the first resistance line 1 and the second resistance line 2 are connected in series and connected to a display panel driving chip 3, and a connection point between the first resistance line 1 and the second resistance line 2 is a crack detection point 5.
The first resistance line and the second resistance line that will be used for detecting in this application all set up on display panel, and first resistance line and second resistance line all adopt the same technology to prepare, if the technology influences the resistance of resistance line, the resistance difference of two resistance lines is the same or close in this embodiment, fine having avoided because the difference of production technology leads to the resistance difference different, the phenomenon of the crack detection function misjudgement that further leads to, the improvement crack detection's that can be very big rate of accuracy.
Further, the display panel 4 includes a display area and a non-display area, and the first resistance line 1, the second resistance line 2 and the driving chip 3 are disposed in the non-display area of the display panel.
As shown in fig. 1, the display panel includes a display area and a non-display area, the non-display area is generally disposed around the display area, wherein an area within an imaginary line in fig. 1 is the display area, an area outside the imaginary line is the non-display area, the first resistance line and the second resistance line are disposed in the non-display area, the display of the display panel is not affected, the second resistance line is disposed along a circumferential direction of the display panel and is disposed around the display area, and if a crack occurs in the display substrate during the panel manufacturing process, the second resistance line may also be broken due to the generation of the crack, so that an electrical parameter of the second resistance line changes.
Furthermore, the display panel driving chip is arranged at one end of the display panel, one port of the driving chip is connected to the first resistance line, and the other port of the driving chip is connected to the second resistance line.
In this embodiment, the first resistance line and the second resistance line are connected to the driving chip, and the driving chip supplies a voltage to the first resistance line and the second resistance line.
Further, the first resistance line is arranged on one side of the display panel close to the driving chip. In this embodiment, the second resistance line needs to be arranged around the display area of the display panel, and therefore, the first resistance line arranged on the display panel cannot affect the routing of the second resistance line, and the first resistance line is arranged on the side close to the driving chip, so that the routing of the first resistance line is completed in a small range as much as possible.
Furthermore, the second resistance lines are at least arranged on three sides of the display panel where the driving chip is not arranged.
In this embodiment, the first resistance lines are arranged on the periphery of the display panel, and arranged around the display area as much as possible, and arranged on at least three sides, as shown in fig. 1, since one side of the display panel close to the driving chip is not easily damaged during the preparation process, the second resistance lines are arranged on the left and right sides and the lower side of the display panel shown in fig. 1, and the second resistance lines are not arranged on one side close to the driving chip, so that the detection of whether the display panel has cracks or not can be realized; furthermore, the second resistance lines can be arranged around the whole display area, so that the crack detection of the display panel is more accurate.
Further, the crack detection point is connected to the display panel driving chip.
In the present embodiment, the crack detection of the display panel is performed by detecting the voltage at the point V1 between the first resistance line and the second resistance line, and the crack detection point is connected to the driving circuit to perform the voltage value detection.
The embodiment also provides a display panel comprising the crack detection circuit.
The embodiment also provides a display panel crack detection method, which adopts the crack detection circuit to detect.
The detection method in this embodiment adopts the detection circuit, wherein the first resistance line and the second resistance line are both disposed on the display panel, specifically disposed in the non-display area of the display panel, and both the first resistance line and the second resistance line are disposed on the same panel while the display effect of the display panel is not affected, so that the first resistance line and the second resistance line are prepared in the panel preparation process.
Further, the detection method comprises the following steps: and detecting the voltage value of a crack detection point between the first resistance wire and the second resistance wire, and judging whether the voltage value of the crack detection point is a set range value.
The voltage value of the crack detection point is detected to judge whether the display panel has cracks or not, the voltage detection method is simple, and the condition of the display panel can be accurately and effectively judged.
Go toThe detection method comprises the following specific steps: supplying a voltage V0 to the first resistance line R1 and the second resistance line R2, and detecting whether the voltage value V1 at the crack detection point satisfies the following condition:
Figure BDA0002537111420000041
as shown in fig. 2, it is a PCD detection circuit diagram in this embodiment, wherein the first resistor and the second resistor are both disposed on the display panel, and their resistance values are different, wherein a voltage at a point V1 between the first resistor and the second resistor is monitored by way of resistor voltage division, and the voltage at the point V1 is the voltage at the point V1
Figure BDA0002537111420000042
In order to make the determination simpler, the resistance values of the first resistor and the second resistor are set to be the same, and detection is required
Figure BDA0002537111420000043
Judging whether the V1 value meets the above condition, the V1 value may be changed due to the limitation of other conditions such as the prior art, but still remains
Figure BDA0002537111420000044
Since the voltage V1 varies left and right, it can be determined that the display panel is not broken if V1 satisfies the set range.
The method eliminates the condition that the resistance value deviation of the first resistor and the second resistor is different due to different production processes, well avoids the phenomenon of PCD misjudgment, and greatly improves the production yield of a production line.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the application and is illustrative of the principles of the technology employed.
