Description

IPv4 and IPv6 DNS unified access management method and system
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of CDN (content delivery network) and DNS (domain name system), and in particular relates to a management method and a system for uniform DNS access of IPv4 and IPv 6.
Background
The shortage of IPV4 address space has hindered and limited the development of the internet, and therefore, the substitution of IPV6 for IPV4 has been a necessary trend. In the existing internet environment, along with the improvement of the network performance requirements of users, most websites need to use the CDN to increase the access speed, so as to improve the user experience. Currently, not all CDN vendors support IPV6 or support IPV6 is not perfect enough, so that a customer who may have originally used a CDN cannot use the same vendor to accelerate the CDN of IPV 6. However, to simultaneously CNAME different CDN vendors for IPV6 and IPV4 users, respectively, this existing DNS system does not support, and thus the customer cannot select different CDN vendors for IPV6 and IPV 4.
The following difficulties exist when customers need to target IPV6 and IPV4CDN acceleration simultaneously:
1. the customer cannot separately CNAME to different CDN vendors for IPV6 and IPV4 users;
2. existing serving CDN vendors cannot support IPV 6;
3. the existing DNS system cannot return CNAME to one of IPV6 and IPV4 and return A record or AAAA record, and cannot distinguish that IPv4 users and IPv6 users return different CNAME records.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at the defects in the prior art, the invention provides a management method and a system for IPv4 and IPv6 DNS unified access, a service provider can access to the IPV6/IPV4DNS unified access management system in a unified CNAME mode, and the feasibility of accelerating the selection of different CDN manufacturers for IPV6 and IPV4 users is solved.
The management method for IPv4 and IPv6 DNS unified access comprises the following steps:
acquiring domain name query information initiated by a user;
when receiving the domain name query information, judging and analyzing the domain name query information;
and if the domain name query information initiator is an IPv4 user, performing DNS analysis on the user through a CNAME domain name of the CDN supporting IPv4 and returning an analysis result, and if the domain name query information initiator is an IPv6 user, returning a node IP of the CDN supporting IPv6 to the user.
The invention can realize the acceleration of CDN of different users according to differentiating IPv4 users and IPv6 users, because the protocol supported by the existing service provider is single, usually can not support IPv4 and IPv6 at the same time, and the existing DNS system can not realize that one of IPv6 and IPv4 returns CNAME, the other returns A or AAAA record, can not differentiate IPv4 users and IPv6 users and return different CNAME records, can solve the above problems through the invention, when actually using, for example, the service provider does not have IPv6, differentiate IPv4 users and IPv6 users, return CDN my edge node to IPv6 users; and for the IPv4 user, performing DNS resolution again by using the CNAME domain name of the service provider informed by the user, and returning the resolution result to the IPv4 user. So that the IPv6 user accesses the CDN node of my party and the IPv4 user accesses the CDN node of the service provider.
Further, the specific judgment mode of the domain name query information is as follows: when a user initiates DNS query, judging through query types, if the query result is AAAA record query, returning a CDN node IP provided with IPv6, if the query result is A record query, returning a node IP obtained by CNAME domain name resolution of a CDN provided with IPv4, and if the query result is ANY record query, simultaneously returning a CDN node IP of IPv6 and a node IP obtained by CNAME domain name resolution of a CDN of IPv 4.
Further, in order to improve the response speed, when a plurality of CDN nodes of IPv6 exist at the same time and a user initiates a DNSAAAA query, the CDN node IP of the nearest IPv6 is returned.
Further, if the query result is an ANY record query, the CDN node IP supporting IPv6 and IPv4 is returned at the same time.
Further, when the CDNs of IPv4 and IPv6 are used simultaneously, the domain name to be accessed accesses the primary entry domain name of the CDN of IPv6 by means of CNAME.
Further, when the user is an IPv4 user, the edge node IP of the CNAME domain name of the CDN supporting IPv4 is resolved.
Further, when the user is an IPv6 user, the CDN edge node IP of IPv6 is returned.
The management system for the IPv4 and IPv6 DNS unified access comprises a DNS server, a CDN supporting IPv4 and a CDN supporting IPv6, wherein the DNS server is used for analyzing domain name query information initiated by a user.
Further, when the user is an IPv6 user, the DNS server will return a CDN node IP supporting IPv 6.
Further, when the user is an IPv4 user, the DNS server returns a CDN node IP that is resolved by the CNAME domain name for the CDN supporting IPv 4.
The invention has the beneficial effects that:
the invention provides a management method and a system for IPv4 and IPv6 DNS unified access, a service provider can access to the IPV6 and IPV4DNS unified access management system in a unified CNAME mode, and the feasibility of accelerating the selection of different CDN manufacturers by users of IPV6 and IPV4 is solved; the service provider or the user can use the CDN supporting the IPv6 on the original basis, so that the construction cost is reduced.

