The specific meanings of the above terms in the present invention can be understood in specific cases to those skilled in the art.
The battery cover 100, the battery 1000, and the vehicle according to the embodiment of the invention are described below with reference to fig. 1 to 13.
As shown in fig. 3 and 5, according to the battery cap plate 100 of the embodiment of the present invention, the battery cap plate 100 includes: a cap main body 10, a first electrode 21, a second electrode 22, and an air chamber 223 communicating with the gas inside the battery 1000.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 1 to 4, the cap main body 10 has a connection portion 110, the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22 are respectively provided on the cap main body 10, and the first electrode 21 is electrically connected to the connection portion 110. It should be noted that the first electrode 21 may be directly electrically connected to the cover main body 10 to realize the electrical connection between the first electrode 21 and the connection portion 110; the connection position of the first electrode 21 and the cap main body 10 may be in insulation fit, and the first electrode 21 is electrically connected to the connection portion 110 through a tab. The first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22 are electrically connected to the battery cell 40 of the battery 1000, and the battery 1000 may be electrically connected to other components through the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22. The first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22 may be a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the battery 1000.
The air chamber 223 includes sidewalls disposed in the up-down direction. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the "up-down direction" described herein may be understood as the inward-outward direction of the battery cap plate 100. The side wall provided with the air cavity 223 extends along the up-down direction, so that the fixed connection of the side wall of the air cavity 223 is facilitated, the occupied space of the air cavity 223 can be reduced, and the structure of the battery cover plate 100 is more compact and reasonable.
At least part of the side wall is the deformable member 222, that is, the side wall of the air cavity 223 may be entirely formed as the deformable member 222, and the side wall of the air cavity 223 may also be partially formed as the deformable member 222. It should be noted that the "deformable element 222" described herein can be understood as a deformable component having deformation performance. For example, when the deformable member 222 is subjected to a force, the deformable member 222 may be deformed accordingly in a certain direction.
As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 4, the deformable member 222 is electrically connected to the second electrode 22, and the gas in the gas cavity 223 drives the deformable member 222 to deform when the pressure increases, so that the deformable member 222 is electrically connected to the connection portion 110, and the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22 are electrically connected.
It should be noted that, when the battery 1000 is in an abnormal state, such as an overcharged state, the gas pressure in the battery 1000 increases, the gas in the battery 1000 may enter the gas cavity 223, and the gas entering the gas cavity 223 generates a pressure to push the deformable member 222, so as to drive the deformable member 222 to deform and be electrically connected to the connection portion 110, thereby achieving the electrical connection between the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22, and causing a short circuit of the battery 1000. After the battery 1000 is short-circuited, part of the energy is released and the charging of the battery 1000 is disconnected.
In the prior art, as in patent publication No. 103022403a, the deformable member is disposed in a horizontal direction perpendicular to the up-down direction (where the horizontal direction is perpendicular to the up-down direction or parallel to the plane of the cover plate), and the deformable member is turned over in the up-down direction when deformed, in this design, due to the limitation of the space of the cover plate of the battery, the area of the deformable member cannot be made large, on one hand, under the condition of a certain air pressure inside the battery, the area of the deformable member is small, the force is small, and the deformable member cannot be deformed in time, on the other hand, the area of the deformable member is small, the overcurrent capacity is small, and the deformable member is easily fused; in the present application, the deformable member 222 is disposed in the vertical direction, and the height of the deformable member 222 in the vertical direction is adjustable, so that the stressed area of the deformable member 222 is easily increased, and under the condition that the air pressure inside the battery 1000 is constant, the deformable member 222 is large in area and large in stress, and the deformable member 222 can be deformed in time to contact the connecting portion 110, so that the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22 are short-circuited.
