipment can prompt the user that the application in the electronic equipment receives the unread message in time, so that the user can conveniently and timely check the unread message in the related application.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, if all the application icons corresponding to the unread messages cannot be displayed in the status bar at one time, the electronic device may update the status bar, so that other application icons that are not displayed are displayed in the status bar.
Exemplary, after the step 202, the display method provided in the embodiment of the present invention further includes the following steps A1 and A2:
Step A1: the electronic device receives a second input from the user to the status bar.
Step A2: in response to the second input, the electronic device displays the first application icon update in the status bar as a second application icon.
Illustratively, the first application icon is at least one of the target application icons.
The application indicated by the second application icon is an application corresponding to a second message, where the second message is a message other than the first message in the unread message of the electronic device.
For example, the second input may refer to the description of the first input, which is not repeated herein.
In one example, the second input may be an input by a user to an area where a preset identifier in the status bar is located. For example, the preset identifier may be an identifier for indicating that an application icon still is not displayed in the status bar. Further, the specific area may be preset for the electronic device or may be user-defined, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present invention.
In one example, the first input and the second input may be two continuous inputs without interruption, or may be different inputs without limitation.
Example 1: the first input is a pressing input of a user in the opening area, and the second input is a sliding input on the status bar. It should be noted that the second input is a sliding input of the user on the status bar at the end of the pressing input.
Example 2: the first input is a pressing input of a first finger of a user in the open hole area, and the second input is a rotating input of the first finger rotated by the user in the process of pressing the first finger on the open hole area.
For example, the electronic device may update all of the first application icons with the second application icons, or may update only a portion of the first application icons with the second application icons. Generally, the electronic device updates part or all of the first application icons by using the second application icons, and if the number of the second application icons is greater than or equal to the number of the first application icons, the second application icons may be used to update all of the first application icons, and conversely, if the number of the second application icons is less than the number of the first application icons, the second application icons may be used to update part of the first application icons.
In this manner, the electronic device may display application icons that were not previously displayed directly in the status bar by receiving input to the status bar.
Further alternatively, in an embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device may use the second application icon instead of the first application icon in at least two display manners.
In the first manner, the electronic device may directly replace the first application icon in the status bar with the second application icon.
In a second example, in combination with the first example, after the electronic device updates the status information in the status bar to the application icon, the user performs a press input (i.e., the second input) on the gap area between the status bar and the open area. At this time, if the number of application icons corresponding to other unread messages in the electronic device is the same as the number of application icons displayed in the current status bar, the electronic device may directly replace all application icons displayed in the current status bar with application icons corresponding to other unread messages.
In a second manner, the electronic device may sequentially replace the first application icon in the status bar in a predetermined display manner.
In the step A2, the display method provided in the embodiment of the present invention may include the following step B:
and (B) step (B): the electronic device controls at least one first application icon in the status bar to move out of the status bar along a preset direction, and controls at least one second application icon to move in the status bar along the preset direction.
For example, the predetermined direction may be the same as the arrangement direction of the application icons in the status bar, for example, when the arrangement direction of the application icons in the status bar is a left-to-right direction arrangement, the predetermined direction may be a left-to-right direction arrangement, or when the arrangement direction of the application icons in the status bar is a right-to-left direction arrangement.
Further, the predetermined direction may be preset for the electronic device or may be user-defined, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
The number of the first application icons moving out of the status bar along the predetermined direction and the number of the second application icons moving into the status bar along the predetermined direction are in one-to-one correspondence, that is, the electronic device moves out of one first application icon and will also move into one second application icon, and the electronic device moves out of N first application icons and will also move into N second application icons.
The number of the first application icons moving out of the status bar along the preset direction and the number of the second application icons moving in the status bar along the preset direction are related to the duration that the electronic device receives the second input, and the longer the duration of the second input, the more the first application icons and the second application icons move in, and vice versa, the less.
For example, when the second input is a sliding input, the first application icon may be updated one by one along with a sliding direction of the sliding input.
For example, in the process of moving the electronic device out of the first application icon and moving the second application icon, the first application icon may be hidden in the "identification storage box", and the second application icon is moved out of the "identification storage box" for display.
Further, the process of moving the first application icon out of the "identification storage box" and moving the second application icon into the storage box may be an endless loop process. That is, if the electronic device continues to receive the second input until all the second application icons are removed, at this time, the second application icons are removed into the "identifier storage box", and the first application icons are moved into the "identifier storage box" from the "identifier storage box" and displayed in the status bar.
It should be noted that, if the status bar of the electronic device includes other unread messages in other applications except for the unread messages in the application corresponding to the first application icon, the electronic device still displays the first application icon in the status bar after receiving the second input, and does not update any icon display.
