Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, exemplary embodiments according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be apparent that the described embodiments are only some embodiments of the present invention and not all embodiments of the present invention, and it should be understood that the present invention is not limited by the example embodiments described herein. Based on the embodiments of the invention described in the present application, all other embodiments that a person skilled in the art would have without inventive effort shall fall within the scope of the invention.
Hereinafter, a scheme for sharing a target retrieval service among a plurality of retrieval clusters by a plurality of proxy clients and servers according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The solution is described below first from the perspective of the server in connection with fig. 1 to 4, and later from the perspective of the proxy client in connection with fig. 5 to 8.
Fig. 1 illustrates a method 100 for sharing a target retrieval service among a plurality of retrieval clusters, the method 100 may be implemented by a server, as illustrated in fig. 1, and the method 100 may include the steps of:
in step S110, registration-related information of each of a plurality of search clusters is received from a plurality of proxy clients corresponding to each of the plurality of search clusters to register each search cluster, wherein the registration-related information of each search cluster includes an identification of the search cluster.
In the embodiment of the invention, the plurality of search clusters can be a plurality of search clusters in different geographic areas, can also be search clusters belonging to different subjects in the same geographic area, or can be a plurality of search clusters which are independent from each other. The target types (e.g., face, body, non-motor vehicle, etc.) of the target search services provided by the search clusters may be the same or different. The base libraries included in each search cluster may be the same or different. In general, the base libraries included in each search cluster are at least partially different, or the target types of the target search services provided by each search cluster are at least partially different, so that it is more meaningful to share the target search services among each search cluster, and the application scenario of the present invention will be described later by way of example after the specific scheme of the present invention is described.
In an embodiment of the present invention, each search cluster may be configured with a proxy client accordingly, and each proxy client may act as a bridge for interaction of its corresponding search cluster with the server. In order for a search cluster to obtain the search services of other search clusters, each search cluster needs to be registered with a server. Specifically, each proxy client may acquire registration related information of its corresponding search cluster, and then transmit the registration related information to the server. Accordingly, the server receives registration-related information from each proxy client to register each search cluster. The registration process is described below with reference to fig. 2.
Fig. 2 shows a flow diagram of search cluster registration at a server in a method for sharing a target search service among multiple search clusters according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the proxy client A1 corresponding to the search cluster C1 acquires registration related information I1 from the search cluster C1, and transmits the registration related information I1 to the server; similarly, the proxy client A2 corresponding to the search cluster C2 acquires the registration related information I2 from the search cluster C2 and transmits the registration related information I2 to the server; the proxy client A3 corresponding to the search cluster C3 acquires the registration related information I3 from the search cluster C3, and transmits the registration related information I3 to the server.
Typically, the registration-related information for each search cluster includes at least an identification of the search cluster. Further, the registration-related information of each search cluster may further include a target type of the search service of the search cluster. For example, in the example shown in fig. 2, search cluster C1 provides a face, a human body, a non-motor vehicle, a motor vehicle search service; the retrieval cluster C2 provides a face and motor vehicle retrieval service; the retrieval cluster C3 provides face and body retrieval services. Further, the registration related information of each search cluster may further include base information of the search cluster, where the base information may indicate an identity and a sharing authority of each base included in the search cluster, where the sharing authority of one base of a search cluster may indicate which search clusters have authority to search the base of the search cluster, and/or which search clusters do not have authority to search the base of the search cluster. Further, the registration-related information of each search cluster may further include feature value model information of the search cluster, the feature value model information indicating a feature value extraction model employed by the search cluster. Since the feature value extraction model adopted by each search cluster may be different, the feature value extraction model adopted by each search cluster is stored in a model bin of the server, so that the server finds a corresponding model from the model bin according to the feature value model information of the search cluster included in the registration related information, thereby facilitating obtaining a feature value applicable to the feature value extraction model of the server when the search service is shared among the search clusters, which will be described further below.
After the server acquires the registration information, the server may register each search cluster. By way of example, the server may include functional modules for registration subscription, rights management, operation and maintenance center, and user management.
With continued reference back to FIG. 1, the subsequent steps of method 100 are described below.
In step S120, a search request of a first search cluster is received from a first proxy client corresponding to the first search cluster, where the search request includes an image to be detected and an identification of a second search cluster requesting a search, and the first search cluster and the second search cluster are registered search clusters.
In the embodiment of the invention, for the search cluster registered in the server, a search request can be initiated to acquire search services from other search clusters; accordingly, the search service may be provided to other search clusters according to the search request of the other search clusters. For simplicity of description, in the embodiment described in connection with fig. 1, the first retrieval cluster represents the retrieval cluster that initiated the retrieval request, and the second retrieval cluster represents the retrieval cluster that provided the retrieval service to the first retrieval cluster.
