Abstract
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and a system for downloading software upgrade of a passive optical network device. The method comprises the following steps: the network management server sends a downloading command; the EoC local side receives and analyzes the download command to acquire a download parameter; the EoC local side sends a version downloading request according to the downloading parameters and stores the version downloading to the local; the EoC local side appoints the upgrade parameters of the EoC terminal and sends an upgrade command to the EoC terminal; the EoC terminal receives and analyzes the upgrading command to acquire downloading parameters; and the EoC terminal sends a version downloading request according to the downloading parameters to finish downloading the upgraded version. The invention realizes the layer-by-layer transmission of the version upgrading, reduces the pressure of the network management server and the bandwidth, and leads the terminal upgrading process to be quicker and more stable.
Description
The application is divided into separate applications by taking an invention patent with the application date of 2017-02-15 and the application number of 201710080080.X, and the name of the invention patent is 'a method and a system for distributing and downloading software versions in a passive optical network' as a parent application.
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and a system for downloading software upgrade of a passive optical network device.
Background
EPON (Ethernet passive optical network ) plus EoC (Ethernet Coax, Ethernet data is transmitted via coaxial cable) is a scheme adopted by a new generation of broadcast and television networks at present. The main network elements of the whole system comprise: OLT (Optical line terminal), ONU (Optical network unit), EoC office, EoC terminal.
In order to improve user experience, function addition and function optimization of the EoC terminal are required to be performed frequently, and continuous upgrading of the software version of the EoC terminal is inevitable. As shown in the PON + EoC network architecture diagram depicted in fig. 1, each OLT may have multiple ONUs connected downstream, each ONU may have multiple EoC central offices connected downstream, and multiple EoC terminals may be connected downstream below each EoC central office, where the number of terminals in such a network reaches 4K or more. At present, a terminal is upgraded by issuing an upgrade command to the terminal through a network management server, and the terminal initiates an upgrade request to the network management server and downloads an upgrade version from the network management server to a local for upgrading.
In a network with a large number of terminals, in the process of downloading an upgrade version from a network management server by the terminals, multiple concurrent requests often cause terminal upgrade failure due to insufficient performance of the network management server and bottleneck of uplink bandwidth of a local side. The terminal which fails in the upgrade continuously repeats the download request, which further aggravates the congestion of the whole network, so that the upgrade process of the whole network is slow, and the upgrade process influences the normal service access.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at the problems, the invention provides a software upgrading and downloading method and a system of passive optical network equipment, which reduce the interaction times between a network management server and a terminal and avoid the bottleneck of the resources of the network management server and the network bandwidth.
In order to solve the technical problems, the invention adopts the technical scheme that: a method for downloading software upgrade of a passive optical network device is provided, the method comprising:
the network management server sends a download command to the EoC local side;
the EoC local side receives and analyzes the download command to acquire a first download parameter;
the EoC local side sends an upgrade version download request to an FTP server stored in an upgrade version according to the first download parameter, and the FTP server sends the upgrade version to the EoC local side;
the EoC local side appoints the upgrade parameters of the EoC terminal and sends an upgrade command to the EoC terminal;
the EoC terminal receives and analyzes the upgrading command to acquire a second downloading parameter;
the EoC terminal sends an upgrade version download request to an EoC local side according to the second download parameter;
and the EoC terminal downloads and stores the upgrade version sent by the EoC local side.
The other technical scheme provided by the invention is as follows: a system for downloading software upgrade of a passive optical network device is provided, which comprises: the system comprises a network management server, an EoC local side and an EoC terminal;
the network management server is used for sending a downloading command to the EoC local side;
the EoC local side is used for receiving and analyzing the downloading command to acquire a first downloading parameter; sending an upgrading version downloading request to an FTP server stored in an upgrading version according to the first downloading parameter; receiving an upgrading version sent by an FTP server; appointing an upgrade parameter of the EoC terminal, and sending an upgrade command to the EoC terminal; sending the upgrade version to the EoC terminal;
the EoC terminal is used for receiving and analyzing the upgrading command and acquiring a second downloading parameter; sending an upgrade version downloading request to the EoC local side according to the second downloading parameter; and receiving the upgrade version sent by the EoC local side.
