Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The implementations described in the exemplary embodiments below are not intended to represent all implementations consistent with the present disclosure. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the present disclosure, as detailed in the appended claims.
The technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure relates to a terminal, which can be a mobile phone, a tablet personal computer and other devices provided with a screen and having a fingerprint identification function under the screen, and the embodiment of the disclosure does not limit the functions. In the related art, the thicker the protective film, the poorer the transmittance of light, so in order to ensure high light transmittance, the thickness of the protective film used by the screen needs to be limited so that the fingerprint recognition module disposed below the screen can acquire clear fingerprint images. However, if the thickness of the protective film is small, the purpose of protecting the screen cannot be achieved. In the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the screen protection film is adopted to cover the terminal screen, when a user needs to perform fingerprint identification, a finger can be placed in the fingerprint area of the screen protection film, and the fingerprint of the finger can be transmitted to the fingerprint identification area of the terminal screen through a total reflection mode by a plurality of optical fibers arranged in the fingerprint area. Because the attenuation of the total reflection mode to light energy is less, consequently this fingerprint identification module in fingerprint identification region can acquire clear fingerprint image through gathering the light that a plurality of optical fiber propagated, and then carry out fingerprint identification, avoided the condition that fingerprint identification module can't gather clear fingerprint image when the screen protection film is thick, can improve the thickness of screen protection film as far as possible under the condition of guaranteeing the fingerprint identification success rate promptly, also improved the protection dynamics of screen protection film to the terminal screen, and then improved user experience.
The embodiment of the present disclosure provides a screen protection film 10, as shown in fig. 1, the screen protection film 10 includes an optical fiber group 101 and a fingerprint area 102. The optical fiber group 101 includes a plurality of optical fibers arranged in a thickness direction of the screen protective film 10, which may be referred to as an X direction in fig. 1; the fingerprint area 102 corresponds to an under-screen fingerprint identification area 201 of the terminal screen 20 to be protected; the set of optical fibers 101 is disposed at least in the fingerprint area 102.
The optical fiber group 101 includes a plurality of optical fibers for transmitting light from one side of the screen protection film 10 to the other side of the screen protection film 10 by total reflection.
Illustratively, the terminal screen 20 has an off-screen fingerprint identification function, that is, a fingerprint identification module 2011 is disposed below the off-screen fingerprint identification area 201 of the terminal screen 20. When the user needs to perform fingerprint recognition, the terminal may be first instructed to light the screen and then place a finger on the fingerprint recognition area 201 of the terminal screen 20. At this time, the light emitted from the terminal screen 20 illuminates the fingerprint of the finger placed on the screen, so that the fingerprint recognition module 2011 can collect a clear fingerprint image and perform fingerprint recognition. If the terminal screen 20 is covered with a protective film, the reflected light of the light emitted from the terminal screen 20 by the user's finger needs to be first propagated in the protective film before being collected by the fingerprint recognition module 2011. If the thickness of the protective film is large, the attenuation of the energy of the reflected light in the protective film may be large, and the energy of the light collected by the fingerprint recognition module 2011 is small, so that a clear fingerprint image cannot be formed. Meanwhile, the fingerprint identification module 2011 is generally a macro camera, and the depth of field of the macro camera is small, so that the object distance of the macro camera when the macro camera shoots the finger image becomes large under the condition that the protective film is thick, the depth of field requirement of the macro camera cannot be met, and a clear fingerprint image cannot be shot.
In the embodiment of the present disclosure, the optical fiber group 101 disposed in the fingerprint area 102 of the screen protection film 10 includes a plurality of optical fibers, which can transmit the light of one side of the screen protection film 10 to the other side of the screen protection film 10 by means of total reflection, as shown in fig. 2, since the attenuation of the light energy by means of total radiation is small, an object located on one side of the screen protection film 10 can form a clear real image on the other side. The screen protection film 10 is covered on the terminal screen 20, and when the user needs to perform fingerprint identification, the user can firstly instruct the terminal to light the screen and then place a finger on the fingerprint area 102 of the screen protection film 10. The light emitted from the terminal screen 20 is transmitted to the surface of the finger through the optical fiber group 101 disposed in the fingerprint area 102, and illuminates the fingerprint of the finger. The reflected light of the light by the fingerprint of the finger propagates to the side of the screen protection film 10 close to the terminal screen 20 by total reflection through the optical fiber group 101, and forms a clear real image of the finger on the side, which is the same as the fingerprint identification area 201 where the finger is directly placed on the terminal screen 20. The fingerprint recognition module 2011 disposed below the fingerprint recognition area 201 can acquire the fingerprint image of the finger by capturing the picture of the real image, and then perform fingerprint recognition.
For example, the optical fiber group 101 may include a plurality of optical fibers arranged in an array, i.e., arranged in rows and columns, respectively, to form an optical fiber array, so as to ensure that the fingerprint region 102 is covered by the optical fiber group 101. Thus, no matter where the user places a finger on the fingerprint area 102, fingerprint recognition can be performed.
