The existing electric energy transmission mode is to directly transmit electric energy through two cables, and a protection device is arranged at the tail end of the cable, but the protection device cannot protect the cable. Since the switch cannot be installed at the battery outlet, only the end equipment can be protected, which can cause the cable between the battery chamber and the direct current screen to be unprotected. When a short circuit occurs in a cable, the failure cannot be removed, and the short circuit between the battery electrodes is directly caused, which may cause a fire due to burning of the cable or explosion of the battery. Therefore, to ensure safety, a dc protection should be provided at the battery outlet. However, most of storage batteries in the transformer substation are lead-acid valve-regulated storage batteries, flammable and explosive gases such as hydrogen, oxygen or corrosive gas sulfuric acid vapor can be generated when the storage batteries are used, if a protection device trips, even a tiny spark can ignite the gas or ignite the gas, and serious safety accidents such as fire disasters can be caused.
In order to avoid the above accidents, the conventional practice adopted at present is: the storage battery chamber is not provided with any protection, and electric energy is respectively transmitted outwards through two single-core cables.
