Description

Binder for formaldehyde-free rock wool, formaldehyde-free rock wool and preparation method of binder
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of rock wool production, in particular to a binder for formaldehyde-free rock wool, formaldehyde-free rock wool and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Along with the gradual improvement of life, the quality requirements of people on life are higher and higher, and especially, harmful substances such as formaldehyde, VOC and the like in families or working environments are concerned.
Because the binder used in the current mainstream rock wool product is phenolic resin, which is synthesized from phenol and formaldehyde, the phenolic resin can generate toxic and harmful gases such as formaldehyde and phenol and harmful substances such as formaldehyde and phenol remained in the rock wool product when being affected by temperature in the process of fiber forming and curing of rock wool. The formaldehyde is easily volatilized in the production and use processes of the rock wool, and certain harm is caused to the health of human bodies.
In addition, some rock wool manufacturers try to use pure acrylic-based resins or pure bio-based resins as the resins used to produce formaldehyde-free rock wool, but pure acrylic-based resins have the problem of difficult curing during the production of rock wool, whereas pure bio-based resins, although easy to cure during the production of rock wool, are prone to moisture absorption by the rock wool product.

stirring 92 parts by mass of water, 1 part by mass of coupling agent, 1 part by mass of water repellent, 1 part by mass of dustproof oil and 5 parts by mass of resin in the embodiment for 20 minutes to obtain the formaldehyde binder in the embodiment.
The rock wool is mainly prepared from the following components in parts by mass:
50 parts by mass of basalt
20 parts by mass of dolomite
10 parts by mass of slag
10 parts by mass of coke
20 parts of the binder.
A preparation method of rock wool comprises the following steps:
(1) melting 50 parts by mass of basalt, 10 parts by mass of dolomite, 20 parts by mass of slag and 10 parts by mass of coke into fluid at the temperature of about 1300 ℃; (in this example, the raw materials may be transported to a cupola or an electric furnace by a conveyor belt and melted)
(2) Then, 20 parts by mass of a binder and the fluid in the step (1) are input into a four-roller centrifuge and sprayed into fibers;
(3) the fibers prepared in the step (2) sequentially pass through a collector and a curing furnace, and are finally cured and molded, wherein the temperature of an air inlet in the curing furnace is 230 ℃, and the temperature of an air outlet in the curing furnace is 180 ℃;
(4) and cutting and packaging after curing.
As shown in FIG. 3, the rock wool board of the embodiment has soft hardness and severe layering, and cannot meet the requirements of construction application.
Comparative example 4
The difference from the above example 1 is that the resin of this example is pure bio-based resin, not formaldehyde-free resin of the present invention, and the specific steps are as follows:
the formaldehyde-free rock wool binder is prepared by mixing the following components in parts by mass:
acrylic acid based resin 5 parts
92 portions of water
1 part of coupling agent
1 part of water repellent
1 part of dustproof oil;
the preparation method of the rock wool binder comprises the following steps:
92 parts by mass of water, 1 part by mass of coupling agent, 1 part by mass of water repellent, 1 part by mass of dustproof oil and 5 parts by mass of bio-based resin are stirred for 20 minutes to obtain the rock wool binder of the embodiment.
The rock wool of the embodiment is mainly prepared from the following components in parts by mass:
50 parts by mass of basalt
20 parts by mass of dolomite
10 parts by mass of slag
10 parts by mass of coke
And 20 parts by mass of bio-based resin.
The preparation method of the rock wool provided by the embodiment comprises the following steps:
(1) melting 50 parts by mass of basalt, 10 parts by mass of dolomite, 20 parts by mass of slag and 10 parts by mass of coke into fluid at the temperature of about 1300 ℃; (in this example, the raw materials may be transported to a cupola or an electric furnace by a conveyor belt and melted)
(2) Then, 20 parts by mass of the binder and the fluid in the step (1) are input into a four-roller centrifuge and sprayed into fibers;
(3) the fibers prepared in the step (2) sequentially pass through a collector and a curing furnace, and are finally cured and molded, wherein the temperature of an air inlet in the curing furnace is 230 ℃, and the temperature of an air outlet in the curing furnace is 180 ℃;
(4) and cutting and packaging after curing.
The rock wool board hardness of this embodiment is softer, and the layering is severe, can not satisfy construction application demand. As shown in fig. 3.
Adopts Wanhua acrylic acid AA and a novel bio-based product 'bio-propylene glycol' which is prepared from starch corn by DuPont company. The resin for rock wool according to the invention cannot be produced.
In conclusion, the formaldehyde-free rock wool binder prepared by mixing the acrylic-based resin and the bio-based resin not only solves the problem that rock wool products contain formaldehyde, but also solves the problems that rock wool produced by using the acrylic-based resin is difficult to cure and the water absorption rate of rock wool products produced by using the bio-based resin is high.
