Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of wireless communication technologies, and in particular, to a method for controlling a transmission rate of a terminal, a base station, and a core network device.
Background
An Average Maximum Bit Rate (AMBR) of a User Equipment (UE) is an average Maximum Bit Rate allocated to the UE by a core network, and an Aggregate Maximum Bit Rate of a Packet Data Unit (PDU) Session (Session) is a Maximum Bit Rate configured by the core network for a certain PDU Session of the UE. And the base station performs flow control on the transmission rate of the UE according to the two parameters.
38.413, when there is PDU session resource setup in the initial context setup request message, the AMBR of the UE is carried. Currently, PDU session resources are generally established by a terminal actively initiating different service types, but at present, it often occurs that the terminal does not need to establish a PDU session for a UE when initiating a registration procedure, and then an initial context establishment request message sent by a core network to a base station does not include an AMBR of the UE; when a plurality of PDU sessions are established in subsequent UE, the core network configures AMBR for each PDU session, when the base station performs flow control on the transmission rate of the UE, the AMBR of each PDU session is summed, the value obtained by summation is used as the AMBR of the UE, and the base station controls the transmission rate of the UE according to the AMBR of the UE obtained by summation. It should be noted that the above system architecture is only an example of the system architecture applicable to the embodiment of the present invention, and the system architecture applicable to the embodiment of the present invention may also add other entities or reduce part of the entities compared to the system architecture shown in fig. 1.
In the embodiment of the invention, when the base station controls the transmission rate of the UE, the AMBR information based on the UE is controlled.
The AMBR information of the UE may be subscription data of an operator, or the AMBR information of the UE may be non-subscription data of the operator.
When the AMBR information of the UE is subscription data of the operator, the AMBR information of each UE is fixed, that is, the operator allocates a fixed AMBR to each UE in advance; when the AMBR information of the UE is the non-subscription data of the operator, the AMBR information of each UE is not fixed, and the core network device may allocate appropriate AMBR information to each UE according to the actual situation of the UE.
The following describes a manner of controlling the transmission rate of the terminal according to the embodiment of the present invention, respectively, with respect to whether the AMBR information of the UE is subscription data.
Firstly, AMBR information of the UE is non-subscription data of an operator.
In the following description, the description is first performed from the core network device side and the base station side, and finally, the description is performed from the core network device side and the base station side, respectively, but this does not mean that the two are necessarily performed in cooperation, and actually, when the core network device side and the base station side are separately performed, the problems existing at the core network device side and the base station side are also solved, and only when the two are used in combination, a better technical effect is obtained.
As shown in fig. 2, a system for controlling a terminal transmission rate according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a base station 20 and a core network device 21;
a base station 20, configured to receive a first request message that includes AMBR information of a UE and is sent by a core network device; and controlling the transmission rate of the UE according to the received AMBR information of the UE.
A core network device 21, configured to determine AMBR information allocated to the UE; and sending a first request message containing AMBR information of the UE to a base station accessed by the UE, so that the base station controls the transmission rate of the UE according to the received AMBR information of the UE.
Wherein the first request message is a message related to a PDU session of the UE.
The core network device may send one or more first request messages to the base station; after the base station receives a plurality of first request messages containing AMBR information of the UE, which are sent by the core network equipment, the base station controls the transmission rate of the UE according to the latest received AMBR information of the UE.
Since the AMBR information of the UE is the non-subscription data of the operator in this case, the core network may adjust the AMBR information of the UE; when the base station receives the plurality of first request messages, AMBR information of the UE carried in the plurality of first request messages may be different.
Optionally, the first request message in the embodiment of the present invention includes:
a PDU session establishment request message for establishing a PDU session of the UE;
a PDU session modification request message for modifying a PDU session of the UE;
a PDU session release request message for releasing the PDU session of the UE.
After receiving a PDU session request sent by UE through a base station, core network equipment sends a PDU session establishment request message to the base station;
in implementation, the UE sends a PDU session request to the base station, and the base station forwards the PDU session request to the core network equipment; in an alternative mode, the PDU session request sent by the UE to the base station is an NAS message.
Optionally, when the first request message is a PDU session establishment request message, the PDU session establishment request message includes but is not limited to:
AMBR information of the UE, AMBR information of the PDU session.
In implementation, the core network device determines AMBR information allocated to the UE according to the following manner:
and the core network equipment determines AMBR information distributed to the UE according to the number of the PDU sessions of the UE and the service type corresponding to the PDU sessions.
Specifically, when the UE establishes only one PDU session, the core network device uses the AMBR value of the PDU session of the UE as AMBR information of the UE;
when the UE establishes the PDU sessions of a plurality of data services, the PDU session of each data service corresponds to the AMBR value of one PDU session, the core network equipment determines the AMBR value of the smallest PDU session from the PDU sessions of the plurality of data services established by the UE, and determines the AMBR information of the UE according to the AMBR value of the smallest PDU session and the number of the PDU sessions of the data services of the UE; and if the UE is also established as the voice PDU session, adding the AMBR value of the voice PDU session on the basis of the AMBR value of the UE determined according to the PDU session of the data service, and taking the calculated sum value as the AMBR information of the UE.
