In the present embodiment, the ice making device includes a frame 300, an ice making tray 100, a water flood prevention barrier 200, and an ice bank (not shown) disposed under the ice making tray 100 to store ice pieces falling from the ice making tray 100. In embodiments of the present invention, the frame may be a portion of any ice making device that is rotatably coupled to the ice tray. The ice-making tray 100 is used for making ice cubes, and the ice-making tray 100 is rotatably arranged in the frame between an ice-making position and an ice-shedding position. The water flood prevention barrier 200 is disposed at upper edges of both sidewalls of the ice making tray 100, and an upper portion of the water flood prevention barrier 200 extends toward the ice making tray 100. The water flood prevention barrier 200 rotates following the rotation of the ice making tray 100. Specifically, the ice tray 100 is located at an ice making position when ice making is completed, and when ice releasing is required after the ice making is completed, the ice tray 100 rotates to the ice releasing position so as to facilitate ice cubes to be released and fall into an ice storage box below the ice tray 100, and in the process of rotating the ice tray 100, the overflow preventing baffle 200 rotates along with the rotation of the ice tray 100, that is, the movement tracks of the overflow preventing baffle 200 and the ice tray 100 are always consistent.
The ice making device of the present invention can prevent water from overflowing or splashing from the inside of the ice making tray 100 when a user opens or closes the refrigerator door by providing the water overflow preventing shutter 200 at the upper edge of the side wall of the ice making tray 100 and the water overflow preventing shutter 200 rotating along with the rotation of the ice making tray 100. And, because the motion trails of the overflow preventing baffle 200 and the ice making tray 100 are consistent all the time, the matching connection of the two is stable, the overflow preventing effect is good, and no noise is generated.
In the present embodiment, the two sidewalls of the ice tray 100 are a first sidewall 110 close to the door and a second sidewall 120 far from the door. The first sidewall 110 and the second sidewall 120 have the same structure. Specifically, the water flood prevention barriers 200 may be respectively provided at upper edges of the first and second sidewalls 110 and 120.
In the present embodiment, the upper portion of the water flood prevention barrier 200 is extended toward the ice making tray 100, and in fact, the water flood prevention barrier 200 is extended upward and toward the center of the ice making tray 100, so that when water in the ice making tray 100 is splashed or overflowed, the water is blocked by the water flood prevention barrier 200 and falls into the ice making tray again.
Further, the water flood prevention barrier 200 includes an engaging portion 210 and a blocking portion 220 located above the engaging portion 210. The upper edge of the sidewall of the ice-making tray 100 is provided with a fitting part 101 at a position corresponding to the engaging part 210, and the engaging part 210 is engaged with the fitting part to mount the water flood prevention barrier 200 on the sidewall of the ice-making tray 100. The overflow preventing baffle 200 is detachably connected to the ice making tray 100, so that the overflow preventing baffle 200 can be conveniently replaced or maintained, and the overflow preventing baffle 200 and the ice making tray are stably matched. The water flood prevention barriers 200 of the first and second sidewalls 110 and 120 have the same structure. In the embodiment of the invention, the upper edges of the first sidewall 110 and the second sidewall 120 are both provided with the matching portion 101.
Specifically, the engaging portion 210 is used for being snapped with the first sidewall 110 (or the second sidewall 120) of the ice-making tray 100, and the shielding portion 220 has a shielding function for preventing water in the ice-making tray 100 from overflowing or splashing out. The shielding portion 220 is extended toward the ice making tray to better perform a water flood prevention effect.
Preferably, the engaging part 210 includes a groove 211, the fitting part 101 includes a protrusion 102 extending in the width direction of the ice-making tray, and the protrusion 102 is located in the groove 211 when the water flood prevention barrier 200 is mounted to the first sidewall 110 (or the second sidewall 120) of the ice-making tray 100. The water flood prevention barrier 200 may be stably coupled to the ice making tray 100 by the engagement of the protrusions 102 extending in the width direction of the ice making tray 100 with the recesses 211 of the water flood prevention barrier, and the displacement of the water flood prevention barrier 200 in the height direction of the ice making tray 100 is restricted.
Further, the groove 211 is a through groove formed along the length direction of the water flood prevention barrier 200. The protrusions 102 are provided in plurality and spaced apart along the length of the upper edge of the first sidewall 110 (or the second sidewall 120). The upper edge of the first sidewall 110 (or the second sidewall 120) includes a first end 103 and a second end 104 opposite to each other in the longitudinal direction of the ice making tray 100, and the water flood prevention barrier 200 can be translated from the first end 103 to the second end 104, so that the protrusions 102 are all located in the grooves 211.
Preferably, the protrusion 102 has a size in a width direction of the ice-making tray 100 greater than a width of the groove 211. Specifically, the protrusion 102 includes a first protrusion 1021 extending toward the inside of the ice-making tray 100 and a second protrusion 1022 extending toward the outside of the first ice-making tray 100. The sum of the sizes of the first protrusion, the first sidewall (or the second sidewall), and the second protrusion is slightly larger than the width of the recess 211 in the width direction of the ice making tray 100, so that when the water flood prevention barrier 200 is mounted on the first sidewall 110 (or the second sidewall 120) of the ice making tray 100, the displacement of the water flood prevention barrier 200 in the length direction of the ice making tray 100 can be restricted.
In summary, when the water flood prevention baffle 200 is mounted on the first sidewall 110 (or the second sidewall 120) of the ice making tray 100, the displacement of the water flood prevention baffle 200 in the height direction and the length direction of the ice making tray 100 may be simultaneously limited, and the water flood prevention baffle 200 may be more stably connected to the ice making tray 100.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the shielding portion 220 is made of a soft material, and the engaging portion 210 is made of a hard material. Specifically, the shielding portion 220 may be made of TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) or silicone, and the engaging portion 210 may be made of PP (polypropylene plastic) or POM (polyoxymethylene resin). Thus, when the ice tray 100 is in the ice-releasing position, the water overflow preventing shutter 200 is located below the ice tray 100, and when ice blocks fall off, the ice blocks can fall into the ice bank normally by turning out from the blocking portion 220 because the blocking portion 220 is made of a soft material. The engaging portion 210 is made of a hard material and can be firmly connected to the sidewall of the ice tray 100.