According to the battery cover plate 100 of the embodiment of the invention, by arranging the air cavity 223 communicated with the air inside the battery 1000, when the battery 1000 is in an abnormal state, such as an overcharged state, the air inside the battery 1000 can enter the air cavity 223, and the air entering the air cavity 223 can generate an acting force for pushing the deformable member 222, so that the deformable member 222 is deformed and electrically connected with the connecting part 110, and the short-circuit connection of the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22 of the battery 1000 is realized, so that the battery 1000 releases energy and the charging of the battery 1000 is disconnected. Through the arrangement, the safety performance of the battery 1000 under abnormal conditions is greatly improved, and the overall structure of the battery cover plate 100 is compact and reasonable.
The shape of the air chamber 223 is not particularly limited in the present application, and the position where the air chamber 223 is disposed in the cover main body 10 is not particularly limited.
According to some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 11 and 12, the cap body 10 may be provided with a fitting hole 103, the fitting hole 103 being located between the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22, and an air chamber 223 being provided in the fitting hole 103. Thereby, layout design of the air cavity 223 is facilitated.
As shown in fig. 12, the air cavity 223 has a first axis extending in the up-down direction, and the air cavity 223 includes a sidewall formed by extending rotationally around the first axis, and at least a part of the sidewall is the deformable member 222. That is, the sidewalls of the air cavity 223 may be entirely provided as the deformable member 222, and the sidewalls of the air cavity 223 may also be partially provided as the deformable member 222.
As shown in fig. 11 and 12, the side walls are clearance-fitted with the fitting holes 103 when the deformable member 222 is undeformed. That is, when the deformable member 222 is not deformed, the deformable member 222 is not in contact with the connection portion 110, and the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22 are not electrically connected. When the battery 1000 is in an abnormal state, such as an overcharged state, the air pressure in the air cavity 223 increases, and the air pressure can drive the deformable member 222 to be electrically connected with the connecting portion 110, so that the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22 are electrically connected to perform short-circuit protection on the battery 1000.
In some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 11 and 12, the battery cap plate 100 may further include: and the protective cover 90 is connected with the cover plate main body 10 and covers the outer side of the deformable member 222. It can be understood that, by providing the protective cover 90, the protective cover 90 can shield and protect the deformable member 222 and the air cavity 223, so as to prevent the deformable member 222 from being damaged by impact and affecting the normal operation of the battery 1000, thereby improving the stability and reliability of the operation of the battery 1000.
According to some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 11 and 12, the shield 90 may be provided with a gas hole communicating with the outside gas. It should be noted that, when the battery 1000 is in an abnormal state, such as an overcharged state, the air pressure in the air cavity 223 increases and drives the deformable member 222 to expand outwards, thereby causing the air pressure in the space between the outer walls of the protection cover 90 and the air cavity 223 to increase, and through the air hole communicated with the external air arranged in the protection cover 90, the air in the space between the outer walls of the protection cover 90 and the air cavity 223 can be discharged from the air hole, thereby avoiding the deformation of the deformable member 222 due to the influence of the increase of the air pressure in the space between the outer walls of the protection cover 90 and the air cavity 223, and further improving the smoothness and reliability of the movement of the deformable member 222.
According to some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1-4, the deformable member 222 may be located radially outward of the second electrode 22, the deformable member 222 cooperating with the second electrode 22 to define an air cavity 223. The deformable member 222 is disposed at the position of the second electrode 22, so that the layout of the battery cover plate 100 can be made compact and reasonable, thereby saving space of the battery cover plate 100.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the air cavity 223 may be formed as one extending in the circumferential direction of the second electrode 22. As shown in fig. 1-4, the deformable member 222 may be electrically connected to the second electrode 22, and the deformable member 222 extends in a circumferential direction of the second electrode 22 to form an annular air cavity 223 disposed around the second electrode 22. Therefore, when the battery 1000 is short-circuited, the gas inside the battery 1000 enters the gas cavity 223, the gas entering the gas cavity 223 can push the deformable member 222 to deform towards the cover plate main body 10, and a circumferentially extending annular surface contact is formed between the deformable member 222 and the cover plate main body 10. Therefore, the contact area between the deformable piece 222 and the cover plate main body 10 can be increased, the situation that the area of the contact part between the deformable piece 222 and the cover plate main body 10 is too small and the deformable piece 222 and the cover plate main body 10 are fused due to too large current is avoided, and the reliability and the stability of connection between the deformable piece 222 and the cover plate main body 10 are improved.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the air cavity 223 may be plural, and the plural air cavities 223 may be arranged at intervals in the circumferential direction of the second electrode 22. Therefore, by arranging the air cavities 223, the abnormal state protection function of the battery 1000 can be prevented from being influenced by the deformation fault of the deformable member 222 of one or more air cavities 223, and the safety of the battery 1000 under the abnormal condition is improved.
