Optionally, the first message attribute identification may include: the first application sub-identifier is used for indicating a first application program for generating the first unread message, and the first contact sub-identifier is used for indicating a first contact for sending the first unread message, so that a user can know the first application program for generating the first unread message through the displayed first application sub-identifier and know the first contact for sending the first unread message through the displayed first contact sub-identifier.
In the embodiment of the application, the communication messages of the electronic device and the contacts in each communication application are displayed on the same interface (i.e. the first interface) of the electronic device. In this embodiment, during displaying, each contact person may correspond to one display unit in units of contact persons, and the communication message between the electronic device and the contact person is displayed in the display unit. In addition, in order to facilitate the user to distinguish the contact and the application program corresponding to the communication message displayed by each display unit, each display unit may include two display areas, namely, a first message display area and a second message display area, where the first message display area is used to display the content of the communication message, and the second message display area is used to display the communication application identifier to which the communication message belongs and the contact identifier of the communication message. That is, in this alternative embodiment, each display unit may include two display areas, where the first display area may be a message label for displaying an application identifier and a contact identifier of the communication message, where the application identifier may include a name of the application or an icon of the application, and the contact identifier may include an ID of the contact (e.g., a unique identifier of the contact in the application) or a name of the contact, e.g., a name remarked by the user for the contact, and the other display area is used for displaying message content of the communication message.
For example, the manner shown in fig. 2 may be adopted, and in fig. 2, two display units are displayed on the same interface, respectively from the first application program and the second application program. In fig. 2, the message tag 1 (the source application of the communication message and the message source contact (or group) displayed on each display unit) in the embodiment, the message source application may include any application program with a chat function (also referred to as instant messaging) on the electronic device, including the first application program and the second application program, and the message source contact (or group) may display the content of the corresponding communication message in the second message display area 2 for the remark name or the user account (referred to as the contact object identifier in this embodiment) of the contact (or group) in its source application.
Step 103, receiving a first input of the user to the first area.
The first input may be a click operation, for example, the user may click on the first message content of the first unread message displayed in the first area, or may click on the first message attribute identifier of the displayed first unread message.
In a specific application, the user can select by clicking the displayed first communication message for a touchable display screen, or click and select by a selection key for a non-touchable display screen.
Step 104, responding to the first input, displaying a message reply window on the first interface, wherein information displayed in a first message reply area of the message reply window comprises a first application program sub-identifier, and the first application program sub-identifier is used for indicating a first application program which generates the first unread message;

For example, in the display interface shown in fig. 2, the first message display area 1 and the second message display area 2 of the display unit may be selectable areas, and the user creates a message reply window dedicated to the communication application to which the selected communication message belongs by selecting one of the two areas.
According to the embodiment of the application, the corresponding message reply window can be created according to the first input of the user, and the first reply message input by the user is received, so that the user can quickly reply the message through the first interface.
Optionally, the lower portion of the first interface may be used as a message reply area, and after receiving the first input, a message reply window for inputting the first reply message is created.
In a particular application, the message reply window may take the form as shown in fig. 3. In fig. 3, the first message reply area 6 of the message reply window is used to display an application identifier corresponding to the reply message, in this embodiment, the first message reply area 6 currently displays a first application sub-identifier, where the application identifier displayed in the first message reply area 6 may be an icon of an application (for example, the oval displayed in the first message reply area 6 in fig. 3 is an icon of a first application), and of course, the application identifier may also be a program name of an application, but is not limited thereto. The second message reply area 3 is used for displaying the receiving object identification of the reply message. The receiving object identifier of the reply message may be a target contact or group name to which the user is currently going to reply, and may be displayed on the second message reply area 3 in a manner of selecting the target contact or group name in the corresponding application program, and may also provide a contact list of the corresponding application through a pull-down menu, where the selectable item included in the contact list may be a contact or group of the message received in the first interface, or may be all contact or group lists of the electronic device in the corresponding application. The third message reply field 4, the reply edit box, is used to display the message content of the reply message. Alternatively, as shown in figure 4, the first message reply field 6 may be located in front of the message content displayed in the third message reply field 4 to indicate that the currently entered content is to be sent to the application.
By the message display method provided by the embodiment of the application, the unread messages of the contacts in the application programs of the electronic equipment can be displayed on the first interface of the electronic equipment, and the message reply window for one unread message is displayed on the first interface, so that a user can conveniently check the unread messages from different application programs, the unread messages from different contacts can be replied on the same interface, and the switching operation of the user is avoided.
