FIG. 1A shows a schematic view of a navigation system for a guest vehicle to which an embodiment of the invention may be applied.
As shown in fig. 1A, a navigation system 100 for a guest vehicle may include one or more cameras 101, 102, 103, a network 104, a server 105, and a display 106. The network 104 is the medium used to provide communication links between the cameras 101, 102, 103 and the server 105, and the network 104 is the medium used to provide communication links between the server 105 and the display 106. Network 104 may include various connection types, such as wired, wireless communication links, or fiber optic cables, to name a few.
It should be understood that the number of cameras, networks, servers, and displays in FIG. 1A are merely illustrative. There may be any number of cameras, networks, servers, and displays, as desired for an implementation. For example, server 105 may be a server cluster comprised of multiple servers, or the like.
The cameras 101, 102, 103 may interact with a server 105 over a network 104 to receive or send messages and the like. The cameras 101, 102, 103 may be various cameras having the function of acquiring images. For example, the image of the license plate of the visitor's vehicle can be obtained through the camera 103 (or the camera 101 or 102). The camera 103 (or the camera 101 or 102) may be installed at a designated position of the preset area. For example, the camera 103 (or the camera 101 or 102) may be installed at an intersection of a large campus or a security campus.
The display 106 may interact with the server 105 over the network 104 to receive or send messages or the like. The display 106 may be a variety of displays having presentation information. For example, the display 106 may present navigation information of the guest vehicle within a preset area.
The server 105 may be a server that provides various services. For example, the server 105 may receive a license plate image of the guest vehicle sent by the camera 103 (or the camera 101 or 102), and then the server 105 may determine the location information of the guest vehicle in the preset area according to the license plate image of the guest vehicle, determine the destination information of the guest vehicle in the preset area according to the license plate information of the guest vehicle, determine the navigation information of the guest vehicle in the preset area according to the location information of the guest vehicle in the preset area and the destination information of the guest vehicle in the preset area, send the navigation information of the guest vehicle in the preset area to the display 106, and finally show the navigation information of the guest vehicle in the preset area on the display 106, so that the guest vehicle can be quickly and accurately guided to a parking lot of a unit to be visited to some extent.
Referring to fig. 1B, the server 105 may include a campus visitor vehicle guidance system 10 (e.g., a campus-related visitor vehicle guidance system 10), a visitor system 20, a license plate recognition system 30, and a notification system 40 (e.g., a liquid crystal notification system 40).
In particular, the guest system 20 may be used to receive vehicle information of the guest vehicle, which may include, but is not limited to, license plate information of the guest vehicle (e.g., the license plate number of the guest vehicle), destination information of the guest vehicle (e.g., unit address information to be visited by the guest vehicle), and the like, for example. For example, when a user visits a unit in a large campus or a security-related campus, the license plate number of a guest vehicle and address information of the unit to be visited by the guest vehicle are recorded in the guest system, in this case, when the guest vehicle enters the campus, the destination information of the guest vehicle can be determined based on the license plate information of the guest vehicle, and the destination information of the guest vehicle can be transmitted to the guest vehicle guidance system 10 in the security-related campus.
The license plate recognition system 30 may be configured to recognize the license plate image and determine location information of the visitor vehicle in the campus based on the identification of the license plate image. For example, a camera 103 (or a camera 101 or 102) is arranged at an intersection in a campus, when a visitor vehicle passes through, a license plate image of the visitor vehicle can be acquired through the camera 103 (or the camera 101 or 102), then the license plate image of the visitor vehicle is recognized through the license plate recognition system 30, and the location information of the visitor vehicle in the campus is determined according to the identification of the license plate image. In this embodiment, the identification of the license plate image may be an identification of a certain camera in the campus, and according to the identification, the location information of the camera in the campus may be determined, the location information of the camera in the campus may be used as the location information of the visitor vehicle in the campus, and the location information of the visitor vehicle in the campus may be sent to the visitor vehicle guidance system 10 in the secret-involved campus. In addition, in this example, the license plate recognition system 30 may be disposed in the camera 103 (or the camera 101 or 102), that is, the camera 103 (or the camera 101 or 102) has not only the function of acquiring an image but also the function of recognizing an image.
