The group of burners 2 is divided into two rows and symmetrically distributed on the tank wall at two sides of the first melting part 1 b. A group of smoke outlets 4 are arranged on the breast wall 1f of the melting furnace 1 above each row of burners 2, and the group of smoke outlets 4 are distributed corresponding to the burners 2 in the opposite row. One end of the smoke outlet 4 is communicated with the interior of the melting furnace 1, and the other end of the smoke outlet is communicated with the exterior of the melting furnace 1.
A set of symmetrically distributed heating electrodes 3 are arranged on the tank walls at both sides of the second melting part 1c below the liquid level of the molten glass 13, and the molten glass 13 flowing into the second melting part 1c is reheated by the heating electrodes 3 at both sides. Since the width of the charging part 1a, the width of the first melting part 1b and the width of the refining part 1d are the same as twice of the width of the original melting furnace, and the width of the second melting part 1c is smaller and the same as the width of the original melting furnace, the heating area of the melting furnace is greatly increased, and the melting capacity of the melting furnace is greatly improved. The crown 1e above the charge portion 1a, the first melting portion 1b and the refining portion 1d is wider than the crown 1g above the second melting portion 1 c.