In practical applications, after the user performs the first input, the user may input the message content to be replied to the target contact in the third message reply area. In an alternative embodiment, after step 104, as shown in fig. 4, the method may further include:
and 105, receiving a second input of the user in the third message reply area.
For example, the user may input the message content to be replied to in the third message reply field through the virtual keyboard.
And 106, responding to the second input, and displaying the second message content input by the second input in the third message reply area.
And in response to the second input of the user, displaying the second message content input by the user in the third message reply area, so that the user can see the input content to determine whether the input content is correct.
Step 107, in case of receiving a third input from the user, sending a first reply message, where the first reply message includes: the first recipient object identification and the second message content.
In this optional implementation manner, the first reply message input by the user may be sent to the receiving object, so as to implement sending of the reply message.
In practice, the message reply window may display a key for confirming the transmission, and the third input by the user may be clicking the key, or the third input may be inputting a specific key, for example, an enter key, from a keyboard (including a physical keyboard or a virtual keyboard). The specific examples of the present application are not limited.
In an optional embodiment, the first reply message may be sent to the first application, and the first application sends the second message content to the contact corresponding to the first receiving object identifier. Or, the first reply message may be sent to a server corresponding to the first application program, and the server sends the second message content to a contact corresponding to the first received object identifier.
In particular applications, after receiving the user's second input in the third message reply field, the user may need to reply to another unread message (i.e., the second unread message) before receiving the user's third input. Therefore, in an alternative embodiment, after step 106 and before step 107, the method may further include:
step 106-1, receiving a fourth input of the user to a second area of the first interface, wherein the second area displays a second unread message, a second contact of the second unread message is different from a first contact of the first unread message, and a second application program for generating the second unread message is the same as or different from the first application program;
for example, after the user inputs the second message content in the second message reply area of the message reply window, before sending the first reply message, the user clicks the message content or the second message attribute identifier of the second unread message displayed in the second area, and the like.
Step 106-2, in response to the fourth input, clearing the first received object identifier displayed in the second message reply area and the second message content displayed in the third message reply area.
In response to the fourth input of the user, the electronic device clears the information displayed in the second message reply region and the third message reply region of the message reply window, so that the user can input the message content and the receiving object identification of the new reply message (i.e. the second reply message).
Step 106-3, updating the receiving object identifier of the second message reply region to a second receiving object identifier, and updating the message content in the third message reply region to a third message content.
After the second message reply region and the third message reply region of the message reply window are emptied, the user may input new message content (i.e., third message content) in the third message reply region, and the second message reply region displays the receiving object identifier of the second reply message, i.e., the second receiving object identifier.
In an alternative implementation manner, after step 106-3, the user may further input an instruction for confirming to send the second reply message, which is similar to the sending of the first reply message and is not described herein again.
In the above optional embodiment, if the second application is different from the first application, after receiving a fourth input from the user to the second area of the first interface, the method further includes: updating the first application program sub-identifier of the first message reply area of the message reply window to a second application program sub-identifier, wherein the second application program sub-identifier is used for indicating the second application program. For example, the application icon of the first message reply field may be updated to the icon of the second application so that the user can confirm whether the application sending the first reply message is correct.
In the above optional embodiment, if the message reply window currently has the first reply message that is not sent, in order to avoid repeated input by the user, the related information of the first reply message may be cached. In an optional embodiment, the message reply window may further include a fourth message reply field, and after receiving the fourth input, the method may further include: caching related information of a first reply message, wherein the related information comprises at least one of the following: second message content, and the first recipient object identification; displaying the first application program sub-identifier in the fourth message reply area; in a case where a fifth input of the first application sub-identifier displayed by the fourth message reply area by the user is received, in response to the fifth input, performing a first process, wherein the first process includes at least one of: updating the message content of the third message reply area to the second message content; and updating the receiving object identification of the second message reply area to the first receiving object identification.
In this alternative embodiment, the fourth message reply segment 5 may optionally be located below the third message reply segment 4, as shown in figure 3. The first application sub-identity displayed in the fourth message reply field 5 may be an icon of the first application. Through the optional implementation mode, the first reply message currently displayed in the message reply window can be cached and displayed in the mode of the icon of the first application program, so that a subsequent user can continuously edit the first reply message. In this alternative embodiment, when the user sequentially clicks a plurality of message labels or message contents displayed on the first interface, the icon displayed in the first message reply region 6 is updated to the icon of the application program to which the message that was clicked the last time belongs, while the icon of the previous application program is contracted to the fourth message reply region 5, and the icon of one application program is displayed on the fourth message reply region 5, and the icon of each application program displayed in this region can be clicked, so that the fourth message reply region is expanded to enter the editing state, and the user can continue to edit the reply message that was not sent before.
