Abstract
The application provides a display device, including: a display panel including a display area and a bezel area, the bezel area being disposed along a periphery of the display area, the display panel being configured to output a display screen on the display area; the picture amplifying assembly is arranged on the display panel and covers the display area and the frame area; the image amplifying assembly is provided with an incident surface and an emergent surface, the incident surface comprises a first area and a second area, the first area is overlapped with the display area, the second area is opposite to the frame area, a total reflection layer is arranged on the second area, the display image enters the image amplifying assembly from the incident surface and outputs an amplified display image from the emergent surface, and the projection of the amplified display image on the display panel covers the display area and extends to the frame area.
Description
Technical Field
The application relates to the technical field of display, in particular to a display device and a splicing display device.
Background
With the advance of technology, Flat-Panel displays (FPDs) have almost completely replaced Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) displays, and become the mainstream of Display technology for home and commercial entertainment nowadays. Compared with the bulky volume of the traditional CRT display, the flat panel display has the characteristics of low power consumption, low radiation and thinness which is dominant in volume. Meanwhile, the size of the flat panel display is expanding, which leads to the popularization of the thin digital television in the field of consumer entertainment, such as general home viewing, outdoor advertising, exhibition, etc. The most commonly used flat panel displays in information appliances (information appliances) are Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD) and Plasma Display Panels (PDP).
Also, since flat panel displays including digital televisions, liquid crystal displays, and the like are increasingly required to be integrated into environments and to be used in various applications, the displays tend to have narrow frame design directions to increase display areas or reduce interference and obtrusiveness of frames on display images. On the other hand, in the application fields of large-sized screens, such as large-sized video walls and outdoor advertisements, where a plurality of displays are combined to display a large-sized screen, in the prior art, the frame of the flat panel display undoubtedly causes interference of the large-sized screen, and even if the frame of the display is reduced to the minimum by the latest technology at present, the visual damage caused by the frame cannot be completely eliminated.
Therefore, the prior art has defects and needs to be improved urgently.
Disclosure of Invention
An object of the embodiments of the present application is to provide a display device and a tiled display device, which can eliminate interference of a frame of a display panel on a display screen in tiled display.
An embodiment of the present application provides a display device, including:
a display panel including a display area and a bezel area, the bezel area being disposed along a periphery of the display area, the display panel being configured to output a display screen on the display area; and
the picture amplifying assembly is arranged on the display panel and covers the display area and the frame area;
the image amplifying assembly is provided with an incident surface and an emergent surface, the incident surface comprises a first area and a second area, the first area is overlapped with the display area, the second area is opposite to the frame area, a total reflection layer is arranged on the second area, the display image enters the image amplifying assembly from the incident surface and outputs an amplified display image from the emergent surface, and the projection of the amplified display image on the display panel covers the display area and extends to the frame area.
Optionally, in the display device according to this embodiment of the present application, the display panel includes a display layer and a transparent cover plate on the display layer;
the transparent cover plate and the picture amplifying assembly are of an integral structure, and a lens structure is arranged on the part, opposite to the transparent cover plate, of the picture amplifying assembly.
Optionally, in the display device according to the embodiment of the present application, the image magnifying assembly includes a first substrate, a surface of a side of the first substrate close to the display panel is the incident surface, and a surface of a side of the first substrate away from the display panel is the emergent surface; the incident surface or the emergent surface is arranged into a convex lens structure.
Optionally, in the display device according to the embodiment of the present application, the image magnifying assembly includes a second substrate and a convex lens structure disposed on the second substrate, and the second substrate and the convex lens structure are sequentially disposed on the display panel.
Optionally, in the display device according to the embodiment of the present application, the convex lens structure is made of a transparent adhesive material.
Optionally, in the display device according to the embodiment of the present application, the transparent adhesive material is water adhesive or optically transparent adhesive.
Optionally, in the display device according to the embodiment of the present application, the convex lens structure includes a plurality of convex lenses, and the plurality of convex lenses are arranged in an array.
