The tip holder consists of two metal clamping blocks that hold the electrodes, and the size of the tip holder is about 100 x 40 x 15mm (length x width x thickness).
First, a structure in which a head frame of a spot welding head is mounted on a head column via a height-adjustable device will be described.
Referring to fig. 1 to 7, the present invention provides a micro resistance spot welding apparatus, which includes:
the spot welding machine head 100 comprises a machine head frame 104, wherein the machine head frame 104 is arranged on a machine head bottom plate 101 through a machine head upright post 106, and a welding head clamp 105 is arranged below the machine head frame 104;
a parallel electrode horn 102 mounted on a horn holder 105; and

The inner side surface corresponding to the second metal member 202 is provided with a sliding groove 205 matched with the sliding block 203 and a transverse toothed shaft 206 meshed with the longitudinal rack 204, the tail end of the transverse toothed shaft 206 is provided with a hand wheel 207, the rotation of the hand wheel 207 drives the transverse toothed shaft 206 to rotate, and the spot welder head 101 is driven to move up and down through the matching of the transverse toothed shaft 206 and the longitudinal rack 204. In order to increase the sliding performance of the slider 203 on the transverse shafts 206 and to reduce the mutual clearance, balls are generally mounted on the transverse shafts 206. Thus, the first metal member 201 and the second metal member 202 can be integrally installed through the sliding block 203, the sliding groove 205, the longitudinal rack 204, the tooth slot 206 and the hand wheel 207.

At this time, as long as the handwheel 207 is rotated, the transverse gear shaft 206 can be driven to drive the longitudinal rack 204 and the slider 203, so that the height of the handpiece frame 104 on the handpiece upright column 106 can be flexibly adjusted. In other words, the height of the handpiece frame 104 relative to the handpiece column 106 can be adjusted by rotating the handwheel 207.
In this embodiment, the height-adjustable device formed by the slider, the sliding shaft, the rack, and the pinion is very compact in structure, and can meet the use requirement of stable installation of the spot welding machine head 100 of the micro-resistance welding equipment on the machine head upright post 104, and increase the installation stability of the spot welding machine head 100.
Referring specifically to fig. 2, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the height-adjustable device 107 is further provided with a locking structure, which includes a side metal plate 210 disposed on the outer side of the movable portion of the height-adjustable device 107 and fastening screws 208, 209 mounted on the side metal plate. It can be understood that the side metal plate 210 is provided with a through slot to ensure the moving stroke of the height adjustable device, so as to meet the requirement of flexibly adjustable and stable installation of the head frame 104 of the spot welding head 100 at the position of the head column 106.
Since the side metal plate 210 and the second metal member 202 may be fastened together, and the side metal plate 210 and the second metal member 202 may be formed into an integral structure, it is also within the scope of the present invention that the side metal plate 210 and the second metal member 202 are formed into an integral structure.
The structure of the thin wire feeding device provided in the wire bonder head 100 will be described.
Referring to fig. 4 and 5, the spot welder head 100 is provided with a wire feeding device 300, the wire feeding device 300 includes a bracket 303 mounted on the front end surface of the head frame 104, a small wheel 302 mounted above the bracket 303 for winding a thin welding wire 301, a wire clamping small wheel 304 mounted below the bracket, and a longitudinal through hole or through groove 405 provided on the parallel electrode welding head 102, and the parallel electrode welding head 102 provided with the longitudinal through hole or through groove 405 is mounted on the welding head clamp 105.
It should be noted that a small spring is installed at the rear end of small wire clamping wheel 304, and small wire clamping wheel 304 can ensure that thin welding wire 301 has a certain tension and thin welding wire 301 installed on small wheel 302 is not loosened. Hereinafter, the parallel electrode horn 102 and the longitudinal through-hole or through-groove 405 provided in the parallel electrode horn 102 will be described.
Referring to fig. 5, the parallel electrode horn 102 is constructed to include two parallel electrodes and a spacer insulator layer 402 that integrally secures the two electrodes together, and the parallel electrode horn 102 includes a horn body 401, a clamping end 403, and a horn tip 404. As shown in fig. 5, the present embodiment proposes that a longitudinal through-hole or through-groove 405 is provided on the outer side surface of the clamping end 403 of the parallel electrode bonding tool, and the wire to be bonded or the tape to be bonded can pass through the through-hole or through-groove 405 and be guided to the tip of the parallel electrode bonding tool.
It should be noted that, the conventional parallel electrode welding head 102 is made of cylindrical tungsten-molybdenum material, and the length is generally about 30mm, and it is difficult to machine a longitudinally elongated through hole on the outer side surface of the hard cylindrical tungsten-molybdenum parallel electrode welding head 102. A more feasible method is to machine through grooves in parallel electrode welding heads. A small part of the processed outermost side of the through groove is closed, and the through groove which closes the outermost side part can also be called a through hole; alternatively, as shown at 405 in fig. 5, the machined through-grooves may not be closed, and therefore, in the present embodiment, it is referred to as providing longitudinal through-holes or through-grooves on the outer side surfaces of the parallel electrode horn.