According to the method and the system for upgrading and downloading the software of the passive optical network equipment, the network management server, the EoC local side and the EoC terminal are adopted to send the upgrading versions layer by layer, so that the pressure of the network management server and the bandwidth is reduced, and the terminal upgrading process is quicker and more stable. The method solves the technical problem that in a network with a huge number of terminals, the EoC terminal downloads the upgrade version from the network management server, so that the resources and the network bandwidth of the network management server are insufficient, thereby causing a bottleneck.

Detailed Description
In order to explain technical contents, achieved objects, and effects of the present invention in detail, the following description is made with reference to the accompanying drawings in combination with the embodiments.
The most key concept of the invention is as follows: by sending the version upgrading layer by layer, the pressure of a network management server and the bandwidth is reduced, and the terminal upgrading process is faster and more stable.
One embodiment of the invention is: a method of software upgrade downloading for a passive optical network device, the method comprising:
the network management server sends a download command to the EoC local side;
the EoC local side receives and analyzes the download command to acquire a first download parameter;
the EoC local side sends an upgrade version download request to an FTP server stored in an upgrade version according to the first download parameter, and the FTP server sends the upgrade version to the EoC local side;
the EoC local side appoints the upgrade parameters of the EoC terminal and sends an upgrade command to the EoC terminal;
the EoC terminal receives and analyzes the upgrading command to acquire a second downloading parameter;
the EoC terminal sends an upgrade version download request to an EoC local side according to the second download parameter;
and the EoC terminal downloads and stores the upgrade version sent by the EoC local side.
From the above description, it can be known that the method for upgrading and downloading software of the passive optical network device of the present invention avoids the bottleneck caused by insufficient resources and network bandwidth of the network management server due to downloading the upgrade version from the network management server by the EoC terminal in the network with a huge number of terminals, and the upgrade version is sent layer by layer through the network management server, the EoC local side and the EoC terminal, so that the pressure of the network management server and the bandwidth is reduced, and the terminal upgrade process is faster and more stable.
Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, the network management server of the method for downloading software upgrade of the passive optical network device sends the download command to an SNMP agent of the EoC central office through a SetRequest request of an SNMP protocol.
Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, the download command of the method for downloading software upgrade of a passive optical network device includes: the IP, port, login user name and password of the FTP server stored in the upgraded version, and the file name of the upgraded version.
Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, the FTP server of the method for downloading and upgrading software of the passive optical network device is configured on the network management server.
Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, an upgrade server storing an upgrade version is installed on an EoC local side of the method for downloading and upgrading a software of a passive optical network device, where the upgrade command includes: the IP, port, login user name and password of the server are upgraded, and the file name of the upgraded version is also upgraded.
Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, the EoC local side of the method for downloading and upgrading software of a passive optical network device sends an upgrade command to the EoC terminal through an MME protocol.
The invention also provides a system for upgrading and downloading the software of the passive optical network equipment, which comprises the following components: the system comprises a network management server, an EoC local side and an EoC terminal;
the network management server 1 is used for sending a downloading command to the EoC local side;
the EoC local side 2 is used for receiving and analyzing the download command to acquire a first download parameter; sending an upgrading version downloading request to an FTP server stored in an upgrading version according to the first downloading parameter; receiving an upgrading version sent by an FTP server; appointing an upgrade parameter of the EoC terminal, and sending an upgrade command to the EoC terminal; sending the upgrade version to the EoC terminal;
the EoC terminal 3 is used for receiving and analyzing the upgrading command and acquiring a second downloading parameter; sending an upgrade version downloading request to the EoC local side according to the second downloading parameter; and receiving the upgrade version sent by the EoC local side.
Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, the network management server of the software upgrading and downloading system of the passive optical network device sends the downloading command to the SNMP agent of the EoC central office through a SetRequest request of the SNMP protocol.
Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, the download command of the software upgrade downloading system of the passive optical network device includes: the IP, port, login user name and password of the FTP server stored in the upgraded version, and the file name of the upgraded version.
Further, in an embodiment of the present invention, the FTP server of the software upgrading and downloading system of the passive optical network device is configured on the network management server.
Example 1
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating a method for downloading a software upgrade of a passive optical network device according to an embodiment of the present invention; specifically, the method for software upgrading and downloading of the passive optical network device of the invention comprises the following steps:
step 201: the network management sends a version downloading command to the local side.
