In one implementation scenario, with the development of the ABC (AI, Big Data, Cloud) technology, processing operation, deep learning, AI analysis, and the like on Big Data, the operation capability of the CPU cannot meet the demand, and the operation capability of the GPU well solves the problem of insufficient operation capability of the CPU, thereby implementing functions such as machine learning and computer vision.
Referring to fig. 1, in a current application scenario, a GPU module is generally vertically placed in a chassis, a GPU card 10 of the GPU module is in a vertical state, when the GPU module is installed, a gold finger 101 is inserted into a connector 301 on a bottom plate 30, and a clamping mechanism 40 is inserted into a sheet metal part of the chassis, so that the GPU module is fastened through a screw 20.
Because the installation is vertical, golden finger 101 and connector 301 cooperation of GPU module are closely, when GPU module work produced the vibration, because the weight of GPU module acts on connector 301 perpendicularly, transmit on bottom plate 30, can not cause too big injury to golden finger 101 and connector 301.
However, as AI is applied to various communication devices, the GPU module application scenario becomes more complex, and the GPU module needs to be placed in a narrow space, and the GPU module needs to be placed horizontally due to the limitation of the height and size of the GPU module, please refer to fig. 2. The GPU card 11 of the GPU module is in a horizontal state, and when the GPU module is installed, the gold finger 111 is inserted into the connector 311 on the side of the chassis, and the clamping mechanism 41 is inserted into the sheet metal part of the chassis, so that the GPU module is fastened by the screw 21.
At this time, the GPU module is in a suspended state. Influenced by the weight of the GPU module, when the equipment vibrates, the vibration amplitude of the suspended part of the unfixed GPU module is large, so that the vibration amplitude of the whole GPU card is increased, and further the golden finger 111 and the connector 311 are influenced inevitably to be influenced by the vibration of the GPU module, so that damage is caused, and the performance of the equipment is influenced.
The GPU is only one of the plug-in cards, different plug-in cards with multiple functions can be realized in the case, the plug-in cards can face the situation that part of the plug-in cards are in a suspension state, once the equipment works to generate vibration, the suspension part can face larger vibration amplitude to further influence the stability of the connecting piece of the equipment and the case, and the contact connection between the plug-in cards and the case is influenced to further influence the performance of the equipment. This effect may be referred to as a floating effect. Simultaneously, unsettled influence can appear when not only plug-in card horizontal installation, and unsettled influence also can appear in vertical the placing of plug-in card. For the case of full card insertion into the chassis, the unsupported portion in the middle may also face the floating effect.
In view of the above, referring to fig. 2 and 3, the present disclosure provides a card insertion support 51, which includes a connector, a support body, a contact platform and a fastener.
The card of the present disclosure is described by taking GPU as an example, but the card is not limited to GPU, and the technical solution of the present disclosure can be applied to any situation where the card is fixed on an external object and the connection portion is affected by the card vibration.
The connecting piece is used for connecting the support body and an external object; in one embodiment, the support body is detachably connected with an external object; the support body can also be fixedly connected with an external object; in one embodiment, the external object is the chassis base 31; the present embodiment will be described with the chassis base 31 as an external object.
In one embodiment, the connecting member may be connected to an external object in a threaded manner, wherein a threaded hole may be formed in the external object, a thread may be formed in the connecting member, the connecting member is inserted into the threaded hole of the external object, and the supporting member is rotated to fixedly connect the supporting member to the base plate; in one embodiment, the connecting piece can also be connected with an external object through the adapter piece, so that the support piece is fixedly connected with the external object; are not described in detail herein; the support member 51 shown in fig. 3 is fixed by providing a screw thread on the connection piece 511 to match with the screw hole on the base plate 31.
The connecting piece and the supporting body can be fixedly connected or movably connected, and the connecting piece can be used for connecting the supporting body with an external object and then enabling the supporting body to be in a fixed state.
The support body extends from the connecting piece to a card installation plane, and the card installation plane is a plane corresponding to the card installation position; the plane corresponding to the installation position of the plug-in card is a plane where a flat plane of the plug-in card is located after the plug-in card is fixed on an external object;
in one embodiment, when the card is horizontally placed, the plane where the lower plane of the card is located can be used as the plane corresponding to the installation position of the card;
in one embodiment, the card has a circle of protrusions surrounding the side surface of the card, and the plane of the protrusion 110 of the card can be regarded as a plane corresponding to the installation position of the card;
referring to fig. 2, in one embodiment, when the card is a GPU, an edge of a PCB in the GPU module protrudes from a side surface of the GPU, that is, the protruding portion is an edge of the PCB, and a plane where the edge of the PCB is located can be regarded as a plane corresponding to the mounting position of the card.
In one embodiment, referring to fig. 2, the supporting member 51 is fixedly connected to the chassis base plate 31 through the connecting member 511, and the supporting member 512 extends from the connecting member 511 into the chassis to reach a plane corresponding to the mounting position of the card;
the contact table is arranged on the support body and is in contact with the plug-in card when the plug-in card is fixed, and a contact table surface of the contact table is in contact with the plug-in card; referring to fig. 2, in one embodiment, when the card is a GPU and the GPU is installed and fixed, the edge of the PCB in the GPU module contacts and adheres to the contact pads of the contact pads 513.