Optionally, in an embodiment of the display device of the present application, 9 the display device according to claim 1, wherein the display device further includes an adhesive, and the display panel and the image magnifying assembly are attached by the adhesive.
In a second aspect, an embodiment of the present application provides a tiled display device, including a plurality of display devices, where the display device is the display device described in any one of the above.
According to the embodiment of the application, the frame amplifying assembly is adopted to amplify the display frame so as to cover the frame area, so that the interference of the frame of the display panel on the display frame in the splicing display can be eliminated.

Detailed Description
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present application will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present application. It is to be understood that the embodiments described are only a few embodiments of the present application and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
In the description of the present application, it is to be understood that the terms "first", "second" are used for descriptive purposes only and are not to be construed as indicating or implying relative importance or implying any number of technical features indicated. Thus, features defined as "first", "second", may explicitly or implicitly include one or more of the described features. In the description of the present application, "plurality" means two or more unless specifically limited otherwise.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a display device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As shown in fig. 1, a display device according to an embodiment of the present application includes: a display panel 10 and a screen enlarging assembly 30.
The display panel 10 includes a display area 11 and a frame area 12, the frame area 12 is disposed along a periphery of the display area 11, and the display panel 10 is configured to output a display screen on the display area 11; the picture enlarging assembly 30 is arranged on the display panel 10 and covers the display area 11 and the frame area 12; the image amplifying assembly has an incident surface and an exit surface, the incident surface includes a first area 301 and a second area 302, the first area 301 is overlapped with the display area 302, the second area 302 is opposite to the frame area 12, a total reflection layer is disposed on the second area 302, the display image enters the image amplifying assembly 20 from the incident surface and outputs an amplified display image from the exit surface, wherein the projection of the amplified display image on the display panel covers the display area 11 and extends to the frame area 12.
Preferably, the magnification of the image magnification assembly 30 is related to the ratio of the frame width to the width of the display area 11, and is embodied in that after the image magnification assembly 30 magnifies the display image, the magnified display image just covers the frame area 12 completely and does not exceed the range of the frame area 12.
Specifically, in some embodiments, as shown in fig. 2, the image enlarging element 30 includes a first substrate 31, a surface of a side of the first substrate 31 close to the display panel 10 is the incident surface, and a surface of a side of the first substrate 31 away from the display panel 10 is the emergent surface; the entrance face or the exit face is provided as a convex lens structure 32.
In some embodiments, the exit face is provided as a convex lens structure 32, as shown in fig. 3. In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 4, the entrance face is arranged as a convex lens structure 32. The convex lens structure 32 includes a plurality of convex lenses 321, and the convex lenses 321 are arranged in an array at regular intervals.
As shown in fig. 5, it is understood that, in some embodiments, the image magnifying assembly 30 includes a second substrate 31 and a convex lens structure 32 disposed on the second substrate 31, and the second substrate 31 and the convex lens structure 32 are sequentially disposed on the display panel 10. The convex lens structure 32 can be formed by photolithography on the upper surface of the second substrate 31. Alternatively, the convex lens structure 32 may be formed by a casting process, that is, the convex lens structure and the second substrate are manufactured together by a casting or integral molding process.
The convex lens structure 32 is made of transparent plastic material. The transparent adhesive material is water adhesive or optical transparent adhesive. The convex lens structure 32 includes a plurality of convex lenses 321, and the plurality of convex lenses 321 are arranged in an array.
It is understood that, in some embodiments, the display device further includes an adhesive 20, and the display panel 10 and the picture enlarging assembly 30 are adhered by the adhesive 10.
As shown in fig. 6, it is to be understood that in some embodiments, the display panel 10 optionally includes a display layer 101 and a transparent cover plate 102 on the display layer 101; the transparent cover plate 102 and the image magnifying assembly 30 are integrated, and a convex lens structure 32 is disposed on a portion of the image magnifying assembly 30 opposite to the transparent cover plate 10. By arranging the transparent cover plate 102 and the image amplifying assembly 30 as an integral structure, the thickness of the display device can be reduced, and on the other hand, the loss of the display image at the boundary between the display panel and the image amplifying assembly 30 can be avoided, and the display quality can be improved.
