Abstract
The invention discloses a key capable of switching display characters, which comprises a key cap, scissor legs, an elastic element, a circuit board, a bottom plate and a backlight module arranged below the bottom plate, and is characterized in that different character holes are formed in the key cap, different light-transmitting films are arranged on the key cap, and each light-transmitting film corresponds to each character hole; the light-transmitting film selectively transmits monochromatic light. According to the invention, the switching display of different characters can be realized only by arranging one light source, and various operation functions of the keys can be realized through the switching of different characters, so that the use experience of a user can be improved; the key of the invention has simple structure and better display effect, and saves the cost of the keyboard and the total energy consumption.

Technical Field
The invention relates to a key capable of switching display characters.
Background
At present, most of the keys of the keyboard are printed characters, and the characters are worn and fall off after long-term use. The backlight keyboard has been proposed to solve the above problems, but some of the keys having a backlight function can display only a single character, or, although there are a plurality of characters, the plurality of characters can be displayed simultaneously and cannot be switched. For example, for a small computer, the keyboard span is small, and it is impossible to display what state is currently in, and the use experience is not good. For another example, for a keyboard with multiple functions on the same key, the key characters cannot be switched and displayed, and the user cannot determine the current state, so that the user experience is greatly reduced.

The light source is an RGB-L ED lamp.
The light source of the backlight module is direct-projection type. And a light source is arranged in the backlight module corresponding to each key. And a light source is arranged in the backlight module corresponding to each character.
The light source of the backlight module is of a side-in type, and the backlight module further comprises a light guide plate.
Has the advantages that: compared with the prior art, the invention has the following remarkable advantages: according to the invention, the switching display of different characters can be realized only by arranging one light source, and various operation functions of the keys can be realized through the switching of different characters, so that the use experience of a user can be improved; the key of the invention has simple structure and better display effect, and saves the cost of the keyboard and the total energy consumption.

The technical scheme of the invention is further explained by combining the attached drawings.
As shown in fig. 1, the conventional key structure with backlight includes a key cap 1, an outer scissors frame 2, an inner scissors frame 3, an elastic element 7, a circuit board 4, a bottom plate 5 and a backlight module 6, wherein the key cap 1 is provided with a character hole, and a character display function can be realized through the backlight module. The invention is improved based on the traditional key structure, and can realize the switching display of different characters.
As shown in fig. 2, a key cap 1 according to a first embodiment of the present invention includes an outermost UV layer 11, a key cap body 13 inside the UV layer, a light shielding layer 12, and a light transmissive film 14 disposed inside the key cap.
The light shielding layer 12 is provided with a character hole 120, in the embodiment, the light shielding layer 12 is disposed between the UV layer 11 and the key cap body 13, and the light shielding layer 12 is a paint coating layer for shielding the light source, so that the light can only pass through the character hole 120. In this embodiment, there are two characters, which are disposed on the left and right sides of the key cap in parallel. The light shielding layer 12 may be made of other materials capable of shielding light, and the light shielding layer 12 may be provided on the inner surface of the key cap body 13.
In this embodiment, the key cap body 13 is made of a transparent material. When the key cap body 13 is made of opaque material, the key cap 1 may not be provided with a light shielding layer, and the character holes are formed in the key cap body 13.
The light-transmitting film 14 is a monochromatic light-transmitting film, and selectively transmits monochromatic light. In this embodiment, the transparent film 14 is disposed on the inner surface of the key cap body 13, and a first transparent film 141 and a second transparent film 142 are disposed at positions corresponding to the left and right characters, respectively, and the first transparent film 141 and the second transparent film 142 can allow light of different colors to pass through. The light-transmitting film 14 can also be arranged between the light-shielding layer and the keycap, when the keycap main body 13 is made of light-tight material, the light-transmitting film is arranged on the inner surface of the keycap main body 13, and different light-transmitting films correspond to different character holes on the main body one by one.
An inner scissors frame and an outer scissors frame are arranged below the key cap 1, two ends of the inner scissors frame and the outer scissors frame are respectively connected with the key cap 1 and the bottom plate 5, an elastic element 7 is arranged in the center of the inner scissors frame and the center of the outer scissors frame, and the mechanism is used for supporting the key cap to complete pressing and restoring actions.
The circuit board 4, the bottom plate 5 and the backlight module 6 are sequentially arranged below the elastic element 7 from top to bottom. Openings are arranged on the circuit board 4 and the bottom plate 5 corresponding to the positions of the character holes 120, so that light rays of a backlight module light source can pass through.
In this embodiment, the light source of the backlight module 6 is direct-type, that is, the light source is disposed right under the character hole, and each of the light sources is provided with a plurality of light sources, the number of the light sources corresponds to the number of the characters, the light sources can be monochromatic lights with different colors respectively, the backlight module 6 can also be provided with a main light source, and the light source can be an RGB-L ED light source or other similar light sources capable of realizing light color separation.
In another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in fig. 3, in this embodiment, the backlight module is of a side-in type, the light source 61 is disposed at one side of the key cap, the backlight module is further provided with a light guide plate 62 and a light focusing member, light is distributed over the entire light guide plate, and the display of characters is realized by light focusing, and the light source 61 is an RGB-L ED light source or other similar light sources capable of realizing light color separation.
Compared with a side-in backlight module, the direct-illumination backlight module in the first embodiment of the invention has more advantages, the display effect is brighter, the switching is easier to realize, and more importantly, a light guide plate and a light gathering piece are not required to be arranged, so that the overall thickness is reduced, and the keyboard cost and the energy consumption are reduced.

when the backlight module is not bright, the display effect of the invention is shown in fig. 4, the character is not displayed, especially when the main body of the keycap 1 is black, the character and the keycap 1 are black, when the character A is required to be displayed, the display effect is shown in fig. 5(1), the display principle is shown in fig. 5(2), the light source of the backlight module emits monochromatic light which is allowed to pass through by the first light-transmitting film 141 on the left side, although the light also irradiates on the second light-transmitting film 142 on the right side, the character B is not displayed because the monochromatic light cannot penetrate through the second light-transmitting film 142, when the character B is required to be displayed, the display effect is shown in fig. 6(1), the display principle is shown in fig. 6(2), the light source of the backlight module emits monochromatic light which is allowed to pass through by the second light-transmitting film on the right side, although the light also irradiates on the first light-transmitting film 141 on the left side, the monochromatic light cannot penetrate through the second light-transmitting film 142 alone, so that the character A is not displayed, when the light source of the backlight module is required to be displayed simultaneously, the light source can be switched to the light source which can be used in the conventional light source L or other light sources.
Claims (8)
1. A key capable of switching display characters comprises a key cap (1), scissor legs, an elastic element (7), a circuit board (4), a bottom plate (5) and a backlight module (6) arranged below the bottom plate, and is characterized in that different character holes (120) and different light-transmitting films (14) are arranged on the key cap (1), and each light-transmitting film corresponds to each character hole; the different light-transmitting films (14) are capable of transmitting different monochromatic lights.
2. The key of claim 1, wherein the light-transmitting film (14) is disposed on an inner surface of the key cap (1).

7. The key of claim 5, wherein a light source is disposed in the backlight module (6) corresponding to each character.
8. The key of claim 1, wherein the light source of the backlight module (6) is of a side-in type, and the backlight module further comprises a light guide plate (62).
