Description

Terminal releasing method, positioning server, terminal and network equipment
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method for releasing a terminal, a location server, a terminal, and a network device.
Background
In a mobile communication system, positioning methods such as E-CID (Enhanced Cell-ID) and OTDOA (Enhanced Time Difference of Arrival) are provided, information such as Time delay and signal strength is obtained by measuring a reference signal by a terminal, and position information of the terminal is obtained by combining with position information of a base station.
The E-CID positioning may utilize the UE to directly measure CRS/NCRS (common reference signal) cell reference signals of a serving cell and a neighboring cell, and obtain information such as time of arrival and signal strength to determine the UE position.
The OTDOA positioning is to measure a downlink dedicated PRS/NPRS (narrow band positioning reference signal) of a serving cell and a neighboring cell by using the UE to obtain an arrival time difference between the UE and the neighboring cell and the serving cell to determine the location of the UE; the UE can measure at least NPRS signals of three cells to complete positioning.
In the narrow-band Internet of things, the used terminal is a low-cost and low-power consumption terminal, and measurement can be carried out only in an idle state. Therefore, in the positioning process, the UE needs to first enter the connected state to obtain the measurement configuration information related to positioning, then wait for the inactivity timer of the base station to time out, enter the idle state to perform positioning related measurement, and finally enter the connected state to report the positioning measurement result.
In the existing positioning process, the time length of one positioning is 25-35s, wherein the time length of a base station inactivity timer is set to be 20s, after the terminal acquires the positioning related configuration information of the network, the terminal needs to wait for 20s to start measurement, the proportion of the time in the total positioning time reaches 57% -80%, and the positioning time delay and the terminal power consumption are seriously influenced.
