Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a subject support device for a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus used for the nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus.
Background
For example, in a nuclear medicine diagnostic apparatus for breast examination for examining a breast of a subject, the breast of the subject to which a radiopharmaceutical has been administered in advance is inserted into a ring-shaped radiation detection unit in which a tunnel-shaped examination space is formed, and annihilation photons emitted from the breast of the subject are detected by the radiation detection unit. Then, the time at which the photon is detected is measured, and when the difference between the detection times of the two detectors in the radiation detection unit is within a fixed time, the two detected photons are counted as a pair of annihilation photons, and the annihilation occurrence point is determined as the position on the straight line of the detected detector pair. The emission data thus obtained is stored, and image reconstruction is performed using the stored emission data, thereby acquiring a PET image. Then, the acquired PET image is displayed on a monitor and transmitted to a server in the hospital.
In such a nuclear medicine diagnostic apparatus for breast examination, as a method of positioning a radiation detection unit with respect to a breast of a subject, there are two methods: positioning the subject by bringing the radiation detection unit close to the subject after the subject is fixed at a fixed position such as a bed or a chair; and a radiation detection unit which is fixed in advance and into which the breast of the subject is inserted and positioned.
Patent document 1 discloses a table for performing a medical treatment in which a subject is placed on a table top having an insertion opening into which a breast of the subject is inserted, and the breast of the subject is placed in a state of hanging down via the insertion opening, thereby bringing the breast close to an X-ray imaging apparatus and positioning the breast. The platform described in patent document 1 is configured such that: a replaceable insert having a large-diameter insertion opening or a small-diameter insertion opening is selectively used based on the size of the breast of the subject.
Patent document 2 discloses a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus for a breast, which can examine the breast and the armpit of a subject. The nuclear medicine diagnostic apparatus described in patent document 2 includes a ring-shaped (annular) detector unit for imaging the breast of the subject M in a sitting position, and an arm rest for supporting the arm inserted into the detector unit. The detector unit in the nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus has a hole into which an arm on a side close to the breast can be inserted, and the inner diameter of the hole is larger than the distance from the shoulder on the arm side to the root of the breast.

Detailed Description
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. Fig. 1 is a perspective view of a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus to which a subject support apparatus for a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention is applied. Fig. 2 is a schematic side view showing a case where the nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus is used to perform an examination of the subject M.
In particular, the nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus to which the present invention is applied can examine the breast of the subject together with the armpit of the subject. This nuclear medicine diagnostic apparatus is also called a PET (Positron emission tomography) apparatus for breast, for example, and includes a bed 14, and a placement unit 11 for placing a subject M is disposed above the bed 14. The placement portion 11 is formed with a recess 13 for placing the head of the subject M and an insertion opening 12 for inserting the breast and the armpit of the subject M. Further, a space 20 having a size capable of accommodating the arm of the subject M is formed below the placement portion 11 of the bed 14 and inside the body cover 16. In a state where the subject M lies on the mount 11 in the prone position, the radiation detection units 15 are disposed in a ring shape around the breasts and armpit portions of the subject M inserted into the space 20 from the insertion opening 12 of the mount 11.
The nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus is used for examining the breast and the axilla of a subject M. In this nuclear medicine diagnostic apparatus, the breast and the armpit of the subject M to which a radiopharmaceutical has been administered in advance are inserted from the insertion opening 12 into the ring-shaped radiation detection unit 15 in which the tunnel-shaped examination space is formed, and the 511keV annihilation photons emitted from the subject M are detected by the radiation detection unit 15. Then, the time at which the photon is detected is measured, and when the difference between the detection times of the two detectors in the radiation detection unit 15 is within a fixed time, the detected photon is counted as a pair of annihilation photons, and the annihilation occurrence point is determined as the position on the straight line of the detected pair of detectors. The emission data thus obtained is stored in the console 6, and image reconstruction is performed using the emission data stored in the console 6, thereby acquiring a PET image. The acquired PET image is displayed on the display unit 7 and transmitted to a server in the hospital via the in-hospital network 8.
In this case, the breast and the armpit portion of the subject M need to be disposed within the detection range 19 of the radiation in the radiation detection unit 15. In order to realize this arrangement, the size of the radiation detection section 15 is determined so that the detection range 19 of the radiation formed by the radiation detection section 15 has a size in which the breast and the armpit of the subject M can be arranged.
As shown in fig. 2, when examining the breast and the armpit of the subject M, the arm of the subject M is accommodated in the space 20 formed inside the body cover 16 below the placement portion 11 of the bed 14. In this case, the examination using the nuclear medicine diagnosis apparatus may take about 10 minutes. Therefore, an arm support member 22 for supporting the arm of the subject M is disposed in the space 20.
The arm support member 22 has a structure in which a soft material such as sponge is surrounded by synthetic leather or the like. The size and shape of the arm support member 22 are changed in accordance with the physique of the subject M, the posture of the subject M during the examination, and the like. Further, the arm of the subject M may be supported by the plurality of arm supporting members 22 as needed.
In this nuclear medicine diagnostic apparatus, an opening 21 that communicates with a space 20 that can accommodate the arm of the subject M is formed in a side surface of the body cover 16 of the bed 14. The opening 21 is formed on both side surfaces of the body cover 16 which are located on the side of the subject M on the placement portion 11 of the bed 14.