In some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1 and 2 in combination, the gas in the gas chamber 223 drives the deformable member 222 to deform in a radial direction of the second electrode 22 toward a direction close to the cap body 10, so that the deformable member 222 is in contact with the cap body 10.
It is noted that, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the deformable member 222 may be configured in a ring shape protruding toward the second electrode 22 in a radial direction. When the battery 1000 is in an abnormal state, such as an overcharged state, the gas in the battery 1000 enters the gas cavity 223 through the gas passage S10, and the gas in the gas cavity 223 pushes the deformable member 222 outward in the radial direction, so that the deformable member 222 is deformed toward the connection part 110, and the deformable member 222 is brought into contact with the cap body 10 to achieve electrical connection between the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22. When the battery 1000 is short-circuited, the battery 1000 releases energy and disconnects charging of the battery 1000.
According to some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the second electrode 22 is provided with a gas passage S10 for communicating the gas chamber 223 with the inside of the battery 1000, and when the pressure in the battery 1000 increases, the gas inside the battery 1000 can enter the gas chamber 223 through the gas passage S10. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the second electrode 22 may have a plurality of air outlet ports a1 communicating with the air cavity 223. Thus, the gas in the gas passage S10 can enter the gas cavity 223 through the plurality of gas outlets a 1. This can improve the gas flow efficiency. Moreover, the gas enters the gas cavity 223 from the plurality of gas outlets A1, which is beneficial to improving the uniformity and consistency of the pressure of the gas in the gas cavity 223 pushing the deformable part 222, and makes the deformation of each position of the short circuit more balanced.
According to some embodiments of the invention, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the gas passage S10 may include: a first ventilation section S11 and a second ventilation section S12, the first ventilation section S11 extending in the axial direction of the second electrode 22, the second ventilation section S12 communicating with the first ventilation section S11, the second ventilation section S12 extending in the radial direction of the second electrode 22.
As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 6, the lower end of the first venting section S11 may communicate with the inside of the battery 1000, and the upper end of the first venting section S11 communicates with the second venting section S12. After being pressed, the gas in the battery 1000 can flow into the second ventilation section S12 through the first ventilation section S11 and enter the gas cavity 223 through the second ventilation section S12, and the gas channel S10 has a simple structure and is convenient and smooth in gas flowing.
In some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the centerline of the first ventilation segment S11 coincides with the axis of the second electrode 22. Thereby, it is advantageous to improve the structural strength of the second electrode 22, and the plurality of gas outlets a1 may be equally spaced from the first ventilation section S11, thereby facilitating the uniformity and stability of the gas flow entering the gas cavity 223 from the gas channel S10.

For example, the deformable member 222 may be sleeved on the second electrode 22, and the upper and lower ends of the deformable member 222 are respectively connected to the second electrode 22, and an air cavity 223 is defined between the deformable member 222 and the inner wall of the recess 2200. It is understood that by providing the recess 2200, the overall size of the second electrode 22 may be reduced, and thus the structure of the battery cover plate 100 may be more compact and reasonable.

It should be noted that the "longitudinal section of the deformable member 222" described herein may be understood as a section of the deformable member 222 in the up-down direction shown in fig. 1. By providing the deformable member 222 with an arc-shaped longitudinal section that is convex toward the second electrode 22, the overall structure of the second electrode 22 can be made more compact and reasonable. Moreover, when the battery 1000 is in an abnormal state, such as an overcharged state, the gas entering the gas cavity 223 through the gas passage S10 may press the deformable member 222, so that the deformable member 222 expands outward in the direction to contact the cap main body 10, which is simple in structure and reliable in operation.