In this embodiment, the network manager sends the download command to the SNMP agent of the office end through the SetRequest request of the SNMP protocol; the download command contains the IP, port, login user name and password of the FTP server stored in the version, and the name of the version file.
In this embodiment, the FTP server is also installed on the network manager.
Step 202: the local side receives and analyzes the download command of the network management.
The SNMP agent at the local side analyzes the information contained in the download command, calls an MIB interface to set the following MIB nodes:
eoc software download serverp: the network manager sets the IP address of the FTP server of the local side download version by specifying the value of the node;
eoc software download serverport: the network manager sets the port number of the FTP server of the local side download version by appointing the value of the node;
eocSoftware DownloadLogin: the network manager sets the login user name of the FTP server of the local side download version by specifying the value of the node;
eoc software download passed: the network manager sets the login password of the local side download version FTP server by specifying the value of the node;
eoc software download filename: the network manager sets the name of the local side download version file by specifying the value of the node.
Step 203: the local side sends a version downloading request.
In this embodiment, the office initiates an FTP download request according to the value of the MIB node set in step 202 as a parameter of the FTP request.
Step 204: the network management receives the FTP download request, transmits the version to the local side through the FTP protocol, and stores the version in the local side.
Step 205: the local side appoints the upgrade parameters of the terminal, and the upgrade parameters comprise the file name of the upgrade version, the IP, the port, the user name and the password of the upgrade server.
In this embodiment, the upgrade server is the central office, and the file name of the upgrade version is the value of the MIB node eoc software download file.
Step 206: and the local side sends the parameters required by the terminal upgrading to the terminal through a protocol.
In this embodiment, the protocol used is the MME protocol.
Step 207: the terminal sends a version download request.
In this embodiment, the terminal parses the TLV field of the MME protocol packet sent in step 206, obtains the parameter for FTP download, and initiates an FTP download request.
Step 208: the local side receives the FTP downloading request and transmits the version to the terminal through the FTP protocol.

1. A method for downloading software upgrade of a passive optical network device, the method comprising:
the network management server sends a download command to the EoC local side;
the EoC local side receives and analyzes the download command to acquire a first download parameter;
the EoC local side sends an upgrade version download request to an FTP server stored in an upgrade version according to the first download parameter, and the FTP server sends the upgrade version to the EoC local side;
the EoC local side appoints the upgrade parameters of the EoC terminal and sends an upgrade command to the EoC terminal;
the EoC terminal receives and analyzes the upgrading command to acquire a second downloading parameter;
the EoC terminal sends an upgrade version download request to an EoC local side according to the second download parameter;
and the EoC terminal downloads and stores the upgrade version sent by the EoC local side.
2. The method for downloading software upgrade of passive optical network device according to claim 1, wherein the network management server sends the download command to an SNMP agent of the EoC office through SetRequest request of SNMP protocol.
3. The method for downloading software upgrade of passive optical network device according to claim 1, wherein the EoC office is installed with an upgrade server storing an upgrade version, and the upgrade command includes: the IP, port, login user name and password of the server are upgraded, and the file name of the upgraded version is also upgraded.
4. The method for downloading software upgrade of passive optical network device according to claim 1, wherein the EoC office sends an upgrade command to an EoC terminal through an MME protocol.
5. A system for downloading a software upgrade of a passive optical network device, comprising: the system comprises a network management server, an EoC local side and an EoC terminal;
the network management server is used for sending a downloading command to the EoC local side;
the EoC local side is used for receiving and analyzing the downloading command to acquire a first downloading parameter; sending an upgrading version downloading request to an FTP server stored in an upgrading version according to the first downloading parameter; receiving an upgrading version sent by an FTP server; appointing an upgrade parameter of the EoC terminal, and sending an upgrade command to the EoC terminal; sending the upgrade version to the EoC terminal;
the EoC terminal is used for receiving and analyzing the upgrading command and acquiring a second downloading parameter; sending an upgrade version downloading request to the EoC local side according to the second downloading parameter; and receiving the upgrade version sent by the EoC local side.
6. The system for downloading software upgrade of passive optical network device according to claim 5, wherein said network management server sends said download command to an SNMP agent of EoC office via SetRequest request of SNMP protocol.
7. The system for software upgrade downloading of passive optical network device according to claim 5, wherein said FTP server is installed on a network management server.