For example, assuming that the UE establishes N PDU sessions for data services, each PDU session for data services corresponds to an AMBR of one PDU session, and selects an AMBR of the PDU session with the smallest value from the AMBRs of the N PDU sessions, where the AMBR of the PDU session with the smallest value is assumed to be X; then the AMBR of the UE is X × N; if the UE also establishes the voice PDU session, the AMBR of the voice PDU session is directly added to the calculation result.
It should be noted that the above manner in which the core network device determines the AMBR information of the UE is merely exemplary, and the core network device in the embodiment of the present invention may also use other manners for determining the AMBR information of the UE, for example, any manner that the existing core network device determines the AMBR information of the UE in the prior art may be used, which is not limited in this embodiment of the present invention.
After a base station receives a PDU session establishment request message which is sent by core network equipment and contains AMBR information of UE, the base station stores the AMBR information of the UE contained in the PDU session establishment request message in context information of the UE; and if the AMBR information of the UE is stored in the context information of the UE, the base station updates the AMBR information of the UE stored in the context of the UE to the latest received AMBR information of the UE.
In addition, the base station stores AMBR information of the PDU session included in the PDU session setup request message in the context information of the UE.
When the core network equipment determines that at least one PDU session of the UE needs to be modified, a PDU session modification request message is sent to the base station;
the core network equipment re-determines the AMBR information of the UE according to the modified PDU session of the UE; the method for determining the AMBR information of the UE by the core network device may refer to the method described above, and is not described in detail herein.
Optionally, the PDU session modification request message includes but is not limited to:
AMBR information of the UE and AMBR information of the PDU session;
and the AMBR information of the UE and the AMBR information of the PDU session carried in the PDU session modification request message are re-determined by the core network equipment according to the modified PDU session of the UE.
After a base station receives a PDU session modification request message which is sent by core network equipment and contains AMBR information of UE, the base station stores the AMBR information of the UE contained in the PDU session modification request message in context information of the UE; specifically, the AMBR information of the UE stored in the context of the UE is updated to the latest received AMBR information of the UE.
In addition, the base station stores AMBR information of the PDU session included in the PDU session modification request message in the context information of the UE.
When the core network equipment determines that at least one PDU session of the UE needs to be released, sending a PDU session release request message to the base station;
the core network equipment re-determines the AMBR information of the UE according to the released PDU session of the UE; the method for determining the AMBR information of the UE by the core network device may refer to the method described above, and is not described in detail herein.
Optionally, the PDU session release request message includes but is not limited to:
AMBR information of the UE and AMBR information of the PDU session;
and the AMBR information of the UE and the AMBR information of the PDU session carried in the PDU session release request message are re-determined by the core network equipment according to the released PDU session of the UE.
After a base station receives a PDU session release request message which is sent by core network equipment and contains AMBR information of UE, the base station stores the AMBR information of the UE contained in the PDU session release request message in context information of the UE; specifically, the AMBR information of the UE stored in the context of the UE is updated to the latest received AMBR information of the UE.
In addition, the base station stores AMBR information of the PDU session included in the PDU session release request message in the context information of the UE.
According to the control method of the terminal transmission rate provided by the embodiment of the invention, after the core network equipment determines that the AMBR information allocated to the UE changes, the changed AMBR information of the UE can be sent to the base station, so that the base station can dynamically control the transmission rate of the UE.
It should be noted that, in the first request message sent by the core network device to the base station in the embodiment of the present invention, not all the first request messages need to carry AMBR information of the UE; an optional implementation manner is that, after determining that the AMBR information allocated to the UE changes, the core network device sends a first request message to the base station, and then carries the changed AMBR information of the UE in the first request message; if the core network device determines that the AMBR information allocated to the UE does not change, the first request message sent by the core network device to the base station may not carry the AMBR information of the UE.
Another optional implementation manner is that the initial context request message sent by the core network device to the base station carries AMBR information of the UE;
optionally, the core network device receives a registration request or a service request sent by the UE; transmitting an initial context request message including AMBR information of the UE to the base station.
Correspondingly, after receiving an initial context request message which is sent by core network equipment and contains the AMBR information of the UE, the base station stores the AMBR information of the UE contained in the initial context request message in the context information of the UE.
The following describes a procedure for controlling a terminal transmission rate according to an embodiment of the present invention, with reference to fig. 3, in which a first request message is taken as a PDU session establishment request message as an example.
Step 301, UE initiates a registration request/service request;
step 302, a base station sends an initial UE message to core network equipment;
wherein, the initial UE message contains a registration request or a service request sent by the UE;
step 303, the core network device sends an initial context establishment request message to the base station;
when the initial context request message carries the AMBR information of the UE, step 304 is executed, and when the initial context request message does not carry the AMBR information of the UE, step 305 is directly executed;
step 304, the base station stores AMBR information of the UE in the context information of the UE;
step 305, the base station sends an air interface message to the terminal to complete a subsequent registration flow/service request flow;
step 306, the terminal initiates a PDU session request;