In some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the battery cover plate 10 may be provided with a sink, a bottom wall of the sink is provided with a through hole, and the second electrode 22 is disposed through the sink and the through hole. Therefore, the battery cover plate 10 can be formed with a stepped structure, and the second electrode 22 can be set on the battery cover plate 10 in a sunken manner, so that the battery 1000 can be made compact and the space utilization rate of the battery 1000 can be improved.
According to some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, 2, and 4, the battery cap plate 100 may further include a first insulating member 31 and a connection part 110. The second electrode 22 and the battery cover plate 100 can be in insulated fit with each other through the first insulating member 31.
As shown in fig. 1, 2 and 4, the connection part 110 may include: a first extension 111, a second extension 112 and a third extension 113. The first extension segment 111 is electrically connected with the rest of the cover plate main body 10, an included angle is formed between the second extension segment 112 and the first extension segment 111, the third extension segment 113 is parallel to the first extension segment 111, the first extension segment 111 and the third extension segment 113 are respectively connected with two ends of the second extension segment 112, the third extension segment 113 extends towards the deformable piece 222, and the deformable piece 222 can be deformed to be in contact with the third extension segment 113.
As shown in fig. 1 and 4, the third extending segment 113 is provided with a receiving groove 1130, and the first insulating member 31 is disposed in the receiving groove 1130. It can be understood that the fixing assembly of the first insulating member 31 is facilitated by providing the receiving groove 1130 on the third extension 113, and moreover, the fixing firmness and reliability of the first insulating member 31 can be improved.
As shown in fig. 3 and 4, when the first insulating member 31 is fitted into the receiving groove 1130, the first insulating member 31 is located between the second electrode 22 and the cap body 10 to isolate the second electrode 22 from the cap body 10, thereby achieving an insulating fit between the second electrode 22 and the cap body 10.
In some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1, 2 and 4, the battery cap plate 100 may further include a second insulating member 32, the second electrode 22 is provided with a support portion 221 extending in the circumferential direction, and the second insulating member 32 is located between the third extension 113 and the support portion 221. By providing the support portion 221 on the second electrode 22, the firmness and reliability of the fit between the second electrode 22 and the cap main body 10 can be improved. By providing the second insulating member 32 between the third extension 113 and the support 221, an insulating fit between the second electrode 22 and the cap body 10 may be achieved.
According to some embodiments of the invention, at least one of the deformable member 222 and the cover body 10 is provided with a coating. That is, the deformable member 222 may be provided with a coating layer, the cover main body 10 may be provided with a coating layer, or both the deformable member 222 and the cover main body 10 may be provided with a coating layer.
It should be noted that, when battery 1000 is in an abnormal state, such as an overcharged state, deformable member 222 deforms toward connection portion 110 and contacts connection portion 110, as shown in fig. 1 and 2. The coating can be provided at the matching surface of the deformable piece 222 and the connecting part 110, and the coating can also be provided at the matching surface of the connecting part 110 and the deformable piece 222; a coating may also be provided on the mating surfaces of both the deformable member 222 and the connecting portion 110. The coating may be a resistive coating (e.g., plastic, ceramic, etc.) having a resistance value. Thus, when deformable member 222 is in contact with connecting portion 110, a short circuit current passes through the resistive coating, releasing some of the energy and dissolving the coating, while battery 1000 is being de-charged.
