The current optical modem is configured with 4 gigabit ports, wherein 1 port and 4 ports are broadband services, 2 port and 3 ports are IPTV services, and the services are divided by different VLANs bound by service provisioning, if only 1 user network line is available, the broadband and IPTV services cannot be provisioned simultaneously, and at least 2 network lines access to downstream devices (routers, computers and set-top boxes), the service interface of the current network optical modem is shown in fig. 1, and the connection diagram of a typical home networking scene device is shown in fig. 2; in the existing practical situation, if only one household embedded network cable is provided, only one service (broadband, alternative to IPTV service) can be opened, the set top box must be directly connected with the optical modem, the household network equipment is inconvenient to arrange and route, and in order to solve the problem of insufficient household embedded network cable of a user, one network cable is stripped into two 4-core network cables, the 4-core network cable is only 100M at most, and the kilomega service installation cannot be satisfied, meanwhile, the set top box still needs the network cable to be directly connected with the optical modem, and the trouble of the equipment arrangement and wiring mode still exists; meanwhile, the service failure problem (for example, broadband service equipment such as a computer and a router is inserted into an IPTV interface, and an IPTV set-top box is inserted into a broadband interface) can be caused when a user inserts a wrong LAN port into a network cable.

Through blind plugging of the optical modem, the optical modem automatically identifies services, single-network multiplexing is realized (one network needs to simultaneously open broadband and ITV services), and in an embodiment, blind plugging of an optical modem port and blind plugging of a router port are simultaneously realized.
The router has the same capability of automatically identifying services as the optical modem on the basis of WAN/LAN port self-adaptation, realizes flexible and convenient networking by adding the router, can open two services of broadband and IPTV and has gigabit service capability at the same time. The optical modem does not need redundant ports, namely only one port in the optical modem is needed to realize the automatic identification of IPTV and broadband, the number of the ports of the existing optical modem is reduced, and meanwhile, the ports can support gigabit broadband.
The optical modem port and router port traffic is automatically identified.
Automatic port identification for optical modems:
1. identifying the service to distinguish between IPTV and broadband: the optical modem analyzes each DHCP message sent by the downlink access terminal, analyzes and judges the message carrying the Option60, and if the plaintext contains SCITV (case indiscriminate) or the ciphertext contains @ ITV (case indiscriminate), the service on the MAC is judged to be IPTV service, and all MAC streams are transferred to a VLAN 43 channel; if the Option60 message has neither 'SCITV' nor '@ ITV' identification, then the service on the MAC is judged to be public network service, a 192.168.XXX.XXX optical modem private network address is distributed to the MAC, and all the MAC streams are uploaded through a private network segment. 2. The router part identifies the WAN/LAN: the router detects the port, firstly defines the port with DHCP request as LAN, secondly initiates DNS request to determine WAN, and realizes WAN/LAN identification and conversion through the three steps for initiating PPPoE simulation test which can not be identified, thereby realizing blind plugging capability.

In an embodiment, the router adopts an AP mode, works in a two-layer bridge mode, directly transparently transmits a set top box DHCP message (identified as an IPTV service through IPTV user account information carried by option 60), and achieves a double blind insertion effect of the optical modem and the router. In another embodiment, the router adopts a routing mode, the IPTV set-top box is inserted into any LAN port of the router in a blind manner, after the router completes automatic identification of the WAN port and the LAN port, an interface (LAN) of the set-top box access router and the WAN port complete automatic negotiation setting in a two-layer bridge mode, i.e., a DHCP message of the set-top box can be transmitted, and the rest LAN ports and the WAN port perform message forwarding normally, so that the router is used for broadband services to access network devices such as a computer host and the like. The router can work in an AP mode or a routing mode, a WAN port and a LAN port are automatically identified in the routing mode, once the IPTV set top box is accessed, the WAN port is automatically marked as the LAN port through message identification, and the LAN port and the WAN port negotiate to be a bridge mode communication mode, so that the two-layer mode transparent transmission of the IPTV message is realized.
