Technical Field

Background
With the deep application of the cloud computing platform in different industries, a user builds a private cloud platform in an organization framework of the user, and meanwhile, considerable application software needs to be correspondingly deployed on the private cloud platform in consideration of factors such as external service provision and the like.
The differences of the cloud platform and the software in functions, architecture, installation configuration, technical documents and user interfaces bring certain difficulty to the unified management of users and increase the complexity of the use of the users. When a provider upgrades a cloud platform system and deploys and upgrades an application software system, a user needs to contact the provider to upgrade and install the cloud platform system, and corresponding installation, configuration and testing are complex.

The applicant found that: the main problems of offline deployment and upgrade are: users cannot actively acquire notifications of system and application updates, and are difficult to benefit from technical iteration in real time; in the passive updating operation, most users can be aware of the need of updating when encountering problems; the workload of operation and maintenance personnel is increased.
The main problems of online deployment and upgrade are: an external public network connection needs to be established in a private cloud environment, so that potential safety hazards exist; the operation and maintenance personnel need to log in different manufacturer websites for deployment and upgrade; not all vendors support online deployment and upgrades.
In view of the above technical problems, the present disclosure provides an application updating method and system, a local management agent device, and a cloud server, which can reduce complexity of application deployment and update.

the display module 160 is configured to display the update message sent by the cloud server to the user, where the cloud server generates the update message and sends the update message to the local management agent device when the private cloud platform or the application has an update; the presentation module 160 sends the user confirmation message to the cloud server, so that the cloud server pushes the application image and the deployment script to the local management agent device when the user confirms the update.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the display module 160 may be further configured to display, after connecting with the cloud server, all registered data centers under the tenant identifier corresponding to the user, and infrastructure, dynamic ring management, asset state, operation state, and configuration information of each data center to the user.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the presentation module 160 may be further configured to present, after connecting with the cloud server, all registered data centers under the tenant identity corresponding to the user, and an overview view, an asset view, an application view, and an execution view of each data center to the user.
In some embodiments of the disclosure, the display module 160 may be further configured to display a cloud application market module to the user after connecting with the cloud server, where the cloud application market module is a public area accessible to all tenants, and the cloud application market module includes an updated version of the private cloud platform and application software that has been verified and can be deployed on the private cloud platform. Each piece of software comprises a mirror image and a corresponding automated deployment upgrade script.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the display module 160 may be further configured to display an application market area in the cloud tenant space to the user after connecting with the cloud server, where the application market area in the cloud tenant space may view three types of information, information of a bottom infrastructure FW (firmware) version, a deployed private cloud platform and a software version, and a new online application in the application market.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the local management agent apparatus is configured to perform operations for implementing the application update method according to any of the embodiments (for example, the embodiment of fig. 5) described above.
Fig. 7 is a schematic diagram of other embodiments of a local management agent apparatus according to the disclosure. As shown in fig. 7, the local management agent apparatus of the present disclosure (e.g., the local management agent apparatus 100 of the embodiment of fig. 1 or fig. 2) may include an agent memory 170 and an agent processor 180, wherein:
a proxy memory 170 for storing instructions.
An agent processor 180, configured to execute the instructions, so that the local management agent device performs operations to implement the application update method according to any one of the embodiments (for example, the embodiment of fig. 5) described above.
Based on the local management agent device provided by the above embodiment of the present disclosure, based on the application market and the application arrangement of the public cloud, version management, deployment, and update management are performed on the cloud platform and the upper application in the private environment, so that the complexity of application deployment and update is reduced, and thus, while the security is ensured, unified management of application deployment and system update of the private cloud platform is realized.
FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram illustrating additional embodiments of an update method according to the present disclosure. Preferably, the embodiment can be executed by the cloud server or the application update system of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 8, the method comprises the steps of:
in step 81, the cloud server receives the configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application sent by the local management agent device.
And step 82, the cloud server judges whether the private cloud platform or the application is updated according to the configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application.
And step 83, the cloud server pushes the application image and the deployment script to the local management agent device under the condition that the private cloud platform or the application is updated, so that the local management agent device executes the deployment script to update the application image on the private cloud platform.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the application update method may further include: under the condition that the local management agent device logs in the cloud server through the tenant identification, the cloud server performs multi-factor authentication on the tenant identification; and after the multi-factor authentication of the tenant identification is passed, the cloud server establishes connection with the local management agent device.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the application update method may further include: the cloud server generates an update message under the condition that the private cloud platform or the application has an update; the cloud server sends the update message to a local management agent device so that the local management agent device can display the update message sent by the cloud server to a user; the cloud server receives a user confirmation message sent by the local management agent device; and the cloud server pushes the application mirror image and the deployment script to the local management agent device under the condition that the user confirms the update.