For example, in fig. 3, if the user clicks the icon of the first application displayed on the fourth message reply field 5, the cached first reply message replying to the contact of the first application is restored, and the icon of the first application is displayed on the first message reply field 6, if the relevant information of the cached first reply message includes: and displaying the first received object identification in the recovered second message reply region 3, and displaying the second message content in the recovered third message reply region 4 if the cached related information of the first reply message comprises the second message content.
In a specific application, the user may select the icon of the first application program in the fourth message reply area 5 during the editing process of the second reply message, in which case, the electronic device caches the related information of the currently edited second reply message, displays the icon of the second application program in the fourth message reply area 5, and recovers the cached first reply message in the message reply window; during the editing process of the first reply message, the user may also select the icon of the second application in the fourth message reply field 5, in which case the information related to the currently edited first reply message will be cached, and the cached second reply message will be restored in the message reply window. As shown in fig. 5, if the first reply message currently edited by the message reply window is a reply message of the first application program, when the user clicks an unread message of a certain second application program displayed on the first interface, the first reply message currently edited is cached, the third message reply region 4 is emptied, the input of the user is waited, and the first message reply region 6 of the message reply window is updated to be an icon of the second application program; when the icon of the first application program in the fourth message reply area 5 on the first interface is clicked, the icon of the first application program is displayed in the first message reply area of the message reply window, and the second message content of the previously input first reply message is restored.
Alternatively, the second message reply region 3 may have two display modes, the first display mode is as shown in fig. 3, and displays the receiving object id of the current reply message, the second display mode is to display a candidate list of receiving object from which the user can select the receiving object id of the current reply message, for example, in fig. 3, the user clicks a triangle icon displayed on the second message reply region 3, and then displays the candidate list of receiving object in a pull-down list form from which the user can select the receiving object id of the current reply message, and after the user selects, the second message reply region is updated to the first display mode.
In an optional implementation, after the receiving a fourth input by the user to the second area of the first interface, the method further includes: caching related information of the first reply message, wherein the related information comprises at least one of the following: second message content, and the first recipient object identification; updating the second message reply area from a first display mode to a second display mode, and displaying a first receiving object identifier in the second message reply area in the second display mode; if a sixth input of the first receiving object identifier displayed in the second display mode by the user is received, responding to the sixth input, updating the second message reply area from the second display mode to the first display mode, and executing a second process; wherein the second processing comprises at least one of: updating the message content of the third message reply area to the second message content; and updating the receiving object identification of the second message reply area to the first receiving object identification.
For example, if the first application program and the second application program are the same application program, after caching the related information of the first reply message, in the second display mode of the second message reply region, adding the first received object identifier of the first reply message to the second message reply region for display, if the user selects the first received object identifier, updating the second message reply region from the second display mode to the first display mode, if the cached related information includes the second message content, updating the message content of the third message reply region to the second message content, if the cached related information includes the first received object identifier, updating the received object identifier of the second message reply region to the first received object identifier.
Through the optional implementation mode, the first reply message which is not sent and replies different contacts can be cached when the second reply message is created, so that subsequent continuous editing is facilitated, and only the received object identifier needs to be changed, so that the process is saved.
In the above optional implementation manner, optionally, when the cached related information of the first reply message is displayed in the message reply window, if the currently edited second reply message is not sent yet, the second reply message may be cached, and when the user selects the second receiving object identifier of the second reply message next time, the second reply message is recovered, which is similar to the caching of the first reply message in a specific manner and is not described herein again.
In the above optional implementation manner, when the first reply message is cached, specifically, the first received object identifier of the first reply message is cached, the second message content, or both of them are cached, which may be set according to actual needs, or may be determined according to a current state of the first reply message when the fourth input is received, for example, if only the first received object identifier of the first reply message is selected, and the specific second message content is not input, the first received object identifier is cached; if the specific second message content is only input and the first receiving object identification of the first reply message is not selected, caching the second message content; if both the first received object identification is selected and the specific second message content is entered, the first received object identification and the second message content are cached.