Specifically, a search request of a first search cluster may be received by a first proxy client corresponding to the first search cluster and transmitted to a server. Accordingly, the server receives a retrieval request of a first retrieval cluster from a first proxy client corresponding to the first retrieval cluster. In general, the retrieval request may include an image to be detected and an identification of a second retrieval cluster requesting retrieval. The image to be detected generally contains an object to be detected, such as a human face, a human body, a non-motor vehicle, a motor vehicle and the like. Based on the identification of the second search cluster requesting the search included in the search request, the server may determine a target search cluster, i.e., the second search cluster, for which the first search cluster desires to acquire the search service.
In step S130, the image to be detected or the feature value of the image to be detected is transmitted to a second proxy client corresponding to the second search cluster based on the search request, so as to be transmitted to the second search cluster by the second proxy client.
In the embodiment of the present invention, after the server receives the search request from the first search cluster transmitted by the first proxy client, the target search cluster, i.e., the second search cluster, for which the first search cluster desires to obtain the search service, may be determined according to the identifier of the search cluster requested to be searched and the identifier in the registration related information of each search cluster included in the search request. The server may then transmit the image to be detected or the feature value of the image to be detected in the search request to a second proxy client corresponding to a second search cluster, for transmission by the second proxy client to the second search cluster.
Further, the registration related information of each search cluster may further include cluster sharing authority information, where the cluster sharing authority information may indicate sharing authority of the search cluster, i.e. indicate which clusters have authority to obtain the search service from the search cluster, and/or which clusters have no authority to obtain the search service from the search cluster. In this example, upon receiving the retrieval request, the server may determine whether the first retrieval cluster has permission to request retrieval of the second retrieval cluster based on registration-related information of the second retrieval cluster. If the server determines that the first retrieval cluster does not have permission to request retrieval from the second retrieval cluster, information may be returned to the first proxy client of the first retrieval cluster that does not have permission to request. If the server determines that the first retrieval cluster has authority to request for retrieval of the second retrieval cluster, the image to be detected or the characteristic value of the image to be detected in the retrieval request can be transmitted to a second proxy client corresponding to the second retrieval cluster so as to be transmitted to the second retrieval cluster by the second proxy client.
Further, as described above, the registration-related information of each search cluster may include a target type of a search service of the search cluster, and the search request further includes a target type of a request for search. In this example, upon receiving the retrieval request, the server may determine whether the retrieval service of the second retrieval cluster has the target type of the request retrieval based on registration-related information of the second retrieval cluster. For example, the first search cluster requests human search, and assuming that the second search cluster does not provide the search service of the type, the server may return information that the first proxy client of the first search cluster cannot provide the search service. Otherwise, if the server determines that the search service of the second search cluster has the target type of the first search cluster request search, the image to be detected or the characteristic value of the image to be detected in the search request can be transmitted to a second proxy client corresponding to the second search cluster, so that the second proxy client can transmit the image to the second search cluster.
Further, as previously described, the registration-related information of each search cluster may include base information included in the search cluster, the base information indicating identification and sharing rights of each base. In this example, upon receiving the retrieval request, the server may determine, based on registration-related information of the second retrieval cluster, whether the first retrieval cluster has permission to retrieve a base request corresponding to a target type of the requested retrieval in the second retrieval cluster. If the server determines that the first retrieval cluster does not have permission to search the base corresponding to the target type of the request for searching in the second retrieval cluster, information without the permission of the base can be returned to the first proxy client of the first retrieval cluster. If the server determines that the first retrieval cluster has permission to retrieve the base request corresponding to the target type of the request retrieval in the second retrieval cluster, the image to be detected or the characteristic value of the image to be detected in the retrieval request can be transmitted to a second proxy client corresponding to the second retrieval cluster so as to be transmitted to the second retrieval cluster by the second proxy client.
That is, the server transmits the image to be detected or the feature value of the image to be detected in the search request of the first search cluster to the second proxy client corresponding to the second search cluster only when the server determines that the first search cluster has authority to search for the second search cluster request and that the second search cluster has the target type of the first search cluster request to search for the target type of the request to search for the second search cluster is in the search service of the second search cluster.