When examining the breast and the armpit of the subject M, the subject M needs to insert an arm from the insertion opening 12 formed in the placement portion 11 into the space 20 formed inside the main body cover 16 as shown in fig. 2. At this time, if the space 20 is closed, the subject M cannot recognize the shape of the space 20 when inserting the arm into the space 20 through the insertion port 12, and thus feels uneasy. However, since the opening 21 communicating with the space 20 for accommodating the arm of the subject M is formed in this nuclear medicine diagnostic apparatus, the subject M can recognize what the space 20 is, and the subject M does not feel such anxiety.
In addition, during the examination, the article used for the examination or the vomit of the subject M may fall into the space 20 from the insertion port 12. Even in this case, the fallen objects can be easily removed by using the opening 21 communicating with the space 20.
In an examination using the nuclear medicine diagnostic apparatus, an arm support member 22 for supporting an arm of the subject M is disposed in the space 20 in order to reduce fatigue of the subject M and prevent movement of an examination site of the subject M. The size and shape of the arm support member 22 need to be changed according to the physique of the subject M or the like. In this case, the arm support member 22 corresponding to the subject M is provided in the space 20 by the opening 21 communicating with the space 20, or the shape, size, number, and the like of the arm support member 22 are changed in accordance with the physique and the like of the subject M.
When the nuclear medicine diagnostic apparatus having the above-described configuration is used to perform the examination of the subject M, the subject M needs to maintain the lateral lying state in order to insert the arms into the space 20 through the insertion port 12, and it is difficult and painful to maintain the lateral lying state without moving the body until the examination is completed. Therefore, the subject support device for a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus according to the present invention is used.
Next, the structure of the subject support device for a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention will be described. Fig. 3 is a perspective view showing a state in which the sheet member 31 in the subject support device for a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention is placed on the placement unit 11 in the nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus. Fig. 4 is a perspective view showing a state in which the sheet member 31 and the plurality of support members 32 and 33 in the subject support device for a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention are placed on the placement portion 11 in the nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus. Fig. 5 is a perspective view of the plurality of support members 32, 33. Fig. 6 is a bottom view of the support member 33. Fig. 7 and 8 are partial sectional views showing the engagement state of the sheet member 31 with the support members 32 and 33.
As shown in fig. 4, 7, and 8, the subject support device for a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a sheet member 31 placed on a placement unit 11 of the nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus, and a plurality of support members 32 and 33 arranged at the end of the sheet member 31. As shown in fig. 3, a surface fastener 41 as a connecting member is disposed on the surface of the sheet member 31. As shown in fig. 6, a surface fastener 42 as a connecting member is provided on the lower surface of the support member 33. Further, a hole 34 is formed in the support member 33, and a projection 35 engageable with the hole 34 formed in the support member 33 is formed in the support member 32.
When the subject M under examination is supported by the subject support apparatus for a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus, the sheet member 31 is first placed on the placement unit 11 in the nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus as shown in fig. 3. Then, as shown in fig. 4, the support member 33 is fixed to the sheet member 31 by the surface fasteners 41 and 42. In this fixing, the fixing position of the support member 33 can be finely adjusted by the action of the surface fasteners 41 and 42. Then, the support member 32 is engaged with the support member 33 as necessary.
Thus, as shown in fig. 4, the subject support device is configured on the placement unit 11 in the nuclear medicine diagnostic apparatus. At the time of examination, the sheet member 31 is fixed by the subject M lying on its side on the sheet member 31. The subject M in a lateral lying state can be supported by the plurality of support members 32 and 33. Thus, the subject M can easily maintain the lateral position without suffering pain. In this case, the support member 33 is selected and used in accordance with not only the physique and posture of the subject M but also the support member 32 is selected and used in accordance with the physique and posture of the subject M, or the attachment position of the support member 33 to the sheet member 31 is changed, whereby the subject M can more easily maintain the lateral position.
At this time, the convex portion 35 formed on the lower surface of the support member 32 has an asymmetrical shape in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the support member 32. Therefore, as shown in fig. 7 or 8, the external shape of the support members 32 and 33 that are engaged with each other can be changed by changing the engagement direction of the support member 32 with respect to the support member 33. Therefore, by changing the outer shapes of the supporting members 32 and 33 in accordance with the physique and posture of the subject M, the subject M can be supported in the most comfortable state for each subject M.
In the above embodiment, the sheet member 31 and the support member 33 are detachably connected by the surface connectors 41 and 42, but the sheet member 31 and the support member 33 may be detachably connected by another connection mechanism such as a button.
In the above embodiment, the following structure is adopted: the hole 34 is formed in the support member 33, the convex portion 35 that engages with the hole 34 is formed in the support member 32, and the plurality of support members 32, 33 are coupled to each other by engaging the hole 34 with the convex portion 35. However, the support member 32 and the support member 33 may be detachably connected by a connecting member such as a surface fastener. Further, by disposing a soft material having a large friction coefficient such as rubber on the contact surface between the support member 32 and the support member 33, it is possible to prevent the support member 32 and the support member 33 from sliding, and to provide an instruction to the subject M by disposing one at an arbitrary position with respect to the other.
Further, in the above-described embodiment, the subject support apparatus for a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention is applied to a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus for examining the breast and the axilla of the subject M, but the subject support apparatus for a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus according to the embodiment of the present invention may be applied to a nuclear medical diagnostic apparatus which can examine other parts of the subject M such as the head of the subject M in addition to the breast and the axilla of the subject M.
