Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
The technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure relates to a terminal, which can be a mobile phone, a tablet personal computer, a smart watch and other devices with an underscreen fingerprint identification function. Taking a mobile phone as an example, when a user needs to unlock the mobile phone or perform fingerprint payment, the user can place a finger on a screen of the mobile phone. And if the mobile phone determines that the finger of the user is placed in the effective fingerprint identification area, lightening the touch screen corresponding to the effective fingerprint identification area, and facilitating fingerprint identification. However, the effective fingerprint identification area is large, the finger of the user is difficult to completely cover, and when the ambient brightness is low, the light emitted from the part which is not covered by the finger of the user may stimulate the eyes of the user, so that the user experience is poor. In the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the terminal can determine the lighting area of the screen when performing fingerprint identification under the screen according to the area of the overlapping area of the contact area between the object performing fingerprint identification and the screen and the effective area of fingerprint identification, because the area of the lighting area is smaller than or equal to the area of the overlapping area, when the lighting area is lighted, the object on the screen can be shielded by the light emitted by the lighting area, and then the situation that the light emitted by the lighting area stimulates the eyes of the user under the condition of darker ambient brightness is avoided, and the user experience is improved.
Fig. 1a is a flowchart illustrating a method for determining a lighting area when performing fingerprint recognition under a screen, which is applied to a terminal, according to an exemplary embodiment, and includes the following steps 101 to 103, as shown in fig. 1 a:
in step 101, a contact area between an object placed on a screen and the screen is determined.
For example, the screen may be a touch screen provided in the terminal, and the object may be any object with surface texture, and preferably, the object may be a finger of a user.
When the user needs to perform fingerprint recognition, e.g. to perform an unlock or a fingerprint payment, a finger may be placed on the screen. Because the screen is a touch screen, when a user finger is placed on the screen, the user finger and the surface of the touch screen form a coupling capacitor, and each contact point between the user finger and the touch screen can suck a current from the touch screen through the coupling capacitor. The current absorbed by each contact point respectively flows out of the electrodes on the four corners of the touch screen, and the current flowing through the four electrodes is in direct proportion to the distances from the contact points to the four corners. At the moment, the processor of the terminal can obtain the position of each contact point by accurately calculating the four current proportions, and the contact area between the finger of the user and the touch screen can be formed by combining a plurality of contact points.
In step 102, the area of the overlapping area of the contact area and the effective fingerprint identification area is obtained, wherein the effective fingerprint identification area is an area with an off-screen fingerprint identification function on a screen.
In an example, a fingerprint identification module is arranged below a touch screen of the terminal, and an area on the touch screen corresponding to the fingerprint identification module is a fingerprint identification effective area, that is, the fingerprint identification effective area of the terminal is a known and fixed area of the terminal. After determining the contact area between the finger of the user and the touch screen, the terminal may compare the contact area with the fingerprint identification effective area, and then determine an overlapping area of the two areas, thereby determining the area of the overlapping area.
In step 103, a lighting area of the screen when performing the underscreen fingerprint recognition is determined according to the area of the overlap area, and the area of the lighting area is smaller than or equal to the area of the overlap area.
For example, a preset range may be preset for defining the maximum value and the minimum value of the area of the overlapping area in the case where fingerprint recognition is possible. If the area of the overlap region is within the predetermined range, a part or all of the overlap region may be set as a lighting region, that is, the area of the lighting region is smaller than or equal to the area of the overlap region. With all setting up the overlap area to the area of lightening as an example, the terminal can lighten the touch screen that this overlap area corresponds this moment, produces the light source when carrying out fingerprint identification to the fingerprint identification module that this fingerprint identification effective area below set up can acquire the fingerprint information that gets into all user's fingers of this fingerprint identification effective area, and then carries out fingerprint identification according to this fingerprint information. Because more fingerprint information is acquired, the success rate of fingerprint identification is higher. In practical application, the terminal can set a part of the overlapping area as a lighting area, and after the lighting area is lighted, the terminal only illuminates the part which can meet the fingerprint identification on the finger of the user entering the effective fingerprint identification area, so that the power consumption of the terminal is reduced under the condition of ensuring the fingerprint identification, and the standby time of the terminal is prolonged.
Specifically, if the area of the overlapping area is within the preset range and the area is large, it indicates that most of the contact area between the user finger and the touch screen is within the fingerprint identification effective area, and at this time, the overlapping area is used as a lighting area, so that the user finger entering the fingerprint identification effective area can be ensured to be lighted up, and the fingerprint identification module can acquire the fingerprint information of the user finger entering the fingerprint identification effective area according to the reflected light of the user finger. Meanwhile, due to the fact that the fingers of the user are shielded, the light rays emitted by the lighting area can be prevented from stimulating the eyes of the user, and the user experience is improved while the fingerprint identification is met.