It is understood that the transparent cover 102 and the image magnifying assembly 30 are made of glass materials.
As shown in fig. 7, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a tiled display device, where the tiled display device includes a plurality of display devices 100, and the display device is the display device in any of the embodiments described above.
Referring to fig. 8 and fig. 9, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a tiled display device, which includes a plurality of display panels 10 and a screen enlarging assembly 20; the display panels 10 are arranged in an array manner, each display panel 10 includes a display area 11 and a frame area 12, the frame area 12 is arranged along the periphery of the display area 11, the display panel 10 is used for outputting a display picture on the display area, the picture enlarging assembly 20 covers the display area 11 and the frame area 12 of each display panel 10, the picture enlarging assembly 30 has an incident surface and an emergent surface, the incident surface 30 includes a plurality of first areas and a plurality of second areas, the first areas are overlapped with the display areas, the second areas are opposite to the frame areas, the second areas are provided with total reflection layers, the display picture enters the picture enlarging assembly from the first areas of the incident surface and outputs the enlarged display picture from the emergent surface, wherein, and the projection of the enlarged display picture on the display panel covers the display area and the frame area. The display panels 10 and the screen enlarging assembly 30 are connected by the adhesive 20.
In some embodiments, the image enlarging element 30 includes a first substrate, a surface of a side of the first substrate close to the display panel is the incident surface, and a surface of a side of the first substrate away from the display panel is the emergent surface; each first region of the incidence surface is arranged into a convex lens structure.
In some embodiments, the image magnifying assembly 30 includes a second substrate and a plurality of convex lens structures disposed on the second substrate, and the second substrate and the plurality of convex lens structures are sequentially disposed on the display panel.
According to the embodiment of the application, the frame amplifying assembly is adopted to amplify the display frame so as to cover the frame area, so that the interference of the frame of the display panel on the display frame in the splicing display can be eliminated.

Claims (10)
1. A display device, comprising:
a display panel including a display area and a bezel area, the bezel area being disposed along a periphery of the display area, the display panel being configured to output a display screen on the display area; and
the picture amplifying assembly is arranged on the display panel and covers the display area and the frame area;
the image amplifying assembly is provided with an incident surface and an emergent surface, the incident surface comprises a first area and a second area, the first area is overlapped with the display area, the second area is opposite to the frame area, a total reflection layer is arranged on the second area, the display image enters the image amplifying assembly from the incident surface and outputs an amplified display image from the emergent surface, and the projection of the amplified display image on the display panel covers the display area and extends to the frame area.
2. The display device according to claim 1, wherein the display panel comprises a display layer and a transparent cover plate on the display layer;
the transparent cover plate and the picture amplifying assembly are of an integral structure, and a lens structure is arranged on the part, opposite to the transparent cover plate, of the picture amplifying assembly.
3. The display device according to claim 1, wherein the image magnifying element comprises a first substrate, a surface of the first substrate on a side close to the display panel is the incident surface, and a surface of the first substrate on a side away from the display panel is the emergent surface; the incident surface or the emergent surface is arranged into a convex lens structure.
4. The display device according to claim 1, wherein the image magnifying assembly comprises a second substrate and a convex lens structure disposed on the second substrate, and the second substrate and the convex lens structure are sequentially disposed on the display panel.
5. The display device according to claim 4, wherein the convex lens structure is made of transparent glue.
6. The display device according to claim 5, wherein the transparent adhesive material is a water adhesive or an optically transparent adhesive.
7. A display device as claimed in claim 3 or 4, wherein the lenticular structure comprises a plurality of lenticules arranged in an array.
8. The display device according to claim 7, wherein the convex lens is a micro-scale convex lens or a millimeter-scale convex lens.
9. The display device according to claim 1, further comprising an adhesive, wherein the display panel and the picture enlarging element are adhered by the adhesive.
10. A tiled display arrangement comprising a plurality of display arrangements, the display arrangements according to any of claims 1-9.
