Description

Switch configuration method and server
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a switch configuration method and a server.
Background
Most of the currently used network switches require manual login to the switch for complex configuration, and the method is suitable for a few switches and a small amount of configuration. But as the number of switches increases dramatically, the configuration becomes more and more complex. For example, the change of STP protocol, LACP protocol, etc. needs to be unified over the entire network, if the configuration is not in a certain order, a long interruption of the network is caused if the configuration is light, and a network storm is caused if the configuration is heavy, so that the entire network is completely paralyzed and cannot be recovered. Under the condition, the traditional method is very popular.
Therefore, in order to perform the switch configuration in the whole network quickly in a complex and variable network environment, especially in a networking and joint debugging environment, reduce the network interruption time to the maximum extent, and ensure the configuration consistency, it is necessary to research a new switch configuration method.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a switch configuration method and a server, which are used for solving the problems that the prior art is difficult to adapt to the configuration of a whole network switch under a complex environment and realize synchronous configuration by the traditional manual means.

In addition, the configuration commands in the configuration file are configured with corresponding timestamps, and the synchronization of the configuration work of all the switches and the sequence of the configuration execution can be ensured by presetting the specific time of the timestamp, namely the execution time of the corresponding configuration command. Therefore, the scheme can automatically carry out switch configuration work with certainty and timeliness, ensures the consistency of the configuration work, greatly reduces the interruption time in the configuration process, reduces the problems of synchronization, easy error and the like caused by manual configuration, and greatly improves the network configuration efficiency.
Further, step S4 is followed by the following steps:
s41: if the preparation confirmation receipt of a certain switch is not received within the preset time, returning to the step S3; when the number of times of returning to step S3 reaches the preset number of times and the preparation acknowledgement receipt of a certain switch is not received within the preset time, step S42 is performed;
s42: sending configuration canceling information to all the switches;
s43: and receiving acknowledgement and cancellation configuration receipt fed back by the switches, and returning to the step S1 after receiving acknowledgement and cancellation configuration receipt of all the switches.
The process manages the possible instability of the network environment in advance, ensures that all the configuration works take effect at the same time, and withdraws all the configuration works if the configuration work of one switch cannot be ensured to take effect, so as to achieve the aim of safe configuration.
Further, step S43 is followed by the following steps:

In specific implementation, all switches in the switch network achieve time synchronization by running a 1588V2 clock synchronization protocol. The precision can reach millisecond level by running 1588V2 clock synchronization protocol, so as to ensure the consistency of all the switch configuration work.
For a further clear understanding of the present solution, it will now be described in its entirety.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, when the switch configuration is performed, the switch configuration includes a server and a switch network, the server runs a service module, and each switch runs an interface module. Before configuration work is performed, all switches run a 1588V2 clock synchronization protocol for time synchronization, so that switch configuration can be performed based on time. The switch configuration process is divided into several phases: the method comprises a configuration file preparation stage, a configuration file issuing stage, a configuration confirmation stage, a configuration canceling stage and a configuration executing stage. The processes are performed sequentially, and the consistency of the global switch configuration is ensured through a strict mechanism. Wherein:
a configuration file preparation stage: configuration file preparation is similar to that of a standard switch, but the configuration file in this method is time stamped to indicate the specific time on the switch that the configuration command needs to be executed, to the nearest millisecond. Multiple timestamps may be configured, each with a corresponding configuration command underneath. Accurate control over the configuration of the switch can be achieved, such as a switch 13, 52.001 point in time, closing ports 1 and 2, and 13, 52.031 point in time, configuring ports 1 and 2 to be link aggregation group 1, 13. Bswitch 13 is. In this case, the switches a and B can perform the configuration and validation of the link aggregation group smoothly within 100 milliseconds without generating a network storm to make the network unusable. The preparation of the configuration file requires a network expert to perform detailed configuration on the whole network switch to ensure the correctness of the configuration sequence and the configuration command.
A configuration file issuing stage: and the service module sends the corresponding configuration file to an interface module on the switch. The interface module is responsible for checking the correctness of the configuration file, including whether the IP address of the switch is own, whether the configured timestamp is reasonable, whether the configuration command is correct and the like, sending a sending confirmation receipt for confirming the sending of the configuration file to the service module after the checking, and sending an error information receipt of the configuration file to the service module if any problem exists. And the service module enters the next stage after receiving the correct receipt of the configuration files of all the switches, and if receiving the wrong receipt of the configuration file information of a certain switch, the service module sends alarm information and stops the next operation. If the receipt of a certain switch is not received within a certain time (configurable), retransmission operation is carried out for a plurality of times, the maximum retransmission times is preferably three, after all the operations are overtime, alarm information is sent and the next operation is stopped, and at the moment, the manager confirms whether to return to the preparation stage of the configuration file.
A configuration confirmation stage: after entering this stage, the service module sends configuration confirmation information to all switches and waits for receipt of all switches. This information is primarily to confirm to the switch that it is ready to begin performing configuration work for the switch in accordance with the configuration file. The interface module is responsible for receiving the information and sending a ready confirmation receipt to the service module when the configuration file is confirmed to exist. And the service module enters a configuration execution stage after receiving the preparation confirmation receipts of all the switches. If the receipt of a certain switch is not received within a certain time (configurable), several retransmission operations are carried out, preferably the maximum retransmission times is three, and after all the operations are overtime, alarm information is sent and the configuration cancellation stage is entered.
A configuration cancellation stage: after entering this stage, the service module sends the information of canceling the configuration to all the switches and waits for the receipt of all the switches. This information is mainly information for the switch to deconfigure execution work. The interface module is responsible for receiving the message and sending a confirmation and cancellation configuration receipt to the service module under the condition of confirming and cancellation configuration. And the service module returns to the preparation stage of the configuration file after receiving confirmation and cancellation configuration receipts of all the switches. If the receipt of a certain switch is not received within a certain time (configurable), retransmission operation is carried out for a plurality of times, the maximum retransmission times is preferably three, after all the operations are overtime, alarm information is sent and the next operation is stopped, and at the moment, the manager confirms whether to return to a configuration confirmation stage or a configuration file preparation stage.
A configuration execution stage: after the switch enters the stage, if the switch does not receive the configuration canceling information, the switch performs related configuration work according to the time designated in the configuration file and sends configuration progress information to the service module, wherein the progress information comprises the condition that the configuration of each switch is successful or failed in each step, and if the service module receives the failed progress information, the switch sends an alarm to notify the service module of manual intervention.
The scheme divides the switch configuration process into several stages: the configuration file preparation stage, the configuration file release stage, the configuration confirmation stage, the configuration cancellation stage and the configuration execution stage ensure the consistency of the configuration process. The configuration file is provided with the execution time stamp, so that the sequentiality of configuration execution is ensured. The configuration file is sent to the interface module through the service module, the service module is responsible for monitoring the whole configuration process, and if a problem occurs, an alarm is sent out in time to inform manual intervention. The interface module is responsible for receiving the configuration file, verifying the correctness of the configuration file, sending various confirmation information to the service module and finally executing the configuration process. According to the scheme, manual configuration of the switch is not needed in a complex environment, automatic switch configuration work with certainty and timeliness can be carried out, the consistency of the configuration work is ensured, the interruption time in the configuration process is greatly reduced, and errors possibly caused by manual configuration are reduced.
The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention and is not intended to limit the present invention, and various modifications and changes may be made by those skilled in the art. Any modification, equivalent replacement, or improvement made within the spirit and principle of the present invention should be included in the protection scope of the present invention.