Example three, in combination with the above example one, after the electronic device updates the status information in the status bar to the application icon, the user performs a sliding input (i.e., the above second input) by the open area 31 to the left. At this time, as shown in (a) of fig. 5, the application icons in the status bar 32 start to move from right to left along with the sliding direction of the user's finger, as shown in (b) of fig. 5, the "weather" APP icon 51 (i.e., the first application icon) in the status bar moves out of the status bar 32 from right to left, and the "game" APP icon 52 (i.e., the second application icon) in the status bar 32 moves in from right to left, and is displayed in the status bar 32.
Therefore, after the electronic equipment receives the first input, application icons corresponding to other unread messages can be displayed in the status bar in a mode of sequentially displaying the application icons one by one along the preset direction, so that a user can conveniently check applications corresponding to all the unread messages, and the user is ensured not to miss checking the unread messages.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the present invention, the second input is a pressing input of a user on the status bar. Based on this, in the above step A2, the display method provided in the embodiment of the present invention may include the following step C:
Step C: in response to the pressing input, the electronic device updates and displays the first application icon displayed in the status bar as the second application icon in the process that the user presses the status bar.
For example, the above-described press input may receive a second input of the user for a particular setting-specific area of the electronic device in the status bar. For example, the electronic device may set a preset identifier in the status bar, where the preset identifier is used to indicate that, in the status bar, the electronic device still includes other unread messages in the second application except for unread messages in the application corresponding to the first application icon.
In the fourth example, in combination with the first example, as shown in fig. 6, after the electronic device updates the status information in the status bar to the application icon, the user's finger does not leave the display screen, directly slides onto the preset identifier 61 indicated on the left side of the status bar, and performs the press input. After the electronic device receives the pressing input, all application icons displayed in the current status bar are replaced by application icons corresponding to other unread messages.
Therefore, the user can conveniently and flexibly call the application icons which are not displayed by setting the preset identification in the status bar.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, the electronic device may display, on the display screen, an unread message in an application corresponding to the application icon according to the input of the application icon by the user.
Exemplary, after the step 202, the display method provided in the embodiment of the present invention further includes the following steps D1 and D2:
step D1: the electronic device receives a third input from the user of the target application icon.
Step D2: and responding to the third input, and displaying the first prompt information by the electronic equipment according to the message content of the unread message corresponding to the target application icon.
For example, the third input may refer to the first input, which is not described herein.
The third input and the first input may be two continuous inputs without interruption, or may be different inputs without limitation.
In example 3, the first input may be a first press input by the user in the open area, and the second input may be a second press input by the user on a certain target application icon in the status bar when the first press input is completed.
It should be noted that, the input relationship between the first input and the third input may be preset for the electronic device or may be user-defined, which is not limited by the embodiment of the present invention.
The first prompt information may be, for example, the entire message content of the unread message, the partial message content of the unread message, or the prompt information corresponding to the unread message, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
Further, the electronic device may set different prompt information according to different types of applications corresponding to the unread message. For example, when the application is a chat-type application, the first prompt information is name information of a sender of the message, when the application is a weather-type application, the first prompt information is set as information related to temperature, and when the application is a shopping-type application, the first prompt information is set as logistics information related to articles purchased by the user.
For example, the first prompt may be displayed in a floating window. The floating window can be displayed on a display interface in the display screen in a superposition mode, and the display area of the floating window in the display screen is not overlapped with the display area of the status bar in the display screen.
In one example, the floating window may be displayed superimposed on the display interface of the display screen with a predetermined transparency, and assuming that the predetermined transparency is T, the value range of T may be 0% < T <100%.
In one example, the electronic device displays a floating window on the display screen after receiving the third input and displays the first prompt in the floating window. Further, the third input may be a touch input (e.g., a long press input, or a click input) of the target application icon by the user.
Further, the electronic device displays the floating window in the display screen in response to the third input, and cancels the display of the floating window when the third input is over.
For example, when the third input is a long press input, the electronic device displays the floating window in the display screen in response to the long press input, and cancels the display of the floating window when the long press input ends.
Further, the electronic device displays the floating window in the display screen in response to the third input, and cancels displaying the floating window in response to the fourth input when the fourth input is received.
Example 4: when the third input is a click input, the electronic device responds to the click input, the floating window is displayed in the display screen when the electronic device receives the click input of the user on the target application icon, and the floating window is canceled from being displayed when the electronic device receives the click input (namely, the fifth input) of the user on the target application icon again.
