Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a wireless network access method according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 1:
step 101, a User Equipment (UE) receives service indication information sent by a wireless network system, where the service indication information is used to indicate a service type supported by the wireless network system. The user equipment may be a mobile phone, a PAD, etc. The wireless network system includes: new wireless NR network systems, long term evolution LTE network systems, etc.
Step 102, the user equipment determines whether the wireless network system currently accessed or resident by the user equipment supports the service required to be used based on the service indication information.
Step 103, if not, the user equipment accesses other wireless network systems supporting the service to be used based on a preset access policy, and the access policy may be multiple.
The wireless network system may transmit the traffic indication information in various ways. For example, the user equipment receives a system broadcast message sent by the wireless network system, and obtains the service indication information from the system broadcast message. The system broadcast message may be an existing variety of system broadcast messages.
The wireless network access method in the above embodiment provides a service-based wireless network system selection method, which enables the user equipment to actively select a wireless network system based on a service, and can improve the utilization rate of the wireless network system.
In one embodiment, the wireless network system configures the user equipment with the types of services that can be provided. For the user equipment in the idle state, if the selected wireless network system cannot provide the required service, the absolute priority of the wireless network system capable of providing the required service is set to be the highest. And for the user equipment in the connection state, if the selected wireless network system can not provide the required service, reporting a system switching request to the wireless network system. After receiving the system switching request, the wireless network system initiates a switching process to switch the user equipment to other wireless network systems, and can adopt various existing switching technologies.
Fig. 2 is a schematic flowchart of a network selection performed by a user equipment in an idle state in an embodiment of a wireless network access method according to the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 2:
step 201, when the ue is in an idle state, the ue selects and camps on a cell based on a preset network absolute priority.
Step 202, if the cell where the user equipment resides currently does not support the service that needs to be used, the user equipment initiates measurement and cell selection for other wireless network systems according to the order of the network absolute priority until other wireless networks accessed by the user equipment support the service that needs to be used.
The user equipment selects other wireless networks with signal quality meeting the signal quality requirement of the service required to be used according to the sequence of the network absolute priority, receives the system broadcast message sent by the selected other wireless network systems, and obtains service indication information from the system broadcast message. If the user equipment determines that the selected other wireless network system supports the service to be used, the user equipment completes the residence and the connection of the selected other wireless network system, and initiates a request for the service to be used after the connection is successful.
For example, the 5G wireless network system configures the service types that can be provided for the user equipment, wherein voice service is not included. And if the user equipment in the idle state needs to initiate voice service, setting the absolute priority of the LTE wireless network system to be the highest. And if the user equipment detects the cell of the LTE wireless network system with proper signal quality, reselecting the LTE cell, initiating connection establishment in the LTE cell, and entering a connection state to initiate voice service.
Fig. 3 is a schematic flowchart of network selection performed by a user equipment in a connected state in an embodiment of a wireless network access method according to the present disclosure, as shown in fig. 3:
step 301, when the ue is in a connected state, if the cell currently connected to the ue does not support the service that needs to be used, the ue initiates an RRC message to the currently connected wireless network system for reporting a system handover request, where the RRC message includes the service that needs to be used.
Step 302, the currently connected wireless network system initiates a handover process based on the system handover request, for handing over the user equipment to another wireless network system supporting the service to be used.
After receiving the system switching request, the currently connected wireless network system configures the measurement frequency of other wireless network systems supporting the service to be used for the user equipment. The user equipment initiates measurement to other wireless network systems supporting the service to be used based on the measurement frequency, if the measurement result meets the signal quality requirement of the service to be used, the cell of the other wireless network systems is switched to, and after the switching is successful, the user equipment initiates the service to be used.
For example, the 5G wireless network system configures the user equipment with the type of service that can be provided, excluding car networking services. And if the user equipment in the connected state needs to initiate the Internet of vehicles service, reporting a request for switching to the LTE to the 5G wireless network system. And after receiving the request of switching to the LTE, the 5G wireless network system configures and measures the LTE frequency for the user equipment. And if the measurement result is appropriate, the 5G wireless network system switches the user equipment to the LTE cell. The user equipment initiates the Internet of vehicles service in the LTE cell.
And the base station of the 5G wireless network system configures relevant parameters for the LTE measurement of the user equipment through the RRC reconfiguration message, wherein the relevant parameters comprise LTE frequency measurement and the like. The user equipment reports the measurement result measured based on the LTE frequency to the base station, the base station judges whether the LTE wireless network system can be switched to based on the measurement result, if so, the base station negotiates with the base station of the LTE wireless network system to obtain the relevant parameters of the LTE base station. The base station indicates the user equipment to be switched to the LTE cell through a MobiltyFromNRCommand message, the MobiltyFromNRCommand message carries the relevant parameters of the target LTE base station, and the user equipment reads the relevant parameters of the target LTE base station from the MobiltyFromNRCommand message and switches the relevant parameters to the LTE cell of the target LTE base station.

The service support judging module 42 judges whether the wireless network system currently accessed or resided by the user equipment supports the service to be used based on the service indication information. If not, the service switching module 43 accesses other wireless network systems supporting the service to be used based on the preset access policy. The wireless network system includes: new wireless NR network systems, long term evolution LTE network systems, etc.
In one embodiment, the service indication acquiring module 41 receives a system broadcast message sent by the wireless network system, and acquires the service indication information from the system broadcast message. The service switching module 43 performs cell selection and camping based on a preset network absolute priority when the ue is in an idle state. If the cell where the ue currently resides does not support the service that needs to be used, the service switching module 43 initiates measurement and cell selection for other wireless network systems according to the order of the absolute network priority until the other accessed wireless networks support the service that needs to be used.
The service switching module 43 selects other wireless networks whose signal quality satisfies the signal quality requirements of the services that need to be used in accordance with the order of the network's absolute priority. The service switching module 43 receives the system broadcast message sent by the selected other wireless network system, and obtains the service indication information from the system broadcast message. If it is determined that the selected other wireless network system supports the service to be used, the service switching module 43 completes the camping and the connection for the selected other wireless network system, and initiates a request for the service to be used after the connection is successful.
In an embodiment, in the connected state of the ue, if the currently connected cell does not support the service that needs to be used, the service switching module 43 initiates an RRC message to the currently connected wireless network system for reporting a system switching request, where the RRC message includes the service that needs to be used. The currently connected wireless network system initiates switching processing based on the system switching request, and switches the user equipment to other wireless network systems supporting the service required to be used.
After receiving the system switching request, the currently connected wireless network system configures the measurement frequency of other wireless network systems supporting the service to be used for the user equipment. The service switching module 43 initiates measurement on other wireless network systems supporting the service to be used based on the measurement frequency, and switches to the cell of the other wireless network systems if the measurement result meets the signal quality requirement of the service to be used. The service switching module 43 initiates the service to be used after the switching is successful.