The resistance of the coating is 1 milliohm-3 milliohm. Experiments prove that the resistance of the coating is set to be 1 milliohm-3 milliohm, and when the battery 1000 is in an abnormal state, such as an overcharged state, and the deformable member 222 is in contact with the connection part 110, the short-circuit current can conveniently dissolve the coating to release energy, and the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22 are stably and reliably electrically connected, so that the safety of the battery 1000 in the abnormal state is greatly improved.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the second electrode 22 and the deformable member 222 are both made of copper, and the second electrode 22 and the deformable member 222 are welded together. Thus, the firmness and reliability of the connection between the deformable member 222 and the second electrode 22 may be improved. As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the second electrode 22 of the second electrode 22 may include an upper pole 2201 and a lower pole 2202. The lower pole 2202 is electrically connected with the battery cell 40, and the upper pole 2201 can be electrically connected with other external components to achieve electrical connection between the battery 1000 and other components. According to some embodiments of the present invention, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, the second electrode 22 may include: the pole comprises an upper pole 2201 and a lower pole 2202, wherein one of the upper pole 2201 and the lower pole 2202 is provided with a boss 2203, and the other one is provided with a groove 2204 matched with the boss 2203. Thus, a secure and reliable assembly between the upper pole 2201 and the lower pole 2202 can be achieved through the fit of the boss 2203 and the groove 2204, thereby facilitating the fixed assembly of the second electrode 22.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, an upwardly protruding cylindrical boss 2203 may be disposed at the upper end of the lower pole 2202, and an upwardly extending cylindrical recess 2204 may be disposed at the lower end of the upper pole 2201, so that the upper pole 2201 and the lower pole 2202 may be efficiently and reliably assembled by inserting the boss 2203 into the recess 2204. Of course, the boss 2203 may be disposed on the upper pole 2201, the groove 2204 may be disposed on the lower pole 2202, and the boss 2203 and the groove 2204 may be matched to achieve efficient and reliable assembly of the upper pole 2201 and the lower pole 2202.

The phrase "the first electrode 21 is in insulating engagement with the cap body 10" as used herein means that the first electrode 21 is in insulating engagement with the cap body 10 at the connection position, or the first electrode 21 is in insulating engagement with the other portion of the cap body 10 excluding the connection portion 110. For example, the entire cap body 10 may be a conductive member, and the connection portion of the first electrode 21 and the cap body 10 may be insulated and fitted by an insulating member, or another portion of the cap body 10 excluding the connection portion 110 may be provided as an insulating member, and the first electrode 21 is connected to another portion of the cap body 10 excluding the connection portion 110. The first electrode 21 is electrically connected to the connection portion 110 through a tab. When the battery 1000 is in an abnormal state, such as an overcharged state, the air pressure in the air cavity 223 increases to drive the deformable member 222 to contact the connection part 110, thereby realizing the short-circuit connection protection of the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22.

Therefore, the space utilization rate of the battery 1000 and the volume of the battery cell 40 are improved by improving the volume of the battery cell 40.
When the battery 1000 is in an abnormal state, such as an overcharged state, the internal gas pressure of the battery 1000 increases, the gas enters the gas cavity 223 through the gas passage S10, and when the gas pressure reaches a predetermined pressure, the deformable member 222 expands outward under the gas pressure and contacts the connection portion 110, so that the entire battery 1000 forms an external short circuit loop. As shown in fig. 11 and 12, the air chamber 223 has a first axis extending in the up-down direction, and the air chamber 223 includes a sidewall formed to extend rotationally around the first axis, the sidewall being the deformable member 222. The side walls are clearance fit with the fitting holes 103 when the deformable member 222 is undeformed.
Thus, by disposing the air cavity 223 between the first electrode 21 and the second electrode 22, the layout design of the air cavity 223 is facilitated. Through setting up protection casing 90, protection casing 90 can play the effect of sheltering from the protection to deformable member 222 and air cavity 223, avoids deformable member 222 to be damaged by the striking and influence the normal operating of battery 1000, has improved the stability and the reliability of battery 1000 operation.
Moreover, the air holes communicated with the outside air are formed in the protective cover 90, so that the air in the space between the protective cover 90 and the outer wall of the air cavity 223 can be discharged from the air holes, the deformation of the deformable part 222 caused by the influence of the increase of the air pressure in the space between the protective cover 90 and the outer wall of the air cavity 223 is avoided, and the smoothness and the reliability of the movement of the deformable part 222 are improved.
