According to an aspect of embodiments of the present application, a method embodiment of a method for prompting a media content segment is provided.
Alternatively, in this embodiment, the above prompting method for media content segments may be applied to a hardware environment formed by the terminal 101 and the server 103 as shown in fig. 1. As shown in fig. 1, a server 103 is connected to a terminal 101 through a network, which may be used to provide services (e.g., media content services such as video services and audio services) for the terminal or a client installed on the terminal, and a database 105 may be provided on the server or separately from the server, and may be used to provide data storage services for the server 103, where the network includes but is not limited to: the terminal 101 is not limited to a PC, a mobile phone, a tablet computer, and the like.

The method for prompting the media content segment by the terminal 101 according to the embodiment of the present application may be executed by a client installed thereon.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart of a method for prompting an optional media content segment according to an embodiment of the present application, and as shown in fig. 2, the method may include the following steps:
step S202, the terminal obtains an account label of the target account and metadata of the target media content, wherein the account label is used for identifying the media content preferred by the target account, and the metadata is used for describing the attribute of the content segment in the target media content.
Optionally, a client for playing media content is installed on the terminal, and the client can obtain the required media content from the server; the target account, i.e. the identifier used by the client to distinguish the user, may be an account applied in the client, or may be a temporarily generated user identifier; the media content includes at least one of video, audio, and text, and the subsequent unification is described for the purpose of describing unification, taking video as an example.
The account label can be selected by the user, such as selecting a part of the shown labels in the client or inputting the label by the user; or the history data of the user can be determined, for example, when the user watches the synthesis, the synthesis has video clips of star a, star B and star C, when watching the video clips of star a and star C, the user watches the synthesis in a fast forward or dragging mode, when watching the video clip of star B, the user watches the synthesis at normal speed, and at this time, the user can use "star B" as one of the labels; similarly, metadata is data for describing a content segment, and if the content describes the related content of "star B", then "star B" may be used as its metadata, and if the content describes a piece of "laugh" content, then "laugh" may be used as its metadata, and a content segment may include one or more metadata.
Step S204, in the process of displaying the target media content to the target account, the terminal sends a prompt that the content segment to be displayed is the target content segment to the target account, and the target content segment is the content segment of which the metadata is matched with the account label.
The time of the prompt may be before the target content segment is played, e.g. 10 seconds ahead, or may be when the target content segment has just started to be played, e.g. at the start time of the target content segment.
Through the steps, in the process of playing the target media content, a prompt that the content segment to be displayed is the target content segment which is interested by the user is sent to the target account, the user does not need to carry out operations such as double-speed playing, fast forward, fast backward and the like to find the content which is interested by the user, the user can be prompted in a prompt mode that the content which is to be played is the content which is interested by the user, and the technical problem that the operation of watching the content which is interested by the user in the related technology is complex can be solved. The technical solution of the present application is further detailed below with reference to the steps shown in fig. 2.
In the technical solution provided in step S202, the account label of the target account and the metadata of the target media content are acquired.
Optionally, when acquiring the account tag of the target account, there are two ways, one of which is to acquire the account tag input by the user in real time, for example, when the user watches a video, the account tag of the target account is received on a playing device of the target media content, for example, a tag list is displayed on the client, from which the user can select a tag of interest (i.e., an account tag), and the account tag of the target account input by the user is received from an intelligent device associated with the playing device. Acquiring a pre-stored account label, and acquiring the account label of the pre-stored target account from the server according to the target account logged in by the playing device; acquiring an account label of a pre-saved target account from intelligent equipment associated with the playing equipment; and acquiring the account label of the target account which is pre-stored from the server according to the target account which is logged in the intelligent equipment.