Further, as previously described, the registration-related information for each search cluster may include eigenvalue model information for that search cluster that indicates the eigenvalue extraction model employed by that search cluster. In this example, after receiving the search request, the server may perform feature extraction on the image to be detected based on the feature value extraction model of the second search cluster, obtain a feature value applicable to the feature value extraction model of the second search cluster corresponding to the image to be detected, and then transmit the feature value to a second proxy client corresponding to the second search cluster, so that the second proxy client transmits the feature value to the second search cluster. Therefore, the second retrieval cluster can directly retrieve according to the feature value corresponding to the image to be detected, which is suitable for the self feature value extraction model, when the second retrieval cluster provides the retrieval service, the step of extracting the features by the second retrieval cluster can be omitted, and the retrieval efficiency is improved.
In another embodiment, the server may directly transmit the image to be detected to a second proxy client corresponding to a second retrieval cluster to be transmitted to the second retrieval cluster by the second proxy client. Therefore, before providing the retrieval service, the second retrieval cluster needs to use the feature extraction model to extract features of the image to be detected, and then use the extracted feature values to retrieve.
After the second retrieval cluster retrieves the retrieval result according to the feature value of the image to be detected, the retrieval result can be transmitted to the second proxy client corresponding to the retrieval result, so that the second proxy client transmits the retrieval result to the server
In step S140, a search result returned by the second search cluster is received from the second proxy client, and the search result is transmitted to the first proxy client, so that the first proxy client transmits the search result to the first search cluster.
In the embodiment of the invention, after receiving the search result from the second proxy client corresponding to the second search cluster, the server may return the search result to the first proxy client corresponding to the first search cluster, so that the first proxy client may retransmit the search result to the first search cluster. Thus, the first retrieval cluster shares the target retrieval service from the second retrieval cluster. In this way, the first retrieval cluster can retrieve the target type of which the first retrieval cluster has no retrieval authority and the second retrieval cluster has the retrieval authority through the second retrieval cluster; alternatively, the first search may be performed by the second search cluster in a base that does not exist in the first search cluster but exists in the second search cluster.
As previously mentioned, in an embodiment of the present invention, the number of the second search clusters that the first search cluster requests to search may be more than one, for example, at least two. Based on this, the server performs the operations described previously for each of the second search clusters. In addition, when the number of the second search clusters requested to be searched by the first search cluster is at least two, the server may receive search results returned by at least two second search clusters from at least two second proxy clients, integrate the search results returned by the at least two second search clusters, and then transmit the integrated search results to the first proxy client corresponding to the first search cluster, so that the first proxy client transmits the integrated search results to the first search cluster. Further described below in conjunction with fig. 3.
Fig. 3 shows a flow diagram of a method for sharing a target search service between multiple search clusters in which one search cluster obtains search results from other search clusters according to an embodiment of the present invention. In the example shown in fig. 3, the search cluster C1, the search cluster C2, and the search cluster C3 are all search clusters that have been registered with the server, and the scene is that there is one face image P at the search cluster C1, and it is desired to search for the related information of the similarity top 100 from the search cluster C2 and the search cluster C3. In this case, it is desirable to acquire the result of the search of the face image P in the bottom libraries K2 and K3 of the bottom libraries K2 and C3 of the C2, in addition to the result of the search of the face image P in the bottom library K1 of the C1. Alternatively, C1 itself does not have a face search authority, and thus it is desirable to acquire a result of searching for the face image P in the bottom libraries K2 and K3 of C2 and C3. In addition, the feature value extraction models adopted by the search clusters C1, C2 and C3 are different, and are respectively an F model, a G model and an H model, and a sharing flow of the target search service is described below.
