The invention provides application of watermark paper in preparation of thermal paper, watermark thermal paper and a preparation method thereof. The invention further processes the watermark paper as the base paper of the thermal paper to obtain the thermal paper, so that the prepared paper has both anti-counterfeiting and thermal copying functions, and still has the thermal anti-counterfeiting effect after the thermal paper is imaged by heat transfer under the action of a printer or external force. The watermark can be permanently retained on the paper surface, and compared with the degradation problem of printing anti-counterfeiting on the thermal sensitive paper, the thermal sensitive paper can have a long-term anti-counterfeiting special effect. Under normal illumination conditions (daytime or under light), the watermark anti-counterfeiting image-text can be seen indoors and outdoors.

As shown in fig. 1, the present invention provides a thermal paper for anti-counterfeit watermark, comprising: a watermark base paper 1 and a heat-sensitive coating 2. The back of the watermark surface of the watermark base paper is coated with the thermosensitive coating, so that the paper body has a thermosensitive coating and contains nondegradable anti-counterfeiting pictures and texts, and the use function and anti-counterfeiting effect of the thermosensitive paper are achieved.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 3, pulp is first ground, auxiliary materials are added, the pulp enters a head box to prepare base paper, and then the base paper is processed by a watermark roll and a watermark net to prepare the watermark base paper. And carrying out a gluing and drying process of the thermosensitive coating after squeezing and drying processes, wherein the frequency of the gluing and drying process is designed according to actual conditions. And performing press polishing after the gluing and drying process is finished, so that the surface of the thermosensitive coating is flat and smooth.
As shown in fig. 4, the preparation process of the thermosensitive coating includes: grinding raw materials, melting an adhesive, wherein the melting adhesive is melted by hot water, and then the melted adhesive and the ground raw materials are mixed with styrene butadiene latex and kaolin to be stirred and synthesized, so that the thermosensitive coating is obtained. In the gluing and drying process, as the customer has strict requirements on tensile strength, tearing strength, smoothness and color development, the reasonable proportion is obtained through repeated experiments. The drying is carried out by heating with natural gas, which is not limited in the present invention.
The anti-counterfeiting watermark heat-sensitive paper provided by the invention can be applied to any anti-counterfeiting bills, such as vehicle and ship tickets, entrance tickets, bank tickets and the like.
