Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram illustrating a display device 1 according to an embodiment of the invention. As shown in fig. 1, the display device 1 has a plurality of display modules: a first display module 10 and a second display module 20, which can be used as a display device with dual screens, the first display module 10 has a first display surface 101, the second display module 20 has a second display surface 201, and the display device 1 can be used as a device of a cash register or a meal ordering machine, for example. The display device 1 further comprises a supporting base B connected to the first back surface 102 of the first display module 10 for being conveniently disposed or placed on a plane for a user to use. The connection structure and configuration of the first and second display modules 10 and 20 of the display device 1 will be described in detail below.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, the display device 1 includes the first display module 10, the second display module 20, and a connecting mechanism 30. The connecting mechanism 30 connects the first display module 10 and the second display module 20, and in the embodiment, the connecting mechanism 30 is disposed at an upper end of the first back surface 102 of the first display module 10. In detail, the connecting mechanism 30 includes a connecting member 31 and a fixing member 32, one end E1 of the connecting member 31 is fixed to the first back surface 102 of the first display module 10, and the other end E2 has a spherical structure 311, and the connecting member 31 can be used as a universal joint (universal joint). The second display module 20 has an accommodating portion 21, which is made of flexible or elastic material and has a hollow structure, and is formed on the second back surface 202 of the second display module 20. The spherical structure 311 is engaged and accommodated in the accommodating portion 21, and the spherical structure 311 can be fixed to the accommodating portion 21 through the fixing member 32, as shown in fig. 3. In this way, the second display module 20 can be firmly connected to the first display module 10.
Specifically, as shown in fig. 2, the fixing member 32 can be a fixing ring having a substantially circular through groove 321, and the ball-shaped structure 311 of the connecting member 31 can be inserted into the through groove 321. The fixing member 32 further has a first thread structure T1, and the outer side or edge of the receiving portion 21 has a second thread structure T2, which are matched with each other. Referring to fig. 4A and 4B, the ball-shaped structure 311 of the connecting member 31 is disposed in the accommodating portion 21, and the first thread structure T1 of the fixing member 32 is locked with the second thread structure T2 of the accommodating portion 21, so that the second display module 20 is stably locked to the connecting mechanism 30.
More specifically, referring to the cross-sectional schematic views of the connecting element 31 and the second display module 20 shown in fig. 4A and 4B, the spherical structure 311 of the connecting element 31 passes through the fixing element 32 and is partially disposed in the accommodating portion 21, and the user can rotate the fixing element 32 in the rotation direction R1 shown in fig. 3 to move/rotate the fixing element 32 from a releasing position X0 (first position; fig. 4A) to a fixing position X1 (second position; fig. 4B), at which a first inclined surface S1 on the inner edge of the fixing element 32 abuts against a central axis O of the fixing element 32 and presses a second inclined surface S2 on the outer side or outer edge of the accommodating portion 21, so that the inner diameter of the opening of the accommodating portion 21 is deformed and reduced to abut against and tightly fasten the spherical structure 311. Thus, by the combination of the first and second thread structures T1 and T2 and the abutment of the first inclined surface S1 against the second inclined surface S2, the second display module 20 and the first display module 10 are both firmly fixed, so that the display device is in a locked state.
When the user wants to adjust the angle or position of the second display module 20 relative to the first display module 10, the fixing member 32 can be rotated along a rotation direction R2 (see fig. 3) opposite to the rotation direction R1, so that the fixing member 32 is separated from the fixed position X1, at this time, the connecting member 31 is no longer tightly fixed with the accommodating portion 21, the second inclined surface S2 is no longer pressed by the first inclined surface S1 in the direction of the central axis X1 toward the central axis O, so that the accommodating portion 21 is no longer tightly buckled with the spherical structure 311, and at this time, the user can rotate the second display module 20. In other words, when the ball-shaped structure 311 is located in the accommodating portion 21 and the fixing member 32 is not located at the fixing position X1, the fixing member 32 is located between the releasing position X0 or the releasing position X0 to the fixing position X1, and the display device 1 is in the half-locked state, the second display module 20 can rotate or move relative to the first display module 10. In addition, referring to fig. 3, the outer edge of the fixing member 32 has a tapered portion 323, which increases the holding convenience and provides the user with more convenient rotation of the fixing member 32.
