Description

Master and slave priority control method and device based on static link aggregation group
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of network communication technologies, and in particular, to a master/slave priority control method and device based on a static link aggregation group.
Background
Link Aggregation (Link Aggregation) refers to binding a plurality of physical ports together to form a logical port so as to realize load sharing of the ingress/egress traffic among the member ports, and the switch determines from which member port a message is sent to the opposite switch according to a port load sharing policy configured by a user. When the switch detects that the link of the main member port has a fault, the standby member port is selected to send a message according to the load sharing strategy, so that the switching of the main member port and the standby member port is realized, and the connectivity of the link is finally ensured.
The Link Aggregation includes dynamic Link Aggregation and static Link Aggregation, in the dynamic Link Aggregation, the switching devices at two ends negotiate port Aggregation through an interactive LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol) Protocol message, and the switches at two ends exchange port state information mutually to keep the port states consistent; in static link aggregation, however, the switching devices at both ends do not need to negotiate link information using a link aggregation control protocol. Compared with static link aggregation, dynamic link aggregation is relatively complex to implement, and it is required to ensure that switching devices at two ends can support a complete LACP function, so as to maintain port state change specified by an LACP protocol, and dynamic link aggregation relies on LACP protocol messages to perform auto-negotiation, and the intervention degree of a manager on a master member port and a standby member port in an aggregation group is limited to a certain extent, so that the manager cannot flexibly control the master member port and the standby member port in the aggregation group according to actual requirements.

Detailed Description
The technical solution of the embodiment of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the accompanying drawings of the present invention.
The method for controlling the master and standby priority based on the static link aggregation group can realize the flexible control of the master and standby member ports in the aggregation group by flexibly configuring the priority of the member ports in the static link aggregation group.
As shown in fig. 1, a method for controlling master/slave priorities based on a static link aggregation group disclosed in the present invention includes the following steps:
s100, configuring the priority of any one or more member ports in the static link aggregation group;
specifically, the static link aggregation group includes a plurality of member ports, and in implementation, priority configuration may be performed on any one or more member ports in the static link aggregation group according to actual needs (if one or more ports in the static link aggregation group are set as Active ports), and the member ports configured with priority may include a member Port newly added to the static link aggregation group.
S200, sequencing all member ports in the static link aggregation group according to priority;
specifically, the switch may determine which ports are used as Active ports (Active ports) of Port aggregation according to the priority of the member ports, and in general, the switch uses a plurality of member ports with higher priority as Active ports of Port aggregation, that is, sets the plurality of member ports with higher priority to be in an Active (Active) state, and sets the rest of the member ports to be in a backup (Standby) state. The member port in the active state can normally forward the message and can perform load balancing through a static load balancing algorithm, while the member port in the backup state can discard all messages in the message receiving direction and does not forward the message outwards in the message sending direction.
When the priority of any one or more member ports in the static link aggregation group is configured according to actual requirements, the priority of the member ports is changed, all the member ports in the static link aggregation group need to be sequenced according to the priority, and the member ports with the same priority are sequenced according to Port index numbers. In other embodiments, the member ports with the same priority may be sorted from high to low in priority, and sorted from small to large in port index number.
S300, judging whether the member port configured with the priority in the step S100 is in M ports with relatively high priority, if so, executing the step S400, otherwise, setting the member port configured with the priority in the step S100 to be in a backup state;
specifically, after all the member ports in the static link aggregation group are sorted according to the priority in step S200, it is further determined whether the member port configured with the priority is in M ports with relatively high priorities after sorting. For a member port not in M ports with relatively high priority, which indicates that it does not need to be an active port (ActivePort) for port aggregation, the member port is further set to a backup state, so that it will discard all messages in the message receiving direction, and does not forward the messages outwards in the message sending direction, where M is the maximum number of member ports allowed to be in the active state, and can be set according to actual requirements.
And S400, judging whether M member ports in the static link aggregation group are in an active state, if so, setting the member port configured with the priority in the step S100 to be in the active state through a preemption mode, and setting the preempted member port to be in a backup state, otherwise, setting the member port configured with the priority in the step S100 to be in the active state.