The following examples are only for illustrating the technical solutions of the present invention more clearly, and therefore are only examples, and the protection scope of the present invention is not limited thereby.
It is to be noted that, unless otherwise specified, technical or scientific terms used herein shall have the ordinary meaning as understood by those skilled in the art to which the invention pertains.
Examples
The management method for the uniform DNS access of IPv4 and IPv6 is characterized by comprising the following steps:
acquiring domain name query information initiated by a user;
when receiving the domain name query information, judging and analyzing the domain name query information;
and if the domain name query information initiator is an IPv4 user, performing DNS analysis on the user through a CNAME domain name of the CDN supporting IPv4 and returning an analysis result, and if the domain name query information initiator is an IPv6 user, returning a node IP of the CDN supporting IPv6 to the user.
In this embodiment, the present invention may return the CDN edge node of my party for the IPv6 user according to distinguishing the IPv4 user from the IPv6 user; and for the IPv4 client, performing DNS resolution again by using a CNAME domain name of a service provider informed by the client, and returning a resolution result to the IPv4 user. So that the IPv6 user accesses the CDN node of my party and the IPv4 user accesses the CDN node of the service provider. And distinguishing IPv4 users and IPv6 users, and analyzing CDN edge node IPs provided with services by different CDN manufacturers. The patent assumes that a customer uses an original CDN manufacturer to perform the CDN acceleration of IPv4, and selects one manufacturer to perform the CDN acceleration of IPv 6. Under the condition that the customer does not want to perform IPv4CDN service migration temporarily, the domain name CNAME can be analyzed to a primary entry domain name of the CDN of the user, and then the user knows that the domain name of the user is the CNAME domain name of the original IPv4CDN manufacturer. By the management method of the IPv4 and IPv6 for DNS unified access, the DNS of the owner can be used for IPv6 analysis and the DNS of the original CDN manufacturer can be used for management by IPv 4.
The specific judgment mode of the domain name query information is as follows: when a user initiates DNS query, judging through query types, if the query result is AAAA record query, returning a CDN node IP provided with IPv6, if the query result is A record query, returning a node IP obtained by CNAME domain name resolution of a CDN provided with IPv4, and if the query result is ANY record query, simultaneously returning a CDN node IP of IPv6 and a node IP obtained by CNAME domain name resolution of a CDN of IPv 4.
When a plurality of CDN nodes of IPv6 exist at the same time and a user initiates a DNS AAAA query, the CDN node IP of the nearest IPV6 is returned.
And if the query result is ANY record query, returning CDN node IP supporting IPv6 and IPv 4.
When the CDNs of IPv4 and IPv6 are used simultaneously, the domain name to be accessed accesses the primary entrance domain name of the CDN of IPv6 in a CNAME mode.
And when the user is an IPv4 user, analyzing the edge node IP of the CNAME domain name of the CDN supporting IPv 4. And when the user is the IPv6 user, returning to the CDN edge node IP of the IPv 6.
The management system for the IPv4 and IPv6 DNS unified access comprises a DNS server, a CDN supporting IPv4 and a CDN supporting IPv6, wherein the DNS server is used for analyzing domain name query information initiated by a user. When the user is an IPv6 user, the DNS server returns a CDN node IP supporting IPv 6. And when the user is an IPv4 user, the DNS server returns the node IP which is analyzed by the CDN supporting the IPv4 through the CNAME domain name.
As shown in fig. 1, in this embodiment, the IPV4 and IPV6 DNS unified access management system is configured as an IPV4/IPV6 DNS unified access management device (DNS server, hereinafter referred to as my party or device), a user first initiates DNS resolution on an accessed domain name, because the client sends a domain name CNAME to a first-level domain name entry of my party, and therefore the DNS server managed by the client returns the domain name after CNAME to the user. For example: user dig www.example.com returns a CNAME record www.example.com.glvs.com.
The user initiates www.example.com.glvs.com DNS query of domain name again, the DNS query is processed by IPV4/IPV6 DNS unified access management device;
the IPV4/IPV6 DNS unified access management device can distinguish the types of DNS queries and return different query results;
if the query is AAAA record query, returning IPV6 CDN node IP of the client;
if it is an A record query, the device will initiate a query of the CDN friend CNAME, say www.example.com.xxxx.com, assuming here that. xxxx. com is the generic domain name of the friend IPV4CDN CNAME. Then returning the returned A record analysis result to the user;
if the record is an ANY record query, the device will initiate a query of the CDN-friend CNAME, and combine the queried a record and our AAAA record to respond to the user.
Finally, it should be noted that: the above embodiments are only used to illustrate the technical solution of the present invention, and not to limit the same; while the invention has been described in detail and with reference to the foregoing embodiments, it will be understood by those skilled in the art that: the technical solutions described in the foregoing embodiments may still be modified, or some or all of the technical features may be equivalently replaced; such modifications and substitutions do not depart from the spirit and scope of the present invention, and they should be construed as being included in the following claims and description.
