Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of optical fiber adapters, in particular to an LC, SC/APC, FC/APC, ST and DIN improved test and emergency optical fiber adapter.
Background
The optical fiber adapter is an optical fiber connector with two ends capable of being inserted into different types of interfaces so as to realize conversion among the different interfaces. Because the optical fiber interfaces are of various types, the optical fiber adapters are of various types, the existing optical fiber adapters can be only used for conversion between the two interfaces, only the connectors matched with the optical fiber adapters can be inserted, and the non-matched connectors cannot be inserted. Such adapters are not interchangeable in testing or emergency use. This limitation determines that you must use an LC type adapter on one end when you use the optical test tool to perform daily tests, where you are LC type connectors on the field; the site is an MU type connector, and one end of the connector is an MU type adapter; the site is SC, SC/APC type connector, and one end of the connector is SC, SC/APC type adapter; the field is FC, FC/APC type connectors, and one end of the field is an FC, FC/APC type adapter; the field is an ST type connector, and one end of the field is an ST type adapter which is needed to be used; you have to use a DIN type adapter on one end, which is a DIN type connector on the field. If LC, SC/APC, FC/APC, ST and DIN type interfaces exist in a test field at the same time, one adapter of each interface needs to be prepared, at least seven adapters are needed, and the matching condition of the other end of the adapter and a test jumper carried by the adapter is not considered. This non-universal design brings great inconvenience to daily test.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is directed to an improved testing and emergency fiber adapter for LC, SC/APC, FC/APC, ST and DIN, which solves the above problems.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention provides the following technical scheme:
an improved test and emergency fiber optic adapter includes an adapter body; a first interface is arranged at one end of the adapter body, a second interface is arranged at the other end of the adapter body, a cylindrical first accommodating cavity is arranged in the first interface, and the first accommodating cavity is matched with ceramic cores of an SC/APC type optical fiber connector, an FC/APC type optical fiber connector, an ST type optical fiber connector and a DIN type optical fiber connector; and a cylindrical second accommodating cavity is arranged in the second interface, the second accommodating cavity is matched with the ceramic cores of the LC type optical fiber connector and the MU type optical fiber connector, and the second accommodating cavity is communicated with the first accommodating cavity.
As a further scheme of the invention: the diameter of the first accommodating cavity is 2.500-2.501 mm.
As a still further scheme of the invention: the diameter of the second accommodating cavity is 1.251-1.252 mm.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that: one end of the LC, SC/APC, FC/APC, ST and DIN improved test and emergency optical fiber adapter can be plugged with an SC, SC/APC type optical fiber connector, an FC, FC/APC type optical fiber connector, an ST type optical fiber connector and a DIN type optical fiber connector, and the other end of the LC type optical fiber connector and an MU type optical fiber connector, so that the application range of the optical fiber adapter is greatly expanded, and the number of optical fiber adapters required to be carried during daily test is reduced.
