The flanging device comprises a material taking mechanism 10, a flanging mechanism 20 and a pressing mechanism 30 arranged on one side of the flanging mechanism 20, which is opposite to the material taking mechanism 10; the folding mechanism 20 is located between the material taking mechanism 10 and the pressing mechanism 30.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the material taking mechanism 10 includes a material taking device 11 and a driving member (not shown) connected to the material taking device 11, and the driving member can drive the material taking device 11 to move and then grab the workpiece 40. Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, the side of the dispenser 11 facing the folding mechanism 20 is provided with an inwardly recessed receiving cavity 12, and the receiving cavity 12 is used for receiving a workpiece.
The folding mechanism 20 comprises a base 21, a plurality of blades 22 arranged in the base 21 in a sliding way, an operation ring 23 connected with the blades 22, and a cover plate 24 covering the base 21; the vanes 22 and the operating ring 23 are located between the base 21 and the cover 24 for operation.
In the present embodiment, the base 21 and the cover plate 24 are both annularly disposed, and the base 21, the operation ring 23 and the cover plate 24 are all coaxially disposed. Base 21 includes a base plate 211 disposed annularly, and a side wall 212 extending from an outer peripheral edge of base plate 211 toward blade 22. Sliding grooves 25 are uniformly arranged on one surface of the chassis 21 facing the blades 22 at intervals; the sliding groove 25 extends outwards along the center of the base 21 and is arranged in a vortex or cyclone shape. Specifically, as shown in fig. 3, the sliding groove 25 is disposed in a long strip shape, and the sliding groove 25 extends counterclockwise and outward along the center of the base 21 and is disposed in a vortex shape or a cyclone shape. In other embodiments, the sliding slot 25 may also extend clockwise and outward along the center of the base 21 to form a vortex or cyclone. Further, an opening 26 is formed on one side of the sidewall 212 for accommodating one end of the operating ring 23.
In the embodiment, the plurality of blades 22 are arranged in the same direction and abutted to form a ring-shaped structure, the center of the ring-shaped structure forms a processing opening 27, and the processing opening 27 is used for accommodating the workpiece 40 to penetrate through; the processing opening 27 is arranged in a circular shape, and the processing opening 27 and the base 21 are arranged coaxially. One surface of the blade 22 facing the base 21 is connected with a sliding block 221, and the sliding block 221 is accommodated in the sliding groove 25 to slide; the side of the vane 22 facing the operation ring 23 is connected with a pivot portion 222, and the pivot portion 222 is used for movably connecting the operation ring 23. The slider 221 and the pivot portion 222 are located at an end of the blade 22 away from the machining opening 27. It is understood that in other embodiments, the machining opening 27 may have other shapes such as a square or oval shape.
The operating ring 23 comprises a ring body 231 and a handle 232 connected to one side of the ring body 231; the handle 232 is used for connecting a power member (not shown) after penetrating the opening 26, and the width of the handle 232 is smaller than that of the opening 26. The ring 231 is provided with driving holes 28 at regular intervals, the driving holes 28 are arranged in an approximately arc shape, the driving holes 28 extend outwards along the center of the operation ring 23 in a vortex or cyclone shape, and the extending direction of the driving holes 28 is opposite to the extending direction of the sliding grooves 25.
During assembly, the blade 22 is first placed in the base 21, wherein the sliding block 221 is accommodated in the sliding groove 25, the operation ring 23 is then placed, the handle 232 penetrates through the opening 26, the pivot portion 222 is sleeved with the driving hole 28, and finally the cover plate 24 is covered, so as to complete the assembly of the folding mechanism 20.
The pressing mechanism 30 includes a pressing head 31 and a connecting rod 32 connected to the pressing head 31. As shown in fig. 5 and 6, the pressing head 31 is used for pressing the hemmed edge of the workpiece 40, and the pressing head 31 is used for pressing the outer contour of the edge of the workpiece 40 to match the inner contour of the edge of the workpiece 40, so that the uneven edge of the hemmed workpiece 40 is pressed into the inner part of the workpiece 40 to form a flat edge, and the aesthetic degree of the workpiece 40 is improved.
In actual operation, the material taking mechanism 10 grabs the workpiece 40 and moves into the flanging mechanism 20, then the material taking mechanism 10 is kept still to ensure that the workpiece 40 is located in the processing opening 27, the power member is started to push the handle 232, the handle 232 moves to the other end of the opening 26 along one end of the opening 26, at this time, the inner wall of the end part of the driving hole 28 pushes the pivot part 222 to further drive the blade 22, the blade 22 moves towards the axial line direction of the processing opening 27 along the sliding chute 25, so that the processing opening 27 is gradually reduced, the edge of the blade 22 abuts against and presses the edge of the workpiece 40 to be turned inwards to form a flanging effect, then the pressing mechanism 30 moves towards the workpiece 40, and the pressure head 31 presses the edge of the workpiece 40 to abut against the inside of the workpiece 40 until the edge of the workpiece 40 is completely turned inwards. Finally, the pressing mechanism 30 returns to its original position along the original path, and the material taking mechanism 10 takes away the hemmed workpiece 40 and then grabs a new workpiece 40. Thus, the whole flanging action cycle is completed, and the next flanging action is started.
The edge folding device is simple in structure and convenient to use, the operation ring 23 is used for driving the blade 22 to move, the machining opening 27 is further reduced to conduct edge folding treatment on the workpiece 40 quickly, the edge of the workpiece 40 is extruded by the pressing mechanism 30 until the edge is attached to the inner surface of the workpiece 40, and therefore the appearance is smooth and attractive.

the pressing mechanism is arranged on one side of the edge folding mechanism; the pressing mechanism comprises a pressing head, the pressing head is used for pressing the edge of the workpiece, and the outer contour of the pressing head is matched with the inner contour of the workpiece.
2. The hemming device of claim 1 wherein a chute is provided on a side of the base facing the blade; one side of the blade facing the base is connected with a sliding block, and the sliding block is used for being accommodated in the sliding groove.
3. The hemming device of claim 2 wherein the slider and the pivot portion are both located at an end of the blade remote from the tooling opening.

The hemming device of claim 2 wherein the chute extends outwardly along the center of the base in a vortex or cyclone arrangement; the driving hole extends outwards along the center of the operating ring and is arranged in a vortex or cyclone shape; the extending direction of the driving hole is opposite to the extending direction of the sliding groove.
5. The hemming device of claim 4 wherein the chute extends counterclockwise and outwardly from a center of the base.
6. The hemming device of claim 2 wherein the base includes a base plate and a side wall extending from an outer periphery of the base plate toward the blade; an opening is formed in one side of the side wall; the operating ring comprises a ring body and a handle connected to one side of the ring body; the handle penetrates through the opening.
7. The hemming device of claim 6 wherein the width of the handle is less than the width of the opening.
8. The hemming device of claim 1 wherein the base, the operating ring, and the cover plate are all coaxially disposed.
9. The hemming device of claim 1 further comprising a take off mechanism; the material taking mechanism comprises a material taking device and a driving piece connected with the material taking device; the material taking device is used for grabbing the workpiece.
10. The hemming device of claim 1 wherein the tooling vent is circularly configured.