In one embodiment, the contact platform is a step surface provided on the support body and capable of contacting with the card. Referring to fig. 3, the body of the support body 512 forms a step surface at the support body extension 5120 as a contact platform 513. The lateral dimension of the support body extension 5120 is smaller than that of the body of the support body 512, and thus, the step surface is a concave surface. In one embodiment, the support extension 5120 and the support 512 extend concentrically, and the step surface is a concave ring surface.
In one embodiment, the lateral dimension of the support body extension portion may be larger than the lateral dimension of the support body, and thus, the step surface is a convex surface. In one embodiment, the support extension and the support extend concentrically, and the step surface is a convex ring surface.
No matter whether the step surface is a concave surface or a convex surface, the position relation between the support body extension part and the support body is concentric or not, as long as the step surface can be stably contacted with the plug-in card, and the shape and the size of the step surface are not limited.
The fastener is arranged at a position, opposite to the contact platform, of the support body far away from the end of the connecting piece, and the fastener can movably adjust the distance between the fastener and the contact platform so as to enable the plug-in card to be fixedly contacted with the contact platform.
In one embodiment, referring to fig. 3, the support body 512 is provided with a support body extension 5120 at one end where the contact platform 513 is provided, and the support body extension 5120 extends from the contact platform 513 to the outside of the support body 512; in cooperation with the fastener 514, a groove is provided. After the card is contacted with the contact pad, the groove of the fastener 514 is engaged with the support body extension 5120, and the distance between the fastener 514 and the contact pad 513 is adjusted to make the card fixedly contact with the contact pad 513.
In one embodiment, the fastener 514 is threadably engaged with the support body 512 to adjust the distance between the fastener 514 and the contact block 513. In one embodiment, the fastener 514 is a hex socket.
In one embodiment, referring to fig. 4, the supporting member 52 is fixed to an external object by a connecting member 521, and the supporting member 522 is provided with a groove at one end where the contact stage 523 is provided, and the groove extends from the contact stage 523 to the inside of the supporting member 522; in cooperation therewith, the fastening member 524 is provided with a fastening member protrusion 5240.
After the card is in contact with the contact pad, the distance between the fastening member 524 and the contact pad 523 is adjusted by fitting the fastening protrusion 5240 with the groove of the support body 522, so that the card is in fixed contact with the contact pad 523. In one embodiment, the support body groove may be disposed concentrically with the support body, forming an annular edge on the support body.
As described above, the support body is provided with the extension portion, when the support body extension portion is engaged with the fastener recess, the positional relationship between the support body extension portion and the support body is not limited to a concentric circle or not, as long as the step surface can be stably contacted with the plug-in card, the support body extension portion can be engaged with the fastener recess to fix the plug-in card, and there is no limitation on the positional relationship between the support body extension portion and the support member, and the shapes and sizes of the support body extension portion and the fastener recess.
The groove is formed in the support body, when the groove of the support body is matched with the convex part of the fastener, the position relation between the groove of the support body and the body of the support body is not limited to be concentric circle arrangement or not, the groove of the support body can be matched with the convex part of the fastener to fix the plug-in card as long as the step surface can be stably contacted with the plug-in card, and the position relation between the groove of the support body and the shapes and the sizes of the groove of the support body and the convex part of the fastener are not limited.
In one embodiment, the fastener is matched with the support body through structures such as threads, buckles, hooks and the like, and the distance between the fastener and the contact platform is adjusted. In one embodiment, the fasteners 514, 524 are hex sockets. The fixing mode and the shape of the fastener are not limited as long as the fastener can fix the plug-in card after contacting with the contact platform.
The present disclosure also provides a communication device, please refer to fig. 2, including a chassis, a card, and a card support member as described in any of the foregoing, the card support member being mounted to the chassis.
In one embodiment, the card support member is mounted to a backplane of the chassis.
The card may be mounted vertically in the chassis or horizontally. The technical scheme of the disclosure can be adopted on occasions where vibration can be generated during work and the non-fixed end is supported.
The support member provided by the embodiment of the present disclosure may be a metal member, or may be made of other materials as long as the structure and function of the support member of the present disclosure can be achieved.
The technical scheme provided by the disclosure at least brings the following beneficial effects:

the fastener is arranged at a position, opposite to the contact platform, of the support body far away from the end of the connecting piece, and the fastener can movably adjust the distance between the fastener and the contact platform so as to enable the plug-in card to be fixedly contacted with the contact platform.

7. A paddle-card support according to claim 5 or 6, wherein the fastener is threaded to engage the support body to adjust the distance between the fastener and the contact pad.
8. The paddle-card support of claim 1, wherein the fastener is a hex sleeve.
9. A paddle-card support according to claim 1, wherein the connector is connected to the exterior by means of an adaptor or a screw thread.
10. A communication device comprising a chassis, a card, and the card support of any of claims 1-9, the card support being mounted to the chassis.
