It is to be understood that the embodiments described are only a few embodiments of the present application and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
Embodiments of the present application provide a display device, which will be described in detail below.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a liquid crystal display panel according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. The liquid crystal display panel 100 may include a transparent display area AA and a color display area BB disposed at an interval. The liquid crystal display panel 100 may include a first substrate 10, a reflective layer 20, a liquid crystal layer 30, a color film layer 40, a second substrate 50, and a polarizing layer 60, which are sequentially stacked.
The reflective layer 20 may include a first transparent film 21 corresponding to the transparent display area AA and a reflective film 22 corresponding to the color display area BB. The color film layer 40 may include a second transparent film 41 corresponding to the transparent display area AA and a color film 42 corresponding to the color display area BB. The polarizing layer 60 may include a second transparent film 61 corresponding to the transparent display area AA and a polarizer 62 corresponding to the color display area BB.
The first transparent film 21, the second transparent film 41, and the third transparent film 61 are made of a material having high light transmittance. In some embodiments, the material may be configured to have a light transmittance higher than a predetermined value. For example, the first transparent film 21, the second transparent film 41, and the third transparent film 61 may be formed of a material having a light transmittance higher than ninety-five percent. It is understood that the higher the light transmittance of the materials constituting the first transparent film 21, the second transparent film 41 and the third transparent film 61, the better.
In the present embodiment, the first transparent film 21, the second transparent film 41, and the third transparent film 61 have the same size in the same dimension. The first transparent film 21, the second transparent film 41, and the third transparent film 61 are flush with each other.
It should be noted that the terms "first", "second" and "third" in the description of the present application are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying relative importance or implicitly indicating the number of technical features indicated. Thus, features defined as "first", "second", "third" may explicitly or implicitly include one or more of the described features.
It can be understood that, in the embodiment, by correspondingly disposing the first transparent film 21, the second transparent film 41 and the third transparent film 61 with high light transmittance in the transparent display area AA, the absorption rate of the transparent display area AA of the liquid crystal display panel 100 to incident light can be reduced, so as to improve the display effect of the liquid crystal display panel 100.
It should be noted that the first substrate in the embodiment of the present application is an array substrate. In some embodiments, in order to further improve the light transmittance of the transparent display area AA, no thin film transistor may be disposed at a portion of the array substrate corresponding to the transparent display area AA. That is, the thin film transistors of the array substrate are distributed in the color display area BB.
It should be noted that the color film 42 may be a color-resist color film or a quantum dot color film. Polarizer 62 may be a circular polarizer.
It is understood that when the polarizer 62 is a circular polarizer, the circular polarizer can reduce the reflection of incident light and the absorption of emergent light, thereby improving the display effect of the color display area BB of the lcd panel 100.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 2, when the color film 42 is a quantum dot color film, the liquid crystal display panel 100 may further include a light guide plate 70, an ultraviolet light source 80, and an ultraviolet filter 90.
The light guide plate 70 is disposed on a side of the polarizing layer 60 away from the second substrate 50. The ultraviolet light source 80 is disposed at a side of the light guide plate 70 to form a side-in light source. The ultraviolet filter 90 is disposed on a side of the light guide plate 70 away from the polarizing layer 60.
The light guide plate 70 can reflect the ultraviolet light emitted by the ultraviolet light source 80, so that the ultraviolet light is incident from the polarizing layer 60, and when the ultraviolet light irradiates the reflective layer 20, the ultraviolet light can be reflected by the reflective layer 20, so as to excite the color film 42 of the color film layer 40 to emit light. That is, the light guide plate 70 and the ultraviolet light source 80 may increase the intensity of reflected light, thereby improving the display effect of the liquid crystal display panel 100.
It can be understood that after the ultraviolet light emitted from the ultraviolet light source 80 is reflected by the light guide plate 70, a part of the ultraviolet light is emitted from the upper side of the light guide plate 70, which may cause the liquid crystal display panel 100 to generate stray light and reduce the display effect.
Therefore, in order to prevent part of the ultraviolet light reflected by the light guide plate 70 from being emitted from the upper side of the light guide plate 70, the ultraviolet filter 90 is disposed on the side of the light guide plate 70 away from the polarizing layer 60. The ultraviolet filter 90 can absorb ultraviolet light, thereby preventing stray light and improving the display effect.
In this embodiment, the color film 42 of the color film layer 40 may preferably be a quantum dot color film. The quantum dot color film can be excited by the ultraviolet light reflected by the light guide plate 70 to emit light, so as to improve the intensity of the reflected light, and further improve the display effect of the liquid crystal display panel 100.
In some embodiments, the liquid crystal display panel 100 may include a first surface 101 and a second surface 102. The transparent display area AA of the lcd panel 100 may be used to transmit light from the second surface 102 side to present the article displayed on the second surface 102 side on the first surface 101 side, and may also be used to display static information of the article, such as text information or simple picture information. The color display area BB can be used to display dynamic information of the article, such as animated video information. The transparent display area AA and the color display area BB are distinguished from each other to avoid interference caused by the real-time changing dynamic information visually overlapping with the article observed through perspective.
In some embodiments, since the transparent display area AA is mainly used for perspective presentation of the object behind it and for displaying simple static information, its resolution may be set lower than the color display area BB. Therefore, the light transmittance of the transparent display area AA can be increased by increasing the area thereof.
It should be noted that, the liquid crystal display panel 100 provided in the embodiment of the present application can reflect the ambient light, so as to excite the color film layer 40 to emit light. That is, the liquid crystal display panel 100 may use ambient light as a display light source. That is, the liquid crystal display panel 100 provided in the embodiment of the present application can perform display without a backlight module providing a light source.
Therefore, the liquid crystal display panel 100 provided in the embodiment of the present application can reduce the absorption rate of the transparent display area AA of the liquid crystal display panel 100 to incident light by arranging the first transparent film 21, the second transparent film 41, and the third transparent film 61 with high light transmittance in the transparent display area AA, so as to improve the display effect of the liquid crystal display panel 100.
The embodiment of the present application also provides a display device, which may include the liquid crystal display panel 100 in the above embodiment. The display device can be a department show window, a refrigerator door, a bus stop board, a front windshield glass of an automobile and the like.
In the foregoing embodiments, the descriptions of the respective embodiments have respective emphasis, and for parts that are not described in detail in a certain embodiment, reference may be made to related descriptions of other embodiments.
The liquid crystal display panel and the display device provided by the embodiments of the present application are described in detail above, and specific examples are applied herein to illustrate the principles and embodiments of the present application, and the description of the embodiments above is only used to help understand the technical solutions and core ideas of the present application; those of ordinary skill in the art will understand that: the technical solutions described in the foregoing embodiments may still be modified, or some technical features may be equivalently replaced; such modifications or substitutions do not depart from the spirit and scope of the present disclosure as defined by the appended claims.