For pre-saved account tags, several sources may be included: 1) the historical playing data of the user is obtained through analysis of the historical playing data, the historical playing data is clustered, and content segments played at a normal playing speed (namely the default playing speed of the media content) are obtained. Then, semantic analysis is carried out on the content segments, such as the analysis of characteristics of plot types, character types and the like, and the content segments with the occurrence frequency reaching a certain threshold (such as 10 times) are used as account labels of the user; 2) the user can select interesting labels from the label bar or input the labels by the user before or during playing the video, and then the labels are stored in the server or the local for the next use.
Optionally, in the above embodiment, before obtaining the metadata of the target media content, the whole video may be sliced and the metadata may be created in the manner described in the following steps 1 to 3:
step 1, dividing target media content into a plurality of content segments, wherein the plurality of content segments comprise target content segments.
When the target media content is divided into a plurality of content segments, at least one of video frames, voice and characters of each playing moment in the target media content can be obtained; determining a plurality of semantics expressed by the target media content by using at least one of a video frame, voice and characters of each playing moment in the target media content, for example, extracting semantic information in pictures, voice and texts at each time point of the media in an automatic manner by using an AI algorithm and the like, for example, extracting character information in the video pictures by using a face recognition algorithm, extracting character information appearing in the video by using an OCR (optical character recognition) technology, extracting mode information appearing in the video by using a mode recognition technology, for example, specific articles (automobiles, animals and the like), specific scenes (for example, dining, driving and the like), and recognizing emotion information of the text and the audio by using an NLP (non line segment) technology; the target media content is divided into a plurality of content segments according to a plurality of semantics, each content segment in the plurality of content segments is used for representing one of the plurality of semantics, and higher-level semantics can be deduced based on metadata on each time point and the time continuity characteristics to obtain a semantic segment with complete plot, such as the lens of the star A singing.
And 2, acquiring metadata of each content fragment in the plurality of content fragments. Such as "star a", "picnic", "sea", etc., analyzed according to the above scheme.
And 3, establishing the association between each content fragment in the plurality of content fragments and the metadata.
In the technical solution provided in step S204, in the process of displaying the target media content to the target account, a prompt is sent to the target account that the content segment to be displayed is the target content segment.
Optionally, before sending a prompt that the content segment to be displayed is the target content segment to the target account, the target content segment matching the account label may be searched from the plurality of content segments included in the target media content, so as to send the prompt at a proper time.
The technical scheme of the application is suitable for being implemented when one audience watches the media content and is also suitable for being implemented when a plurality of audiences watch the media content. On-line media services, such as on-line video, audio, literary works and the like, have become essential entertainment services in daily life, the content quality of media has a high level, the interest points of users to the content are also different, especially when a plurality of people watch the same media content together, viewers have respective content preferences, the mode of directly dragging the progress is laborious and can influence other users watching together, the technical scheme of the application is adopted to assist the users to watch interested contents (also called wonderful contents, namely fragments of metadata matched with account labels), and the attention of different users to different interest points of the same media content can be met.
Optionally, when a plurality of viewers watch the same content, the target account is a plurality of, the intelligent device is a plurality of, and the target content segment is a plurality of, and sending a prompt that the content segment to be displayed is the target content segment to the target account on the intelligent device associated with the playing device includes: and under the condition that the content segment to be displayed is any one of the target content segments, sending a prompt to the intelligent equipment matched with the target content segment, wherein the account label of the target account logged on the intelligent equipment matched with the target content segment is matched with the metadata of the target content segment. For example, account a likes star a, account B likes star B, and account C likes star C, so that in the playing process, when the video clip of star a is played, the user corresponding to account a is reminded on the smart device, when the video clip of star B is played, the user corresponding to account B is reminded on the smart device, and when the video clip of star C is played, the user corresponding to account C is reminded on the smart device.
Optionally, in the process of displaying the target media content to the target account, the time for sending a prompt that the content segment to be displayed is the target content segment to the target account includes the following two times: sending a prompt that the content segment to be displayed is the target content segment to the target account under the condition that the difference value between the current playing time of the target media content and the starting time of the target content segment is smaller than a first threshold (such as smaller than 10 seconds); and sending a prompt that the content segment to be displayed is the target content segment to the target account under the condition that the current playing time of the target media content is the starting time of the target content segment.