In fifth example, as shown in fig. 7, after the electronic device updates the status information in the status bar to the application icon, the user performs press input (i.e., the third input) on the "chat" APP icon 71 (i.e., the target application icon), and a floating window 72 is displayed on the current interface of the electronic device in an overlapping manner, where the floating window 72 displays a prompt message (i.e., the first prompt message) of the name of the person corresponding to the unread message and the number of messages corresponding to the name of the person received in the "chat" APP.
Therefore, the user can call the prompt information of the unread message in the application corresponding to the target application icon through the input of any target application icon in the status bar, so that the user can know the approximate content of the unread message in advance before entering the application, and after the user performs preliminary screening on the unread message, the user can enter the application for viewing more pertinently, thereby saving the time for viewing the unread message by the user and greatly improving the use efficiency of the user.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, after the electronic device receives the unread message, a prompt message for prompting the user to receive the unread message may be displayed in the display screen.
For example, before the step 201, the display method provided by the embodiment of the present invention may further include the following step E:
step E: and the electronic equipment displays second prompt information in the second area.
The second region is illustratively a region adjacent to the first region.
The second region is, for example, a region surrounding the first region.
Further, the second area may be an area adjacent to the first area, or may be an area having a predetermined distance from the first area. The predetermined distance may be preset for the electronic device or may be user-defined, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
For example, the second prompting information may be used to prompt the user that there is an unread message in the electronic device waiting for the user to view.
The second prompt information may be a light prompt information.
For example, the electronic device may be provided with an annular indicator light in the open area around the front camera, where the annular indicator light is used to display the light prompt information.
Further, the light source of the annular indicator lamp may be a light emitting diode, a laser lamp, or any other possible light source, which may be specifically determined according to the actual use requirement, and the embodiment of the present invention is not limited.
The light-emitting source may be one or more.
The light emitting diode may be a multi-color lamp (such as an RGB lamp) or a single-color lamp, which may be specifically determined according to practical requirements, and embodiments of the present invention are not limited. For the multi-color lamp, the terminal device can control the light emitting diode to emit light rays with different colors and/or indicate different information received by the electronic device with different light emitting frequencies according to different driving signals. Specifically, the color of the indicator light of the electronic equipment can be dynamically changed according to the actual use requirement, so that the visual aesthetic feeling of the electronic equipment can be improved, and the flexibility of man-machine interaction is improved.
Further, when the electronic device has unread information for the user to view, the annular indicator lamp can emit light at the frequency of X times/second; when the electronic equipment receives a new unread message within a preset time period, the color of the indicator lamp can be changed, the luminous frequency in unit time is improved, and the luminous frequency is changed into the frequency of Y times/second to emit light so as to prompt a user to receive the new unread message, wherein X and Y are positive integers and X is less than Y; when there is no unread message in the electronic device, the indicator light is extinguished and no longer emits light.
Therefore, the user can know in advance that the unread message in the application in the electronic equipment needs to be checked without checking the target application icon in the status bar, so that the unread message can be checked in time by the user conveniently, and the use efficiency of the user is improved.
Optionally, in the embodiment of the present invention, after the electronic device receives the input of the user on any one of the target application icons, the application icon may be enlarged and displayed in a floating manner on the display screen.
For example, after the step 202, the display method provided by the embodiment of the present invention may further include the following steps F1 and F2:
step F1: the electronic device receives a fourth input from the user of the third application icon.
Step F2: and responding to the fourth input, and displaying the third application icon on a third area of the display screen by the electronic equipment according to a preset magnification ratio.
The third application icon is at least one of the target application icons.
For example, the fourth input may refer to the description of the first input, which is not repeated herein.
In one example, the fourth input and the first input may be continuous input without interruption, or may be different input without interruption, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
The third area may be a display area of the display screen that does not overlap with the status bar.
The preset amplification ratio may be preset for the electronic device, or may be user-defined, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
In one example, after the electronic device receives the first input of the user, the electronic device updates the state information displayed in the state bar to the target application icon, and at this time, if the electronic device receives the sliding input (i.e. the fourth input) of the user in the state bar, the target application icon that the sliding track passes through is sequentially enlarged and displayed according to a preset proportion along the sliding track of the sliding input.
Because the status bar is generally narrower, the displayed application icons are smaller, and through the icon amplifying function, after the electronic equipment receives the input of a user to any target application icon, the target application icon can be amplified and displayed in the display screen, so that the user can more clearly check the application icon, and more accurate further operation can be performed.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the message display methods shown in the foregoing method drawings are all exemplified by the embodiment of the present invention in combination with one drawing. In specific implementation, the message display method shown in the above method drawings may also be implemented in combination with any other drawing that may be combined and is illustrated in the above embodiment, and will not be repeated here.
