Exemplary method
Fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating a pet identification method based on image recognition according to an exemplary embodiment of the present application. The embodiment can be applied to an application terminal, for example, application software (app) using the intelligent electronic device as a carrier, and the application terminal can acquire an image of the pet by means of an image acquisition device of the intelligent electronic device and transmit the image and registration information of the pet to a server to realize identification of the pet.
As shown in fig. 1, the pet identification method based on image recognition of the present application may include the following steps:
step 101, collecting a first image containing key information of a pet to be identified.
In the present Application, the Application terminal may be, for example, an App (Application program) running on a mobile terminal device, including but not limited to all mobile terminal devices such as android and ios. And prompt information or operation icons of image acquisition can be displayed through the user interaction interface. The user can call the image acquisition device of the intelligent electronic equipment or the mobile terminal equipment by clicking the prompt message or the operation icon so as to acquire the image of the pet to be identified.
The pet to be identified may be, for example, a dog, a cat, or the like. The key information of the pet to be identified can be facial feature information, facial feature information and distinctive feature information of the body of the pet, for example. In the step, the key information of the pet is collected through an image collecting device of the intelligent electronic equipment or the mobile terminal equipment, so that a first image containing the key information of the pet to be identified is obtained. The first image is not limited to a black-and-white image, a color image, or the like.
And 102, sending the first image to a server so that the server identifies the pet to be identified according to the pre-stored identification information to obtain an identification result.
In the embodiment of the application, the server can store the identification information of the pet to be identified in advance. The identification information may include a first image of the pet to be identified and registered identity information corresponding to the first image. Illustratively, the identification information of the pet a includes a facial image of the pet a and owner contact information of the pet. The registered identity information may include, for example, the breed of the pet to be identified, contact information (e.g., contact phone, contact address, etc.) of the owner of the pet to be identified, or the breed of the pet to be identified and contact information of the owner of the pet to be identified.
After the application terminal sends the first image of the pet to be identified to the server, the server can search the image of the pet to be identified in the image in the pre-stored identification information, for example, the similarity between the first image of the pet to be identified and each image in the pre-stored identification information is calculated, the similarity ranking is performed, and the registration identity information corresponding to the image with the highest similarity is determined as the registration identity information of the pet to be identified. In other embodiments, a similarity threshold may be set in the server, the highest similarity is compared with the similarity threshold based on the sorted similarity sorting information, and only when the highest similarity is greater than the similarity threshold, the registered identity information corresponding to the image with the highest similarity is determined as the registered identity information of the pet to be identified, so as to improve the accuracy of the pet identity identification. The server may determine the registered identity information corresponding to the image with the highest similarity as the recognition result.
And step 103, receiving the identification result sent by the server.
In the application, the application terminal may display the received identification result, for example, display the contact information and the contact address of the owner of the pet. Therefore, the current user can help the lost pet contact the owner in time, and the owner who helps the lost pet can find the lost pet in time.
In other embodiments, the application terminal further provides a pet information registration entrance, for example, when the pet owner takes the pet, the application terminal may be used to call the image collecting device to collect the second image containing the key information of the pet to be identified, and may receive the registration identity information of the pet input by the user, so as to associate the second image of the pet with the registration identity information of the pet to form the identification information of the pet, and send the associated identification information of the pet to the server, so that the server stores the identification information of the pet. Through this embodiment, can carry out effectual identity management to the pet, form pet identity database, improve the probability that the pet lost the recovery.
On the basis of the above embodiment, since the key information of the pet may change during the pet growing process, the present application also provides an embodiment of updating the pet image. Illustratively, this can be achieved by: displaying an image update prompt for reminding a user to update a second image of the pet to be identified; based on this, the step of acquiring a second image containing key information of the pet to be identified may include: and acquiring a third image containing the key information of the pet to be identified according to the image updating prompt so as to update the third image into a second image. For example, an image update prompting period may be set, for example, 3 months, the time for uploading the second image of the pet is used as a starting point, and when the prompting period is reached, the image update prompting is displayed at the application terminal or the user is prompted to update the pet image in a short message manner by acquiring a pre-stored contact phone of the pet owner. Further, when the current image (i.e. the third image) of the pet is acquired, the image is transmitted to the server, so that the server updates the second image in the identification information, i.e. replaces the corresponding second image with the third image.