It should be noted that the fixing member 32 further includes a clamping portion 322, as shown in fig. 4A, the clamping portion 322 clamps the spherical structure 311 of the connecting member 31, wherein the shortest distance from the clamping portion 322 to the central axis O of the fixing member 32 is smaller than the shortest distance from the first thread structure T1 of the fixing member 32 to the central axis O, so as to ensure that the fixing member 32 can firmly clamp the spherical structure 311 at the fixing position X1.
Fig. 5 shows a cross-sectional view of the connection mechanism 30, in this embodiment, the connection member 31 and the fixing member 32 of the connection mechanism 30, and the accommodating portion 21 of the second display module 20 all have hollow structures, so that a circuit module W (or an electric wire, a signal wire) can pass through the accommodating portion 21, the fixing member 32, and the connection member 31 from the second display module 20 to be connected to the first display module 10, and thus, the circuit module W is embedded in the second display module 20, the connection mechanism 30, and the first display module 10 without being exposed outside, which not only improves the aesthetic appearance of the display device 1, but also avoids the situation that a user needs to arrange circuits due to the fact that the circuits are arranged around the device, and improves the convenience of use.
Fig. 6 and 7 are schematic diagrams illustrating that the second display module 20 can rotate relative to the first display module 10, wherein fig. 6 shows that the second display module 20 can rotate up and down (rotate around the Y-axis), and fig. 7 shows that the second display module 20 can rotate left and right (rotate around the Z-axis), and of course, the second display module 20 can rotate in the whole circumferential direction through the spherical structure 311 of the connecting member 31 in addition to the rotation on the single axis. When the fixing member 32 leaves the fixing position X1 on the accommodating portion 21 (for example, moves to the releasing position X0), the second display module 20 can rotate relative to the first display module 10 by applying a force, wherein it is worth mentioning that the user can change the rotation easiness of the second display module 20 relative to the first display module 10 by adjusting the degree of tightness of the fixing member 32 locked on the accommodating portion 21. For example, when the fixing member 32 is located on the accommodating portion 21 near the fixing position X1 end, the second display module 20 is more tightly fixed and is not easily rotated relative to the first display module 10 than when it is near the releasing position X0 end, i.e. a greater force is applied to rotate the second display module 20. Conversely, the closer the fixing member 32 is to the release position X0, the easier it is for the user to rotate the second display module 20. The tightness degree of the second display module 20 relative to the first display module 10 can be adjusted by the user rotating the fixing member 32.
In summary, the embodiments of the present invention provide a display device, which mainly includes a first display module, a second display module and a connecting mechanism. The first display module is provided with a first display surface and a first back surface opposite to the first display surface. The second display module is provided with a second display surface and a second back surface on the opposite side of the second display surface, and an accommodating part is arranged on the second back surface. The connecting mechanism is connected with the first display module and the second display module and comprises a connecting piece and a fixing piece, wherein the connecting piece is provided with a spherical structure, penetrates through the fixing piece and is arranged in the accommodating part, and the fixing piece is connected with the spherical structure and the accommodating part.
The embodiment of the invention has at least one of the following advantages or effects, the second display module can circumferentially adjust the use angle relative to the first display module through the connecting piece with the spherical structure, and compared with the traditional method that the second screen can be adjusted only in a single-axis and double-axis up-down direction and left-right direction, the embodiment of the invention has higher practicability and also has higher flexibility when the device is arranged and displayed in space. In addition, the connecting mechanism of the embodiment of the invention has a hollow structure, so that a circuit or a circuit can be embedded in the connecting mechanism, and the circuit can pass through the connecting mechanism from the second display module to the first display module, thereby avoiding the situation of inconvenient use caused by exposed circuit, improving the disassembling and assembling speed of the device and greatly improving the convenience in maintenance.
In addition, in the locking state of the display device according to the embodiment of the invention, the first inclined surface of the fixing member abuts against the second inclined surface of the accommodating portion, and the second inclined surface is provided with a force in the direction towards the central axis of the fixing member, so that the accommodating portion can tightly buckle the spherical structure of the connecting member, and the stability of the display device in the locking state is improved.
Ordinal numbers such as "first," "second," etc., in the specification and claims are not necessarily in sequential order, but are merely used to identify two different elements having the same name.
The embodiments described above are described in sufficient detail to enable those skilled in the art to practice the disclosed apparatus, and it is to be understood that various changes and modifications may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention, which is defined by the appended claims.