Optionally, the optical fiber group 101 includes optical fibers having a diameter-to-depth ratio greater than or equal to 1/10. At an aspect ratio of 1/10 or more, the light propagating in the optical fiber can be totally reflected without causing attenuation of the light energy.
Alternatively, when the aspect ratio of the optical fiber is greater than or equal to 1/10, the diameter of the optical fiber may be in a range of greater than or equal to 5 micrometers and less than or equal to 50 micrometers. Preferably, the optical fiber may be 5 μm, and the smaller the diameter of the optical fiber, the better the display effect of the terminal screen 20 covered with the screen protective film 10.
By way of example, the optical fiber may be a glass optical fiber or a plastic optical fiber, which is not limited in the embodiments of the present disclosure.
In the technical solution provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure, the screen protection film 10 is used to cover the terminal screen 20, when a user needs to perform fingerprint identification, a finger can be placed in the fingerprint area 102 of the screen protection film 10, and the plurality of optical fibers arranged in the fingerprint area 102 can transmit the fingerprint of the finger to the fingerprint identification area 201 of the terminal screen 20 in a total reflection manner. Because the attenuation of total reflection mode to light is less, consequently clear fingerprint image can be acquireed through the light of gathering a plurality of optical fiber propagation to this fingerprint identification module 2011 of fingerprint identification region 201, and then carry out fingerprint identification, the condition that clear fingerprint image can't be gathered to fingerprint identification module 2011 when screen protection film 10 is thick has been avoided, can improve the thickness of screen protection film 10 as far as possible under the circumstances of guaranteeing the fingerprint identification success rate promptly, the protection dynamics of screen protection film 10 to terminal screen 20 has also been improved, and then user experience has been improved.
In one embodiment, as shown in fig. 3, the screen protection film 10 further includes a display area 103, and the display area 103 corresponds to other areas of the terminal screen 20 to be protected except for the area of the fingerprint recognition under the screen; the optical fiber group 101 is also disposed in the display area 103.
For example, since all areas of the terminal screen 20 can be displayed with images, if the optical fiber group 101 is disposed only in the fingerprint area 102 of the screen protection film 10 and not disposed in the display area 103, the display effect of the terminal screen 20 covered with the screen protection film 10 in the area corresponding to the fingerprint area 102 and the display area 103 may be inconsistent, which may affect the user experience. Therefore, the optical fiber group 101 can be disposed in the display area 103 of the terminal screen 20, i.e. the fingerprint area 102 and the display area 103 have the same structure, so that the display effect of the terminal screen 20 in the area corresponding to the fingerprint area 102 and the display area 103 can be uniform.
In the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the screen protection film 10 is adopted to cover the terminal screen 20, the display area 103 and the fingerprint area 102 have the same structure, so that the uniformity of screen display effects is ensured and the user experience is improved under the condition of meeting the requirement of fingerprint identification.
The embodiment of the present disclosure provides a terminal, and a screen of the terminal may be covered with the screen protection film 10 described in any of the above embodiments.
The screen protective film 10 includes an optical fiber group 101 and a fingerprint area 102. The optical fiber group 101 includes a plurality of optical fibers arranged in the thickness direction of the screen protective film 10; the fingerprint area 102 corresponds to a sub-screen fingerprint identification area of the terminal screen 20 to be protected by the screen protection film 10; the set of optical fibers 101 is disposed at least in the fingerprint area 102.
The optical fiber group 101 includes a plurality of optical fibers that can transmit light from one side of the screen protection film 10 to the other side of the screen protection film 10 by total reflection.
Optionally, the screen protection film 10 further includes a display area 103, where the display area 103 corresponds to other areas of the terminal screen 20 to be protected except for the area of the fingerprint identification area under the screen; the optical fiber group 101 may also be disposed in the display area 103 to ensure the display effect of the terminal.
In the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the disclosure, the screen protection film 10 is covered on the screen of the terminal, so that the screen protection film can play a role in protecting the screen. Meanwhile, when a user needs to perform fingerprint identification, a finger can be placed in the fingerprint area 102 of the screen protection film 10, and the plurality of optical fibers arranged in the fingerprint area 102 can transmit the fingerprint of the finger to the fingerprint identification area of the terminal screen 20 through total reflection. Because the total reflection mode is less to the decay of light energy, consequently this fingerprint identification module in fingerprint identification region can acquire clear fingerprint image through the light of gathering a plurality of optical fiber propagation, and then carries out fingerprint identification, has avoided fingerprint identification module can't gather the condition of clear fingerprint image when screen protection film 10 is thick, has improved user experience.
Other embodiments of the disclosure will be apparent to those skilled in the art from consideration of the specification and practice of the disclosure disclosed herein. This application is intended to cover any variations, uses, or adaptations of the disclosure following, in general, the principles of the disclosure and including such departures from the present disclosure as come within known or customary practice within the art to which the disclosure pertains.