As shown in fig. 3, the search cluster C1 transmits a search request including the face image to be detected, the respective identifications of the search clusters C2 and C3, and the target type (face in this example) of the request search to the proxy client A1. After receiving the search request, proxy client A1 forwards the search request to the server. The server may first determine whether the search cluster C1 has authority to request a search from the search cluster C2 and the search cluster C3, and if not, the step described later is not performed. After determining that the rights are present, it is determined whether or not the search service of the search cluster C2 and the search cluster C3 has a target type for which search is requested, and if there is no target type for which search is requested, the steps described later are not performed. Then, after determining that the target type of the retrieval request exists, a characteristic value extraction model of the retrieval cluster C2 in a model bin can be used for carrying out characteristic extraction on the face image to be detected in the retrieval request, so as to obtain a characteristic value g of the characteristic value extraction model applicable to the retrieval cluster C2; similarly, a feature value extraction model of the retrieval cluster C3 in the model bin is also used for extracting features of the face image to be detected in the retrieval request, so that a feature value h suitable for the feature value extraction model of the retrieval cluster C3 is obtained. Next, a request (e.g., a parallel transmission request) is transmitted to the proxy clients A2 and A3 corresponding to the search clusters C2 and C3, the extracted feature value g (request parameter) is transmitted to the proxy client A2, and the extracted feature value h (request parameter) is transmitted to the proxy client A3. After receiving the request from the server, the proxy clients A2 and A3 send a request to the corresponding search clusters C2 and C3, transmit the feature value g (request parameter) to the search cluster C2, and transmit the feature value h (request parameter) to the search cluster C3. The retrieval cluster C2 retrieves in the bottom library K2 according to the received characteristic value g to obtain a retrieval result C2 of the similarity top 100, and the retrieval result C2 is returned to the proxy client A2; the retrieval cluster C3 retrieves in the bottom library K3 according to the received characteristic value h, and a retrieval result C3 of the similarity top 100 is obtained and returned to the proxy client A3. The proxy clients A2 and A3 directly return the search results c2 and c3 obtained by the proxy clients to the server, or respectively convert the formats of the search results c2 and c3 into preset unified formats and then transmit the formats to the server. The preset unified format may be understood as a format without version information or a version-free object format that any version can recognize. The server may integrate (e.g., de-duplicate) the search results c2 and c3, e.g., based on the respective top 100 of c2 and c3, into a new top 100, and then transmit the new top 100 to the proxy client A1. After acquiring the integrated search result from the server, the proxy client A1 may directly return the integrated search result to the search cluster C1, or convert the search result in a preset unified format into a search result in a format recognizable by the search cluster C1 and return the search result to the search cluster C1.
Based on the above description, in the method for sharing the target search service among the plurality of search clusters according to the embodiment of the present invention, each search cluster may automatically report the target search service type and other information supported by the search cluster via the respective corresponding proxy client, so as to implement registration at the server, and each registered search cluster may implement cross-platform invocation of the search cluster service. In addition, the whole set of scheme is unified in authority management, unified in resource management and unified in operation and maintenance management, and can support simultaneous retrieval of a plurality of retrieval clusters, support characteristic value retrieval and support retrieval of different models.
In embodiments of the present invention, sharing of the target retrieval service between multiple retrieval clusters may be implemented based on the thraft technique (an interface description language and binary communication protocol). Specifically, a service/library file may be written, interfaces required by each search cluster are written into the service/library file, corresponding library codes are generated according to the proxy client and the server deployment platform (windows or linux), and the library codes are respectively embedded into corresponding services. That is, the aforementioned interactions can be performed based on the thrft technology in the aforementioned search clusters, proxy clients, and servers. During registration, each proxy client acquires registration related information of the retrieval cluster from each retrieval cluster through the threft, and reports the acquired various information to the service center through the threft. When searching, the searching cluster sends a searching request to the corresponding proxy client through the threft, the proxy client forwards the searching request to the server through the threft after receiving the searching request, the server sends the image to be detected or the characteristic value of the image to be detected to the proxy client corresponding to the searching cluster requesting searching through the threft after receiving the searching request, and the proxy client sends the image to be detected or the characteristic value of the image to be detected to the corresponding searching cluster requesting searching through the threft after receiving the image to be detected or the characteristic value of the image to be detected sent by the server.
A usage scenario of a method for sharing a target retrieval service among a plurality of retrieval clusters according to an embodiment of the present invention may be: search services are shared among search clusters having different base libraries. For example, the first search cluster C1, the second search cluster C2 and the third search cluster C3 each have their own base, and have management authority for the image capturing devices in their respective jurisdictions, so that images captured in their respective jurisdictions can be obtained, and in the search cluster intended to be implemented in one area, the first search cluster C1 searches for the target to be searched captured by the image capturing device in another area, for example, when the first search cluster C1 desires to search for the face captured by the image capturing device in the jurisdiction of the first search cluster in the second static face library included in the second search cluster C2 and the third static face library included in the third search cluster C3, the method for sharing the target search service among the multiple search clusters according to the embodiment of the present invention may be implemented to implement the cross-area search.
The usage scenario of the method for sharing the target retrieval service among the plurality of retrieval clusters according to the embodiment of the present invention may be: search services are shared among search clusters having the same base but capable of providing different target search services. For example, the face base libraries included in the first search cluster C1 and the second search cluster C2 are the same and are all general static face libraries, but the first search cluster C1 can only search faces, and the second base library of the second search cluster C2 is a face-human body association library, that is, can also search the human body corresponding to the face, so that a human body search result associated with the face can be obtained from the second search cluster C2 based on the face image shot in the jurisdiction of the first search cluster.