Specifically, in the port aggregation process, the number of the member ports in the active state cannot exceed M, where M is the maximum number of the member ports allowed to be in the active state, and the remaining member ports are in the backup state. After the member port configured with the priority in step S100 is determined to be in the M ports with relatively higher priority, it is further determined whether M member ports in the static link aggregation group are in an active state, when the M member ports are in the active state, the member port configured with the priority in step S100 is set to be in the active state through a preemption mode, otherwise, that is, no M member ports are in the active state, the member port configured with the priority in step S100 is directly set to be in the active state.
In this embodiment, the preemption mode is to set M member ports with relatively high priority levels to an active state, and set the remaining member ports to a backup state. In implementation, after the priorities of the member ports in the static link aggregation group are changed and sorted by the priorities and the port index numbers, the M member ports with relatively high priorities can be set in an active state by a preemption mode, and the rest ports are set in a backup state.
As shown in fig. 2, the present invention further discloses a master/slave priority control apparatus based on a static link aggregation group, which includes a configuration module, a sorting module, a first determining module, a second determining module, a first port state module, a second port state module, and a third port state module, where the configuration module is configured to configure the priority of any one or more member ports in the static link aggregation group; the sorting module is used for sorting all the member ports in the static link aggregation group according to the priority, and sorting the member ports with the same priority according to the port index numbers; the first judging module is used for judging whether the member port with the configured priority is in M ports with relatively higher priorities or not; the second judging module is used for judging whether M member ports in the static link aggregation group are in an active state or not when the first judging module judges that the member ports with the configured priorities are in M ports with relatively higher priorities; the first port state module is used for setting the member ports with the configuration priorities as backup states when the first judging module judges that the member ports with the configuration priorities are not at the M ports with relatively higher priorities; the second port state module is used for setting the member port configured with the priority into an active state through a preemption mode and setting the preempted member port into a backup state when the second judging module judges that M member ports in the static link aggregation group are in the active state; and the third port state module is used for setting the member ports with the configured priorities as the active state when the second judging module judges that no M member ports in the static link aggregation group are in the active state.
When the method is implemented, a configuration module carries out priority configuration on any one or more member ports in a static link aggregation group according to actual requirements, a sorting module further sorts all the member ports in the static link aggregation group according to priorities, and the member ports with the same priority are sorted according to port index numbers, a first judgment module further judges whether the member ports with the configured priorities are in M ports with relatively higher priorities, if so, a second judgment module judges whether the M member ports in the static link aggregation group are in an active state, otherwise, the first port state module sets the member ports with the configured priorities to a backup state.
When the second judging module judges that M member ports in the static link aggregation group are in an active state, the second port module sets the member ports configured with the priority to be in the active state through the preemption mode, and the preempted member ports are set to be in a backup state, otherwise, the third port state module directly sets the member ports configured with the priority to be in the active state, M is the maximum number of the member ports allowed to be in the active state, and the setting can be carried out according to actual requirements.
In this embodiment, the configuration module may configure the member ports with priority to include the member port newly added to the static link aggregation group; the sorting module preferably sorts the ports according to priority from low to high, and the member ports with the same priority are sorted according to Port index numbers from large to small, the member ports with higher priority can become Active ports (Active ports) of Port aggregation, and the ports with smaller Port index numbers can become Active ports (Active ports) of Port aggregation when the priority is the same; the preemption mode is that M member ports with relatively high priority are set to be in an active state, and the rest member ports are set to be in a backup state.
The invention can make the manager flexibly control the main member port and the standby member port in the static link aggregation group by configuring the priority of the member port in the static link aggregation, and the value of the static link aggregation group for providing high link reliability can not be lost, and the protocol message interaction is not needed in the control process of the main member port and the standby member port, the negotiation behavior at two ends of the aggregation group is not needed, and the configuration behavior is only at one end of the static link aggregation group.
Meanwhile, the aggregation group flow control behavior required by management personnel can be achieved by flexibly configuring the priority of any member port in the static link aggregation group, and the original common static link aggregation group behavior is not influenced.
Therefore, the scope of the present invention should not be limited to the disclosure of the embodiments, but includes various alternatives and modifications without departing from the scope of the present invention, which is defined by the claims of the present patent application.