The operation of fine wire feeding device 300 in the spot welding operation of the present embodiment will be described with reference to fig. 4 and 5. Firstly, a small wheel 302 wound with a thin welding wire 301 is arranged on a bracket 303, a leading-out part of the thin welding wire or a thin welding belt 301 is clamped on a wire clamping small wheel 304, a leading-out end of the thin welding wire penetrates through a through hole or a through groove 405 on a parallel electrode welding head 102, at the moment, the leading-out end of the thin welding wire can be welded through the parallel electrode welding head 102, after a first welding point is welded, the thin welding wire 301 can be pulled to the next welding position by translating a workpiece, and the wire feeding of the thin welding wire by a thin welding wire feeding device 300 is realized.
The following describes mounting of a positioning structure on the tip holder in parallel with the electrode tip arrangement.
The parallel electrode welding heads in the prior art are all cylindrical structures, and the advantages of the cylindrical flat electrode welding heads include that the parallel electrode welding heads are easily installed on a welding head clamp provided with a clamping round hole, and can be in close mutual contact through the parallel electrode welding heads, so that the large current for welding can be favorably passed through. However, when the cylindrical parallel electrode welding head is installed, the installation offset of the parallel electrode welding head is easy to occur, which affects the accurate positioning of the tip of the welding head on a welding piece and the welding quality. In view of the above, the present application proposes mounting a positioning structure on the horn clamp in parallel with the electrode horn arrangement.
Fig. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of a parallel electrode welding head and a welding head clamp with a positioning structure.
As shown in fig. 6, the parallel electrode welding head 102 mounted on the head clamp 105 of the spot welder head 100 is provided with a positioning structure, the positioning structure comprises a protruding positioning body 601 arranged outside the clamping end 403 of the parallel electrode welding head, and a groove 602 adapted to the protruding positioning body 601 is arranged at a corresponding position where the head clamp 105 clamps the parallel electrode welding head 102.
Regarding the structure of the protruding positioning body 601, a part of the positioning body 601 can be embedded between the insulating spacer layer 402 between the two electrodes of the parallel electrode welding head 102, so that the positioning body 601 and the parallel electrode welding head 102 form an integrated structure.
The positioning body 601 can adopt a positioning sheet with a sheet structure; or the small round rod is processed into an L shape, one end of the L-shaped small round rod is embedded into the insulating spacing layer 402 of the parallel electrode welding head, and the other end of the L-shaped small round rod forms a structure like a positioning pin. It will be appreciated that the structure of the spacer 601 is required to ensure that it is insulated from the parallel electrode horn 102.
Alternatively, the positioning body 601 may be configured by installing an insulating sleeve outside the clamping end 403 of the parallel electrode welding head 102, and the insulating sleeve is provided with a positioning piece or a positioning pin protruding out of the parallel electrode welding head 102, so that the configuration of installing the insulating sleeve outside the clamping end 403 of the parallel electrode welding head 102 also falls into the scope of protection of the present embodiment.
The structure of the electrode holder 105 includes a structure in which the positive and negative electrodes are provided on the left and right electrode holders as shown in fig. 2, and a structure in which the positive and negative electrodes are provided on the front and rear electrode holders as shown in fig. 6.
Fig. 6 shows a preferred configuration for providing the protruding locating bodies on the parallel electrode horn: as shown in fig. 6, the protruding positioning body 601 is a U-shaped enameled wire disposed outside the clamping end 403 of the parallel electrode welding head 102, and is configured to embed two ends of the U-shaped enameled wire into the insulating space 402 between the two electrodes of the clamping end 403 of the parallel electrode welding head. With the structure, the U-shaped enameled wire and the parallel electrode welding head form a stable integrated structure.
Since the cylindrical parallel electrode welding head is provided with the protruding positioning body 601, it can be understood that the welding head clamp 105 shown in fig. 6 is provided with the groove 602 adapted to the protruding positioning body at the corresponding position for clamping the parallel electrode welding head 102, and when the protruding positioning body 601 of the parallel electrode welding head 102 is opposite to the groove 602 on the welding head clamp, the parallel electrode welding head 102 can be installed quite centrally.
The spot welder main unit 103 connected to the network will be described in detail below.
The micro-resistance welding spot welding equipment has the advantages that welded workpieces are very tiny, the welding reliability cannot be judged by naked eyes, and meanwhile, the workpieces often relate to the industries of aerospace, military communication, medical treatment and the like, so that a spot welding machine main machine can transmit communication, record storage, monitor and regulate various real-time welding electrical parameters including pulse output energy (J), pulse output current (I), pulse output voltage (V), pulse output time (T) and welding resistance value (R) through a network.
In the prior art, a pulse output power supply of resistance welding spot welding equipment is mostly in a constant current regulation and control mode, and the resistance welding spot welding equipment is generally provided with a current sensor for detecting the pulse output current, so that the constant current regulation and control pulse output power supply can realize welding operation only by presetting the pulse output current (I) and the welding time (T). However, the prior art resistance pad welding apparatus does not have the need for a network connection in this respect because the pulsed output power source with constant current regulation does not read the real-time welding electrical parameters described above.