In an alternative implementation, the first recipient identification of the first reply message may be selected by the user from a list of contact objects. In this optional implementation, before sending the first reply message, the method may further include: acquiring a contact object list in the first application program; updating the second message reply area from a first display mode to a second display mode, and displaying the contact object list in the second message reply area in the second display mode; receiving a seventh input of the contact object list from the user; in response to the seventh input, updating the second message reply field from the second display mode to the first display mode, and displaying the first received object identifier in the second message reply field, wherein the first received object identifier is the contact object identifier selected by the seventh input. For example, the retrieved list of contact objects may be displayed in a drop-down list in the second message reply field. Through the optional implementation manner, the user can select the first receiving object identifier of the first reply message according to actual needs.
In the foregoing optional implementation manner, optionally, the contact (i.e., the first contact sub-identifier) that sends the first unread message may be used as a default receiving object of the first reply message, that is, when the second message reply field is updated from the first display mode to the second display mode, the first contact sub-identifier is displayed in a default selected manner. In practical applications, when the first input of the user to the displayed first unread message is received, the object to which the user desires to reply is the sender of the first unread message with a high probability, so that the input of the user can be reduced by the optional implementation manner.
In a specific application, a user can reply a message by selecting the first message display area and the second message display area of each display unit. In the embodiment of the application, in order to enable a user to create different reply messages as required, the user can select different areas of the display unit and create corresponding reply messages in different forms.
For example, when a user needs to refer to the content of a message sent by a certain contact, the content of the message displayed may be selected. Therefore, in an optional implementation manner of the embodiment of the present application, in a case where the content selected by the first input is to display the first message content, that is, the first input selects the first message display area of the display unit displaying the first unread message, for example, by clicking the message content displayed by a certain display unit. In this alternative embodiment, the step 104 of displaying a message reply window on the first interface may comprise: and displaying the first contact person sub-identifier in a second message reply area of the message reply window, and displaying the first message content in a third message reply area. For example, in the second message reply region of the message reply window, the first message content of the first unread message displayed by the display unit is displayed in a manner of reference. With this alternative embodiment, the user may refer to the message content in the reply message by selecting the displayed message content.
Alternatively, the user may also identify by selecting the first application displayed on the display unit. Therefore, in an optional implementation manner of the embodiment of the present application, on the first interface, a message reply window is displayed, including: and under the condition that the content selected by the first input is the displayed first application program sub-identifier, updating the second message reply region from a first display mode to a second display mode, and displaying a contact object list in the first application program in the second message reply region in the second display mode. For example, in the display interface shown in fig. 2, when the user clicks a first application name displayed on one of the display units, a message reply window is created, the second message reply area of the message reply window updates the second display mode from the first display mode, and in the second display mode, the contact object list in the first application is displayed, for example, the contact object list is displayed in a pull-down list manner in the second message reply area.
Or, the user may also select the contact identifier displayed on the display unit, and create a corresponding reply message, that is, the content selected by the first input is the first contact sub-identifier. Therefore, in an optional implementation manner of the embodiment of the present application, displaying, on the first interface, a message reply window may include: and displaying the first contact person sub-identifier in a second message reply area of the message reply window. For example, in the display interface shown in fig. 2, when the user clicks the name of the person displayed on one of the display units, the message reply window is created in the first interface, and the first contact sub-identifier is displayed in the second message reply area of the message reply window. Through the optional implementation mode, the reply message of the receiver with the contact person sub-identification selected by the user as the default can be created, and the operation of the user is facilitated.
In a specific application, the contact sub-identifier displayed on the second message display area of the display unit may include: group identification and group member identification. Accordingly, in an optional embodiment, displaying a message reply window on the first interface may include: under the condition that the content selected by the first input is the group identifier, displaying the group identifier in a second message reply area of the message reply window; and under the condition that the content selected by the first input is the group member identification, displaying the group identification in a second message reply area of the message reply window, and displaying a preset identification in a third message reply area, wherein the preset identification is used for indicating the group member identification. Through the optional implementation mode, corresponding information can be displayed in the message reply window according to different inputs of the user, so that the input of the user is reduced.
For example, in fig. 6a, for a message from zhang san, the user clicks on the message content in the display unit, and then displays the message content in a manner of reference in the third message reply area of the created message reply window, and displays the reception object identification "zhang san" of the reply message in the second message reply area of the message reply window. In fig. 6b, for the message from "zhang san" in the group "department large group", the user clicks the message content in the display unit, and then the message content is displayed in the third message reply area of the created message reply window in a manner of reference, optionally, a preset identifier "@ zhang san" is displayed before the message content of the reply message, and a receiving object identifier "department large group" of the reply message is displayed in the second message reply area of the message reply box.