Based on the application updating method provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, based on the application market and the application arrangement of a public cloud, version management, deployment and updating management are performed on the cloud platform and the upper-layer application in the private environment by means of the locally deployed local management agent device, so that the complexity of application deployment and updating is reduced, and the unified management of application deployment and system updating of the private cloud platform is realized while the safety is ensured.
Fig. 9 is a schematic diagram of another embodiment of a cloud server according to the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 9, the disclosed cloud server (e.g., the cloud server 200 in the embodiment of fig. 1 or fig. 2) may include a configuration information receiving module 230, an update determining module 240, and a data pushing module 250, where:
the configuration information receiving module 230 is configured to receive configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application, which is sent by the local management agent apparatus.
And the update judging module 240 is configured to judge whether the private cloud platform or the application is updated according to the configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application.
The data pushing module 250 is configured to, when the private cloud platform or the application is updated, push the application image and the deployment script to the local management agent device, so that the local management agent device executes the deployment script to update the application image on the private cloud platform.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the cloud server is configured to perform operations for implementing the application update method according to any of the embodiments (for example, the embodiment of fig. 8) described above.
Fig. 10 is a schematic diagram of a cloud server according to still further embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 10, the disclosed cloud server (e.g., the cloud server 200 in the embodiment of fig. 1 or fig. 2) may include a server memory 280 and a server processor 290, where:
a server memory 280 for storing instructions;
the server processor 290 is configured to execute the instructions, so that the cloud server performs operations to implement the application update method according to any one of the embodiments (for example, fig. 8).
Based on the cloud server provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, based on the application market and the application arrangement of a public cloud, version management, deployment and update management are performed on a cloud platform and an upper application in a private environment by means of a locally deployed local management agent device, so that the complexity of application deployment and update is reduced, and the unified management of application deployment and system update of the private cloud platform is realized while the safety is ensured.
FIG. 11 is a schematic diagram of yet another embodiment of an application update system of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 11, the application update system of the present disclosure may include a local management agent device 100 and a cloud server 200, wherein:
the cloud server 200 may include a cloud multi-tenant management module 210 and a cloud application marketplace module, wherein:
the cloud multi-tenant management module 210 is configured to create and manage a plurality of tenants independent from each other, where each tenant corresponds to one or more local management agent apparatuses 100. The user needs to create a corresponding tenant account (tenant id) in the public cloud, and register the account in the local management agent apparatus 100. By setting the corresponding firewall port, the cloud multi-tenant management module 210 establishes a connection with the local management agent device 100.
The cloud application marketplace module may include a mirror storage area 221, a version management area 222, and an application arrangement area 223, wherein: when the cloud platform and the application have a new version release, a new image file is stored in the image storage area 221, and a corresponding software automation upgrade script is stored in the application arrangement area 223 and is updated in real time in the version management area 222.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the cloud server 200 may further include a multi-factor authentication module 260, wherein:
the multi-factor authentication module 260 is configured to perform multi-factor authentication on the tenant identifier when the local management agent device logs in the cloud server through the tenant identifier; and after the multi-factor authentication of the tenant identification is passed, indicating the cloud server to establish connection with the local management agent device.
According to the application updating system disclosed by the embodiment of the disclosure, by creating the tenant space and the application market module, the user can more actively perform unified management on the private cloud, and the supplier can more actively push technical innovation to the terminal user.
The tenant space and application marketplace modules created by the above embodiments of the present disclosure are not limited to a certain public cloud service provider.
In some embodiments of the present disclosure, the tenant space and application marketplace modules may be deployed within a hybrid cloud environment, such as within a private environment with both the user's cloud platform.
According to the embodiment of the disclosure, the data security and privacy protection of the user can be ensured by multi-factor authentication and separating the management link, the uploading link and the pushing link to perform authority control.
According to another aspect of the present disclosure, a computer-readable storage medium is provided, wherein the computer-readable storage medium stores computer instructions, and the instructions, when executed by a processor, implement the application update method according to any one of the embodiments (for example, fig. 5 or fig. 8) above.
Based on the computer-readable storage medium provided by the above-mentioned embodiment of the present disclosure, version management, deployment and update management can be performed on a cloud platform and an upper application in a private environment, so that complexity of application deployment and update is reduced, and thus, while security is ensured, unified management of application deployment and system update of the private cloud platform is realized.
The local management agent devices and cloud servers described above may be implemented as a general purpose processor, a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), a Digital Signal Processor (DSP), an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), a Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) or other programmable logic device, discrete gate or transistor logic, discrete hardware components, or any suitable combination thereof, for performing the functions described herein.
Thus far, the present disclosure has been described in detail. Some details that are well known in the art have not been described in order to avoid obscuring the concepts of the present disclosure. It will be fully apparent to those skilled in the art from the foregoing description how to practice the presently disclosed embodiments.
It will be understood by those skilled in the art that all or part of the steps for implementing the above embodiments may be implemented by hardware, or may be implemented by a program instructing relevant hardware to implement the above embodiments, where the program may be stored in a computer-readable storage medium, and the above-mentioned storage medium may be a read-only memory, a magnetic disk, an optical disk, or the like.