The visitor vehicle guidance system 10 for a secret park may be used to determine navigation information for a visitor vehicle on the park based on destination information for the visitor vehicle and location information for the visitor vehicle on the park. For example, the advice information of the driving direction of the guest vehicle at the campus may be obtained by calculation based on the destination information of the guest vehicle and the location information of the guest vehicle in the campus, for example, the advice information of the driving direction of the guest vehicle at the campus may be a left turn and then a straight line, or a right turn and a straight line, etc., but is not limited thereto. In this case, the guidance information of the guest vehicle on the campus may be transmitted to the liquid crystal guidance system 40 through the guest vehicle guidance system 10.
The liquid crystal display prompting system 40 may be used to send the navigation information of the guest vehicle on the campus to the display 106 so as to show the navigation information of the guest vehicle on the display 106. Additionally, in this example, the liquid crystal cue system 40 may be disposed in the display 106.
In the present invention, the visitor vehicle is not navigated by the GPS navigation system, but navigates within a preset area by interaction between the campus visitor vehicle guidance system 10 (e.g., the secret park visitor vehicle guidance system 10), the visitor system 20, the license plate recognition system 30, and the prompt system 40 (e.g., the liquid crystal prompt system 40). For example, the visitor system 20 obtains the destination of the visitor vehicle, the license plate recognition system 30 obtains the real-time location of the visitor vehicle, and the prompt system 40 gives a prompt message (i.e., a navigation message) according to the destination and the real-time location, so that the direction of the visitor vehicle at the intersection can be informed, and the visitor vehicle can be quickly and accurately guided to the parking lot of the unit to be visited to a certain extent.

In one embodiment of the present invention, the predetermined area may include, but is not limited to, a large campus, a secret-related campus, and the like. In general, electronic map information of a part of a large campus is lacking in an electronic map because a large number of unit addresses are included in the large campus. Because the secret-related park belongs to a secret unit, the satellite carrier information is interfered or shielded usually, namely, the electronic map also lacks the electronic map information of the secret-related unit. It is difficult to quickly and accurately reach the parking lot of the unit to be visited by the guest vehicle through the related art navigation method after entering the preset area. However, the method of the invention determines the navigation information of the visitor vehicle in the preset area according to the position information of the visitor vehicle in the preset area and the destination information of the visitor vehicle in the preset area, and sends the navigation information of the visitor vehicle in the preset area to display the navigation information at the appointed position in the preset area, so that the visitor vehicle can be quickly and accurately guided to the parking lot of the unit to be visited to a certain extent.
In an embodiment of the present invention, a camera may be disposed at an intersection in the preset area, and when a visitor vehicle passes through an area shot by the camera, a license plate image of the visitor vehicle may be acquired by the camera and then sent to the server, in which case the server may determine location information of the visitor vehicle in the preset area according to the license plate image of the visitor vehicle. Of course, in this embodiment, the license plate image may also be recognized by the camera, and the recognition result is sent to the server.
In one embodiment of the invention, the position information of a camera for shooting the license plate image of a visitor vehicle is used as the position information of the visitor vehicle in a preset area. For example, a license plate image acquired through a camera has an identifier, the identifier can be used for representing a position identifier of the camera acquiring the license plate image in a preset area, the position information of the camera in the preset area can be determined according to the position identifier, and the position information of the camera in the preset area can be used as the position information of the current visitor vehicle in the preset area.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the license plate information of the vehicle may be a license plate number of the visitor vehicle. Whether a guest vehicle corresponding to the license plate number is registered in the guest system or not can be inquired based on the license plate number, and if the guest vehicle is registered in the guest system, destination information of the guest vehicle can be inquired according to the license plate number.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the navigation information of the guest vehicle within the preset area is determined according to the location information of the guest vehicle within the preset area and the destination information of the guest vehicle within the preset area. For example, the navigation information of the guest vehicle in the preset area may be calculated by an algorithm according to the location information of the guest vehicle in the preset area and the destination information of the guest vehicle in the preset area, and for example, the navigation information may include, but is not limited to, turning left and then going straight, or turning right and then going straight, etc.
In one embodiment of the invention, after the navigation information of the visitor vehicle in the preset area is determined, the navigation information of the visitor vehicle in the preset area can be sent to the display and displayed by the display, so that the visitor vehicle can be quickly and accurately guided to the parking lot of the unit to be visited to a certain extent. In this embodiment, the display may be disposed at the intersection in the preset area. In addition, the camera and the display can be arranged at the same position of the intersection and can also be arranged at different positions of the intersection.
Fig. 3 schematically shows a flow chart of a navigation method for a guest vehicle according to another embodiment of the present invention.