If the area of the overlapping area is within the preset range and the area is smaller, it is indicated that a small part of the contact area between the user finger and the touch screen is within the effective fingerprint identification area, but because the area of the overlapping area is larger than the minimum value limited by the preset range, the fingerprint information carried by the user finger entering the effective fingerprint identification area can be ensured to be enough for the fingerprint identification module to carry out fingerprint identification, at the moment, the overlapping area can be used as a lighting area to ensure that the user finger entering the effective fingerprint identification area is lighted, and the fingerprint identification module can acquire the fingerprint information of the user finger entering the effective fingerprint identification area according to the reflected light of the user finger. Meanwhile, due to the shielding of the fingers of the user, the light rays emitted by the lighting area can be prevented from stimulating the eyes of the user.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 1b, in step 103, determining a lighting area of the screen when performing the fingerprint identification under the screen according to the area of the overlapping area may be implemented by step 1031:
in step 1031, if the area of the overlap region is less than or equal to the first area threshold, the setting of the lighting region is prohibited.
For example, a first area threshold may be preset, where the first area threshold is used to define a minimum value of the area of the overlapping region, and optionally, the first area threshold may be a minimum value defined by the above preset range, or smaller than the minimum value defined by the preset range. If the area of the overlapping area is smaller than or equal to the first area threshold, it is indicated that the fingerprint information carried by the user finger entering the fingerprint identification effective area is too little, and if a lighting area is set at the moment, the fingerprint information of the user finger acquired by the fingerprint identification module is difficult to perform fingerprint identification, so that the lighting area can not be set at the moment, and the waste of terminal computing resources caused by triggering a fingerprint identification process is avoided.
Optionally, when it is determined that the area of the overlapping area is smaller than or equal to the first area threshold, the terminal may further display a prompt message, where the prompt message is used to prompt the user to move the object in the direction indicated by the prompt message. For example, if the overlapping area is located on the right side of the fingerprint identification valid area and the area of the overlapping area is smaller than or equal to the first area threshold, the terminal may display a word "please move the finger to the left" on the screen. After the user refers to the prompt message, the user can move the user's hand to the left according to the indication of the prompt message, so that most or all of the contact area between the user's finger and the touch screen moves into the fingerprint identification effective area. At this time, the terminal can determine the overlapping area of the contact area and the effective fingerprint identification area again, if the area of the overlapping area is within the preset range, the overlapping area can be used as a lighting area, and the fingerprint identification process is completed; if the area of the overlapped area is still smaller than or equal to the first area threshold, prompt information can be continuously displayed to indicate the user to move the finger.
In the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, if the overlapping area is smaller, it is described that most of the contact area between the object and the screen is located outside the fingerprint identification effective area, that is, the fingerprint identification effective area is difficult to acquire enough lines on the surface of the object for fingerprint identification, and at this time, the lighting area is forbidden to be set, so that the fingerprint identification process can be prevented from being started by the terminal, further, the waste of terminal resources is avoided, and the standby time of the terminal is prolonged.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 1c, in step 103, determining a lighting area of the screen when performing the off-screen fingerprint recognition according to the area of the overlapping area may be implemented by step 1032:
in step 1032, if the area of the overlapped area is greater than or equal to the second area threshold, the fingerprint identification valid area is set as a lighting area.
For example, a second area threshold may be preset, where the second area threshold is used to define a maximum value of the area of the overlapping region, and specifically, the first area threshold may be a maximum value defined by the preset range, or may also be an area of the effective region for the fingerprint identification.
If the area of the overlapping area is greater than or equal to the second area threshold, it indicates that the area of the contact area between the finger of the user and the touch screen is larger, and at this time, the effective fingerprint identification area may be set as a lighting area, that is, the terminal may light the touch screen corresponding to the entire effective fingerprint identification area. On one hand, even if the finger of the user does not completely shield the effective fingerprint identification area, the unblocked area is small, and the possibility that the light rays emitted by the unblocked area stimulate the eyes of the user is small. On the other hand, set up whole fingerprint identification effective area as the region of lighting up, can guarantee to light up whole user's finger that gets into in this fingerprint identification effective area, including the side of user's finger for fingerprint identification module can gather comparatively clear and abundant fingerprint information and carry out fingerprint identification, and the fingerprint information's that gathers integrity is higher, and then makes fingerprint identification's the degree of accuracy higher.
In the technical scheme that this disclosed embodiment provided, if the overlap area is great, the condition that the contact area between this object and the screen covers the fingerprint identification effective area almost can appear, can set up the fingerprint identification effective area to the region of lighting up this moment, has improved fingerprint information acquisition's integrity, and then has improved fingerprint identification's degree of accuracy.