The electrical parameter of the pulse output energy (J) is the most important electrical parameter for determining the quality of the weld, and relates to Joule's law J ═ I2RT, in other words, joule's law is that a pulsed output current I is passed through the work piece, and at a set time (T), the resistance (R) between the metal of the work piece generates heat (J). Therefore, to obtain the electrical parameters of the real-time pulse output energy J, in addition to the value of the pulse output current (I) and the value of the pulse output time (T), the real-time welding resistance value (R) must be obtained.
The real-time welding resistance value (R) is the contact resistance value between two electrodes and the welded piece, and also has two welded pieces, because the factor that influences the contact resistance value is many, including unpredictable electrode strength size, unpredictable electrode temperature variation etc. consequently, to how to obtain real-time welding resistance value (R), is the technological problem in resistance welding field always.
The parallel electrode welding head applied to the micro resistance welding spot welding equipment comprises a welding head with two electrodes connected at the tip end of the welding head or a parallel electrode welding head with two electrodes in ohmic contact at the tip end of the welding head. During welding, the tip of the welding head has a relatively fixed resistance value (R), electric sparks are generated when current passes through the welding head, on one hand, the exposed metal wire of the insulating layer on the welded piece (enameled wire) is burnt out, and then, under the action of electrode force, welding current enters the two welded pieces to realize resistance welding.
The inventors of the present application found that the pulse output energy generated by the intrinsic resistance of the tip of the welding head of the above-described welding head tip integrated type or ohmic contact type parallel electrode welding head during welding is the pulse output energy generated during welding of a weldment, and the inventors reached this conclusion through the following experiments.
Experiment I, a welding head tip ohmic contact type parallel electrode welding head (R1) is used, the resistance value of a normal temperature R1 tip is detected to be 8.0m omega by a micro-ohm meter, R1 is installed on a micro resistance welding spot welding machine, and three welding parameters are preset:
pulse output voltage V1 is 1.0V, pulse output time T1 is 10ms, electrode force F1 is 5N (20OZ), a phi 0.08mm enameled wire is subjected to spot welding on an iron-nickel substrate at a normal temperature state, a reliable welding effect can be obtained, and detected pulse output current I is 125A;
then, at normal temperature and without changing the three welding parameters, the parallel electrode welding head R1 does not perform spot welding on the weldment but turns on the welding current in the air (called as idle welding, the same applies hereinafter), and at this time, the detected pulse output current is 125A;
subsequently, at normal temperature, only changing preset pulse output voltage V1 to 0.8V, keeping pulse output time T1 and electrode force F1 unchanged, performing spot welding on a phi 0.08mm enameled wire on a wire substrate by using a parallel electrode welding head R1, and detecting pulse output current I to 100A;
then, the parallel electrode horn R1 was idle welded at room temperature without changing the above three preset sets of welding parameters, and the pulse output current I was detected to be 100A in the same manner.
Experiment two, with a welding head tip integrated parallel electrode welding head (R2), the resistance value of a normal temperature R2 tip is 3.0m omega through a micro-ohm meter detection, R2 is installed on a micro resistance welding spot welding machine, and three welding parameters are preset:
the pulse output voltage V2 is 1.2V, the pulse output time T2 is 10ms, the electrode force F2 is 5N (20OZ), the enamelled wire with the diameter of 0.08mm is spot-welded on the iron-nickel substrate in a normal temperature state, the reliable welding effect can be obtained, and the detected pulse output current I is 400A;
then, at normal temperature and without changing the three welding parameters, the parallel electrode welding head R2 does not perform spot welding on the weldment but connects the welding current in the air (called blank welding, the same applies hereinafter), and at this time, the detected pulse output current is 400A;
subsequently, at normal temperature, only changing preset pulse output voltage V2 to 1.0V, keeping pulse output time T2 and electrode force F2 unchanged, performing spot welding on a phi 0.08mm enameled wire on a wire substrate by using a parallel electrode welding head R2, and detecting pulse output current I to 333A;
next, the parallel electrode horn R2 was empty-welded at room temperature without changing the above three preset sets of welding parameters, and the pulse output current I was similarly 333A.
It should be noted that, in the above experiment, the two parallel electrode welding heads were tested by soaking in cold water, and therefore, it can be considered that the temperatures of the two parallel electrode welding heads in each experiment are the same.
Summarizing the two experiments and the experimental results, the two parallel electrode welding heads comprise reliable welding and poor welding, and the real-time pulse output currents of the welding and the idle welding are completely the same; because the welding head tip is tested in a normal temperature state, the resistance value of the welding head tip is not changed, according to the Joule law, the real-time pulse output energy of the tests can be calculated, and the welding head tip connection or the welding head tip ohmic contact type parallel electrode welding head is disclosed, wherein the inherent resistance value of the welding head tip is the resistance value during welding. The experimental result solves the technical problem that the resistance welding cannot detect the real-time welding resistance value, and provides possibility for the micro resistance welding spot welding equipment to read various real-time welding electrical parameters.
Based on the pulse output power supply, the invention provides a pulse output power supply set by a spot welding machine host, which is a constant-voltage regulated pulse output power supply.
Fig. 7 is a schematic block diagram of a constant voltage pulse output power supply.
