The invention discloses a high-strength water shutoff agent for oil extraction in oil fields and a preparation method thereof, wherein the high-strength water shutoff agent is formed by compounding OP-10, oil-soluble resin and kerosene, wherein the mass part ratio of the OP-10, the oil-soluble resin and the kerosene is OP-105%, the mass part ratio of the oil-soluble resin is 80% and the mass part ratio of the kerosene is 15%, raw materials are prepared according to the mass part ratio of the OP-105%, the oil-soluble resin is 80% and the kerosene is 15%, the raw materials are mixed according to a certain proportion and then fully stirred, the fully stirred mixture is put in a closed tank body for curing for 60 minutes, the high-strength water shutoff agent is injected into an oil reservoir in a high-permeability zone needing to be plugged by a high-pressure cement truck until the injection pressure on the ground is balanced, and then the pressure is increased. The invention firstly breaks through that other water shutoff agents enter the high permeability zone oil deposit, and the high strength water shutoff agent is dissolved due to the flowing of crude oil when an oil well is exploited, thereby achieving the purpose of water shutoff and oil non-shutoff.
