At present, the screen of the electronic device is more and more large, and then a higher display interface can be provided for a user.
The display screen can have the function of displaying pictures, and the electric connection part is required to be electrically connected with the display screen. Electrical connections are often provided at the edges of the display screen to improve the screen fraction of the electronic device. The electric connection part is arranged at the edge of the display screen, and because the connection and the fixed relation make the electric connection part in a stretching stress state, the circuit at the electric connection part is easy to damage, and the display function of the display screen is influenced.
In view of the above, the present invention provides a novel display module and an electronic device.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a new technical scheme of a display screen module to solve the technical problem that the edge area of a display screen body is easy to damage.

The planar area 101 may be planar, or the planar area 101 may have a certain curvature within an error tolerance, so long as the planar area 110 is substantially planar. The flat area 101 and the arc area 102 are in smooth transition to improve the appearance display effect of the display screen module.
When the display screen module is applied to electronic equipment, the display screen module is arranged on a shell of the electronic equipment, and the arc-shaped surface area 102 extends to the side wall of the shell and is matched with the side wall of the shell; for example, the arc surface area of the glass cover plate 101 and the side wall of the housing are bonded to fix the display screen module on the housing. In the example, the glass cover plate 02 is arranged on the display screen body 02, so that the screen occupation ratio of the display screen module is improved; on the other hand, the glass cover plate 01 can cover the upper display screen body 02, and then can protect the display screen body 02. Wherein glass apron 01 is made by the printing opacity material, does not influence the display effect of display screen body.
For example, the edge region 022 is located at the periphery of the display region 021, wherein the edge region 022 is integrally formed with the display region 021 and seamlessly connected thereto.
When the display screen body 02 of the present embodiment is fixed to the glass cover plate 01 through the optical cement 03, the display area 021 is fixed to the glass cover plate 01 through the optical cement 03, and the edge B of the optical cement is located on the inner side of the display area. Therefore, when the display screen body 02 is fixedly bonded with the glass cover plate 01, the edge region 022 of the display screen body is not fixedly bonded with the glass cover plate 01, so that the display screen body is not stressed by the pressure of the optical cement 03 and the glass cover plate 01, and is not always in a stretching stress state because of being bonded with the glass cover plate 01.
Wherein the inner side of the display area can be understood as: referring to fig. 2, the direction indicated by the downward arrow is the inside.
In one example, referring to fig. 2, the glass cover plate 01 includes a viewing area 011, and an edge B of the optical adhesive is located between an edge C of the display area and an edge a of the viewing area. That is to say that: referring to fig. 1, an edge C of the display area, an edge D of the edge area, and an edge region 022 are located outside an edge B of the optical adhesive.

