The invention provides a novel crack paint for ceramic surface decoration and a preparation method thereof, wherein the crack paint comprises the following components in parts by weight: 30-55 parts of polyurethane resin; 20-40 parts of epoxy resin; 4-7 parts of a pigment; 10-18 parts of a solvent; 0.5-2 parts of an auxiliary agent; 6-12 parts of a curing agent. The crackle paint disclosed by the invention has the advantages of attractiveness of ceramic crackle paint, avoidance of high-temperature roasting, reduction of energy consumption, good decorative effect, attractiveness and environmental friendliness, simple preparation method, capability of large-scale production and suitability for popularization.

Background

wherein the solid content of the polyurethane resin is more than or equal to 65 percent, and the pigment is 200-325 meshes;
the solvent is acetone; the auxiliary agent is an organic silicon defoaming agent.
The preparation method is the same as that of example 1.
