The invention relates to knitting equipment and discloses a variable-caliber needle cylinder which comprises a cylinder body formed by splicing a plurality of needle groove segments, wherein at least one needle groove is arranged on the front surface of each needle groove segment, the structures of the needle groove segments are the same, an upper bolt hole and a lower bolt hole are respectively arranged at two ends of the back surface of each needle groove segment, and two adjacent needle groove segments are positioned by penetrating through the upper bolt hole and the lower bolt hole which are adjacent through a pin. The invention can change the caliber of the cylinder body by increasing and decreasing the number of the needle groove pieces, and the increased and decreased needle groove pieces can still be attached to the original needle groove pieces to form the cylinder body after increasing and decreasing the needle groove pieces, and the assembly and disassembly are convenient.