The optical cement 03 in this example extends out of the visible area 011 of the glass cover plate 01, so that on one hand, the bonding force between the glass cover plate 01 and the display screen body 02 is improved, and the connection firmness of the glass cover plate 01 and the display screen body 02 is improved; on the other hand, when the display screen body 02 is fixedly bonded with the glass cover plate 01, the edge region 022 of the display screen body is not fixedly bonded with the glass cover plate 01, so that the display screen body is not stressed by the pressure of the optical cement 03 and the glass cover plate 01, and is not always in a stretching stress state because of being bonded with the glass cover plate 01. When an electrical connection portion is provided in the edge region 022, the electrical connection portion is used to drive the display region 021 to have a display function. For example, the lines are laid, the pressure and tensile force of the lines can be avoided, and the service life of the lines is prolonged.
In one example, referring to fig. 2, the glass cover plate 01 is formed with a back-off edge 012; the undercut edge 012 is located within the arc-shaped face region 102; the reverse edge 012 is provided above the edge region 022, and is provided separately from the edge region 022. The glass cover plate 01 of the present example is turned over on the display screen body 02 by the turning-over edge 012.
For example, the glass cover plate 01 extends inward to form a reversed edge 012, and the reversed edge 012 is located in an arc face area 022 of the display screen module; when the display screen module is applied to the electronic device, the reverse edge 012 can be matched with the housing of the electronic device, and the display screen module is fixed on the electronic device, so that the electronic device has a function of displaying images.
Optionally, the inverted edge 012 is provided with a color body, and when the display screen module is applied to an electronic device, the inverted edge 012 forms a frame of the display screen module; on the other hand, the user cannot observe the optical cement 02 and the partial display area (the picture displayed by the partial display area is not required to be observed by the user) located inside the inverted edge 012 and the edge area 022 through the color body, so that the aesthetic feeling of the appearance of the electronic device is improved, and the experience of the user is improved.
For example, when the display screen body 02 and the glass cover plate 01 are fixed by the optical adhesive 02, the inverted edge 012 of the glass cover plate 01 is located above the edge area of the display screen body 02, wherein the inverted edge 012 and the edge area 02 are not connected in any way, that is, there is a gap between them, and the width of the gap is the same as the width of the optical adhesive 03. For example, the thickness range of the optical cement 03 is 0.3 cm-0.5 cm, and the inventor finds that the thickness of the optical cement 03 in the range does not affect the bonding strength between the glass cover plate 01 and the display screen body 02; on the other hand, the effect of the display picture in the display area 021 of the display screen body 02 is not affected. Therefore, the width of the gap ranges from 0.3cm to 0.5 cm.
Therefore, the inverted edge 012 is disposed above the edge region 022, and a gap is formed between the inverted edge 012 and the edge region 022, so that the inverted edge 012 and the edge region 022 are separately disposed, and on one hand, when the inverted edge 022 needs to be bent to enable a housing of an electronic device to be connected and fixed, the inverted edge 022 does not apply pressure or tensile force to the edge region 022, thereby improving the service life of the display screen body 02; on the other hand forms the gap between the two, consequently marginal area 022 can not receive optical cement 03 and back-off edge 022's pressure or with the fixed stretching force that needs bear of back-off edge 022, has improved marginal area's life, and then has improved display screen body 02's life, the display screen that makes display screen body 02 can be normal.
In one example, referring to FIG. 4, the area S2 of the display region is greater than the area S1 of the viewable region. In the present example, the area S2 of the display region is larger than the area S1 of the visible region, and when the display region 021 of the display main body 02 and the glass cover plate 01 are connected and fixed by the optical cement 02, on one hand, the display region 021 can be connected and fixed with the visible region 011 and part of the inverted edge of the glass cover plate at the same time, so that the connection firmness of the display main body 02 and the glass cover plate 01 is improved; on the other hand, the stress of the edge area of the display screen body 02 is avoided, and the service life of the edge area is prolonged.
Optionally, the area S2 of the display area is larger than the area S1 of the visible area, so that the display frame that can be observed by the user is the frame displayed by the visible area 011, and compared with the prior art, the present example does not affect the function of the normal display frame of the display screen module, and does not affect the size of the pixels and the frame of the display screen module; the pixel b of the display screen module of this example is located in the visible region 011. That is, the display screen body 02 lights only the pixels located in the visual area 011, so that the lighted pixels form a complete picture; since the area S2 of the display region is larger than the area S1 of the visible region, the pixel points located outside the visible region 011 are not lighted. The service life of the display screen body 02 is prolonged under the condition that the quality of the display screen module and the size of the display screen are not affected.

For example, the number of the arc-shaped surface regions 102 is not limited, and there may be only one arc-shaped surface region 102, and one arc-shaped surface region 102 is located on one side of the plane region 101 in the width direction of the plane region 101. In one example, the light transmittance of the optical paste 03 ranges from 60% to 100%. The light transmittance is preferably 100%. When realizing fixed display screen body 02 and glass apron 01, do not produce the hindrance to the demonstration function of display screen body, ensure the holistic rational design of structure.
According to another embodiment of the present invention, an electronic device is provided. The electronic equipment comprises a shell and the display screen module;
