When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of devices consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure as recited in the claims below.
The disclosed embodiment provides a display screen, and fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of a display screen according to an exemplary embodiment. Referring to fig. 1, a display panel includes a substrate 10 and a display layer panel 20. Wherein the display layer 20 comprises a main display area 21 and a sub display area 22.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the main display area 21 and the sub display area 22 each have a display function. The number of the sub display regions 22 may be one or more. In fig. 1, the number of the sub display regions 22 is schematically illustrated as 1.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the display layer 20 includes two different types of display regions, namely, a main display region 21 and a sub display region 22, but the main display region 21 and the sub display region 22 are physically integrated, that is, the display layer 20 is an integrated structure, which is not divided into a plurality of independent components.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the light transmittance of the sub display region 22 is better than that of the main display region 21, for example, the light transmittance of the sub display region 22 is greater than that of the main display region 21. Optionally, the light transmittance of the sub-display region 22 is greater than 30% to meet the requirement of normal operation of the camera and other devices. In practical applications, suitable materials, suitable processes, or suitable pixel distribution patterns may be selected according to the requirement of the device under the sub-display region for light transmittance, so as to produce the sub-display region 22 meeting the requirement of light transmittance.
In one example, functional devices may be disposed below the sub display area 22. Wherein the functional device may comprise at least one of: camera, earphone, light sensor, distance sensor, biosensor, environmental sensor, food safety detection sensor, health sensor, optical emitter. Wherein, the camera can be one or more in ordinary camera, infrared camera, degree of depth camera, structured light camera and the TOF camera for realize shooting the function. The earphone is used for realizing the sound playing function. The light sensor is used for collecting the intensity of ambient light. The distance sensor is used for acquiring the distance of the front object. The biometric sensor is used for recognizing the biometric features of the user, such as a fingerprint recognition sensor, an iris recognition sensor, and the like. The environment sensor is used for collecting environment information, such as a temperature sensor, a humidity sensor, an air pressure sensor and the like. The food safety detection sensor is used for detecting indexes of harmful substances in food, such as an optical sensor, a biological recognition sensor and the like. The health sensor is used for collecting health information of a user, such as a sensor for collecting heart rate, blood pressure, heartbeat or other human body data of the user. An optical emitter is a functional device for emitting light, such as an infrared emitter or some emitter for emitting other light.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, since a portion of the functional devices requires light when operating, the light transmittance of the sub display region 12 is superior to that of the main display region 11. Optionally, the light transmittance of the sub-display area 12 is greater than 30% to meet the requirement of the camera and other devices on light transmittance. In practical applications, a suitable material, a suitable process, or a suitable pixel distribution pattern may be selected according to the requirement of the functional device below the sub-display region for light transmittance, so as to produce the sub-display region 12 meeting the requirement of light transmittance.
It can be understood that the functional device occupying the space of the display screen in the present embodiment can be disposed below the sub-display area 22, so as to maximally release the space of the display layer 20 and improve the screen occupation ratio. If the display screen has a frame, only the frame brings certain reduction to the screen occupation ratio; if the display screen does not have a frame, the screen proportion can reach percent, and the full screen in the true sense is realized.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, since the functional device requires light when operating, the operating state of the sub display region 22 can be adjusted according to the operating state of the functional device. For example, when the functional device has a need of collecting images, the auxiliary display area 22 can be controlled to be in a closed state, so that light rays can enter the functional device through the auxiliary display area, and the auxiliary display area 22 does not display, so that the interference to the light rays can be reduced, and the quality of collecting the images by the functional device can be guaranteed. When the functional device does not need to collect images, the auxiliary display area 22 can be controlled to be in a display state, and the display effect of the display screen is ensured.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the display layer 20 is generally controlled by a driving chip, and the driving chip includes at least one of the following: the device comprises a line scanning driving chip, a data driving chip and a power supply chip. In one example, the main display area 21 and the sub display area 22 share the same driving chip, for example, one driving chip may be divided into two parts, one part for driving the main display area 21 and the other part for driving the sub display area 22. In another example, the main display area 21 and the sub display area 22 use different driving chips, for example, the display screen includes two driving chips, one driving chip is used for driving the main display area 21, and the other driving chip is used for driving the sub display area 22. In addition, when the display layer 20 includes a plurality of sub-display regions 22, the plurality of sub-display regions 22 may share the same driving chip, or different driving chips may be used, which is not limited in this disclosure.
In the process of implementing the scheme of the embodiment of the present disclosure, the inventors found that: if the driving lines of the sub-display area 22 are led to the edge of the sub-display area and the driving lines are covered by ink, a black edge is formed between the main display area 21 and the sub-display area 22 when the display screen displays, which affects the display effect.
In order to solve the above problem, referring to fig. 2, an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a display screen further including a wiring layer 30. The wiring layer 30 has driving lines provided therein. Wherein the drive line comprises at least one of: the pixel compensation circuit comprises a connecting line, a scanning line, a data line and a power line. Technicians can set the types and the number of the driving lines in the wiring layer according to specific scenes, and the corresponding scheme falls into the protection scope of the application.
It should be noted that if the wiring layer 30 includes a plurality of driving lines, the plurality of driving lines may be formed in one layer by a single patterning process. Of course, the plurality of driving lines can also be formed into a plurality of layers by adopting a multi-time composition process, so that the overlapping effect of different driving lines is realized. The skilled person may choose according to a specific scenario, which is not limited herein.
