Background
In the process of constructing the pipe joints of the immersed tube tunnel with the deep-medium channel, the head end and the tail end of each pipe joint are respectively provided with a steel end shell, the steel end shells penetrate through the pipe joints, rubber water stops are installed on the steel end shells, and the pipe joints are prevented from being connected with the water by compressing the rubber water stops between the two pipe joints after being sunk to the seabed, so that the installation precision requirement of the steel end shells is high.
The steel end shells at the head end and the tail end of each pipe joint are annular belts with the outer length of 45.94 m, the outer width of 10.6 m and the height of 0.65 m, the steel end shells have inclination, and the flatness requirement of the steel end shells is not more than 5 mm. In the prior art, the welding and clamping of the pipe joints are generally adopted for assistance, so that the working strength of constructors is high, and the requirement on the installation precision of a steel end shell is difficult to meet.