Many modifications and variations will be apparent to practitioners skilled in this art. The embodiment was chosen and described in order to best explain the principles of the disclosure and the practical application, and to enable others of ordinary skill in the art to understand the disclosure for various embodiments with various modifications as are suited to the particular use contemplated.

Claims (15)

1. An application update method, comprising:
the method comprises the steps that a local management agent device obtains configuration information of a private cloud platform and application;
the local management agent device sends the configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application to the cloud server so that the cloud server can judge whether the private cloud platform or the application is updated or not according to the configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application;
the method comprises the steps that a local management agent device receives an application mirror image and a deployment script pushed by a cloud server;
and the local management agent device executes the deployment script to update the application image on the private cloud platform.
2. The application update method according to claim 1, further comprising:
the local management agent device logs in the cloud server through the tenant identification so that the cloud server can conveniently perform multi-factor authentication on the tenant identification;
and after the multi-factor authentication of the tenant identification by the cloud server is passed, the local management agent device is connected with the cloud server.
3. The application update method according to claim 1 or 2, further comprising:
the local management agent device displays an update message sent by the cloud server to a user, wherein the cloud server generates the update message and sends the update message to the local management agent device under the condition that a private cloud platform or application is updated;
the local management agent device sends the user confirmation message to the cloud server, so that the cloud server pushes the application mirror image and the deployment script to the local management agent device under the condition that the user confirms the update.
4. The application update method according to claim 1 or 2, further comprising:
after the updating is completed, the local management agent device updates the configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application, and synchronizes the updated configuration information to the cloud server.
5. An application update method, comprising:
the cloud server receives configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application sent by the local management agent device;
the cloud server judges whether the private cloud platform or the application is updated or not according to the configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application;
the cloud server pushes the application mirror image and the deployment script to the local management agent device under the condition that the private cloud platform or the application is updated, so that the local management agent device executes the deployment script to update the application mirror image on the private cloud platform.
6. The application updating method according to claim 5, further comprising:
under the condition that the local management agent device logs in the cloud server through the tenant identification, the cloud server performs multi-factor authentication on the tenant identification;
and after the multi-factor authentication of the tenant identification is passed, the cloud server establishes connection with the local management agent device.
7. The application updating method according to claim 5 or 6, further comprising:
the cloud server generates an update message under the condition that the private cloud platform or the application has an update;
the cloud server sends the update message to a local management agent device so that the local management agent device can display the update message sent by the cloud server to a user;
the cloud server receives a user confirmation message sent by the local management agent device;
and the cloud server pushes the application mirror image and the deployment script to the local management agent device under the condition that the user confirms the update.
8. A local management agent apparatus, comprising:
the configuration information acquisition module is used for acquiring configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application;
the configuration information sending module is used for sending the configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application to the cloud server so that the cloud server can judge whether the private cloud platform or the application is updated or not according to the configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application;
the data receiving module is used for receiving the application mirror image and the deployment script pushed by the cloud server;
and the application updating module is used for executing the deployment script to update the application mirror image on the private cloud platform.
9. The local management agent apparatus according to claim 8, wherein the local management agent apparatus is configured to perform an operation of implementing the application update method according to any one of claims 1 to 4.
10. A local management agent apparatus, comprising:
a proxy memory for storing instructions;
an agent processor for executing the instructions to cause the local management agent device to perform operations to implement the application update method of any of claims 1-4.
11. A cloud server, comprising:
the configuration information receiving module is used for receiving the configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application, which is sent by the local management agent device;
the update judging module is used for judging whether the private cloud platform or the application is updated according to the configuration information of the private cloud platform and the application;
the data pushing module is used for pushing the application mirror image and the deployment script to the local management agent device under the condition that the private cloud platform or the application is updated, so that the local management agent device executes the deployment script to update the application mirror image on the private cloud platform.
12. Cloud server according to claim 11, wherein the cloud server is configured to perform operations to implement the application update method according to any one of claims 5 to 7.
13. A cloud server, comprising:
a server memory to store instructions;
a server processor configured to execute the instructions to cause the cloud server to perform operations to implement the application update method according to any one of claims 5 to 7.
14. An application update system comprising the local management agent apparatus according to any one of claims 8 to 10 and the cloud server according to any one of claims 11 to 13.
15. A computer-readable storage medium storing computer instructions which, when executed by a processor, implement the application update method of any one of claims 1-7.
