The invention provides a method and a system compatible with various automatic control protocols, comprising the steps of obtaining equipment connection information, wherein the equipment connection information comprises equipment layer information, service layer information and attribute layer information, obtaining identification information of control equipment according to the equipment layer information, marking the identification information as control equipment identification information, obtaining a control instruction set of the control equipment according to the service layer information, marking the control instruction set as a matching instruction set, obtaining control instructions of the control equipment according to the attribute layer information and the matching instruction set, marking the control instructions as first control instructions, and controlling the receiving equipment to operate according to the first control instructions; according to the method, the control information sent by the multiple communication protocols is uniformly converted into the MLP protocol and then the data is transmitted in a layered manner, so that the connection among intelligent home accessories of different protocols is realized, and the aim of compatibility of multiple protocols is fulfilled.