Optionally, sending a prompt that the content segment to be displayed is the target content segment to the target account in the following forms: sending a prompt that the content segment to be displayed is the target content segment to the target account on the playing device of the target media content; and/or sending a prompt that the content segment to be displayed is the target content segment to the target account on the intelligent device associated with the playing device.
With the rapid development of mobile internet, more and more smart devices are walking into life from exhibition stands, such as smart phones, smart wearable devices (smart band, smart watch, smart glasses, etc.). The intelligent devices can be bound and communicated with another intelligent device (such as a playing device) to realize a series of interactions. For example, the smart watch may be bound to the playback device so that the prompt may be received by the smart watch.
Before playing the target media content, a metadata list can be displayed, each user can select metadata of interest on the intelligent device, and the selected metadata can be associated with the account selecting the metadata and used as an account label of the account.
Optionally, in the process of playing the target media content, the user may jump from the current playing position to the starting position of the content segment corresponding to the clicked metadata by clicking the metadata in the metadata list to continue playing.
In an optional embodiment, firstly, semantic analysis is performed on media content, and semantic metadata of media is established; allowing the user to make preference selections while the media is played; setting an interesting content reminding mode; and in the media playing process, the system matches the preference selected by the user according to the semantic metadata associated with the playing progress in real time, and if the current playing content matches the preference of the user, the system reminds according to a reminding mode set by the user. The technical solution of the present application is described in detail below with reference to specific embodiments.
Step 1, performing semantic analysis and user behavior data analysis on the video.
Semantic information in pictures, voices and texts at various time points in the media content can be extracted in an automatic mode by utilizing an AI algorithm and the like. For example, extracting the character information appearing in the picture at each time point in the video by using a face recognition algorithm; extracting character information appearing on a picture at each time point in the video by using an OCR technology; extracting mode information appearing in the pictures at each time point in the video, such as specific objects (automobiles, animals and the like), specific scenes (such as eating, driving, appointments and the like) by using a mode recognition algorithm; and recognizing emotion information of texts and audios by using an NLP (non line segment) technology.
Then, based on the metadata at each time point and the time continuity characteristics, higher level semantics can be deduced to obtain a semantic segment with complete plot, for example, continuous lyrics are extracted from continuous video frame subtitles, and stars a exist in the pictures, so that the continuous video frames can be regarded as a shot for singing stars a.
Through the semantic analysis, the semantic metadata of the media can be abstracted into a plurality of triple sets: start time (i.e. the start time of the content segment), end time (the end time of the content segment), semantic Tag.
And 2, selecting the viewing preference by the user.
At the media playing client, allowing the user to select viewing preferences, such as focusing on the shots of star B, skipping dance scenes, etc.; meanwhile, a reminding mode is set, for example, a mobile phone end can set reminding modes such as vibration, buzzing and voice; at the television end, the portable equipment such as a bracelet and a mobile phone can be associated to remind the user in modes such as vibration and voice. When multiple users watch the same media, the preference and the reminding mode can be set respectively.
And 3, the media playing client matches the metadata of the played content with the preference (namely, the account label) selected by the user to obtain a time segment set which is interested by the user. And when the segment which is interested by the user is played, sending out a prompt according to a prompt mode preset by the user.
In the technical scheme of the application, media metadata can be extracted in an automatic mode such as AI analysis and the like, and a user is allowed to select preferences during media playing, so that the user is automatically reminded to watch wonderful contents; the scheme of using automatic modes such as AI and the like to extract media metadata and allowing the user to select watching preference, and reminding the user of watching wonderful content based on the media metadata during media playing can play a role in improving user experience for online media (online video, audio, novel and the like) services.