In fig. 7a, for the message from zhang san, the user clicks zhang san in the display unit, and the reception object identifier of the reply message "zhang san" is displayed in a selected manner in the second message reply field of the created message reply window. In fig. 7b, for the message from "zhang san" in the group "department large group", the user clicks "zhang san" in the display unit, and then the receiving object identifier "department large group" of the reply message is displayed in the second message reply area of the created message reply window, and a specific identifier is displayed in the third message reply area of the message reply window, for example, "@ zhang san" is displayed before the message content of the reply message. In fig. 7c, for the message of "@ zhang" from the group "department large group", the user clicks the "department large group" displayed in the display unit, and the reception object identifier "department large group" of the reply message is displayed in the second message reply field of the created message reply box.
In an optional implementation manner of the embodiment of the present application, after sending the first reply message, the method may further include: displaying second information of the first reply message in a third area of the first interface, wherein the second information comprises: a second message attribute identifier of the first reply message and the second message content, wherein the second message attribute identifier includes: the first application sub-identifier and the first receiving object identifier.
In a specific application, when the first interface displays the first reply message, the first reply message may be displayed in the same manner as the received unread message, as shown in fig. 8. Or, in a specific application, the message contents of the received message and the sent message of the same target contact person may also be displayed in the first message display area of the same display unit, and if there are many communication messages with the same contact person and the contents exceed the display window of the first message display area of the display unit, the messages may be viewed in a sliding window manner. Through the optional implementation mode, the reply message sent by the user can be displayed on the first interface, and the user can conveniently view the reply message.
In the foregoing optional implementation manner, in order to facilitate a user to distinguish between a received message and a sent message, in an optional implementation manner, the first information further includes a first message type identifier, where the first message type identifier is used to indicate that the first unread message is a received message from a target contact; as shown in fig. 8, the first message type identifier may be an arrow pointing to the first preset direction, or may also be other similar identifiers, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present application. The second information further comprises a second message type identifier, and the second message type identifier is used for indicating that the first reply message is a message sent to a target contact. As shown in fig. 8, the second message type identifier may be an arrow pointing to a second predetermined direction, wherein the first predetermined direction and the second predetermined direction are opposite.
In a particular application, after the first unread message is displayed on the first interface, the user may need to display the first unread message on a separate interface for certain needs, for example, to view the complete message content of the first unread message. Therefore, in an optional implementation manner of the embodiment of the present application, after the displaying the first information of the first unread message, the method may further include: receiving a first preset input of a user to the first area of the first interface; displaying a second interface, and displaying first information of the first unread message on the second interface; and the second interface is displayed on the first interface in an overlapped mode. In a specific application, the first predetermined input may be set according to actual conditions, for example, for an electronic device with a touch display screen, the first predetermined input may be a sliding operation in a preset direction (for example, to the right), and for a PC-like electronic device, the first predetermined input may be a dragging operation for dragging the first unread message away from the first interface, and the embodiment is not limited in this embodiment. Through the optional implementation mode, the first unread message displayed on the first interface can be independently displayed on the second interface, and the operation of a user is facilitated.
Optionally, in an optional implementation manner described above, after the first unread message is displayed on the second interface, the method may further include: receiving a second predetermined input of the user on the second interface; closing the second interface. In a specific application, the second predetermined input may be an operation corresponding to the first predetermined input, for example, for an electronic device with a touch display screen, the second predetermined input may be a sliding operation in a preset direction (for example, to the right or to the left), and for a PC-type electronic device, the second predetermined input may be a dragging operation for dragging the first unread message back to the first interface, and the embodiment is not limited thereto. Through the optional implementation manner, the user can redisplay the first unread message on the first interface after finishing the operation on the first unread message, so that the user can conveniently view the communication messages with a plurality of contact objects at the same time.
For example, in fig. 9, a sliding input of a user to a display unit (the display unit displays an unread message of a first application) is received, the sliding direction of the sliding input is a preset direction, for example, to the right, in response to the sliding input, a separate display interface (i.e., a second interface) is created, the unread message is displayed, then a sliding input of the user on the second interface is received, the sliding direction of the sliding input is a preset manner, for example, to the right, or to the left, in response to the sliding input, the second interface is closed, and the unread message is displayed on the first interface.
By the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the application, the unread messages of all the application programs in the electronic equipment can be aggregated and displayed, and the operation of looking up and replying the unread messages is completed in the same interface in a mode similar to hot switching, so that the trouble of frequently switching the application interfaces when a plurality of application programs are used for message communication at the same time is avoided.
