Technical Field
Embodiments of the present invention relate to an illumination device, and more particularly, to an illumination device for providing uniform light having at least one indication mark (indicating mark).
Background
In some cases, it is desirable to achieve uniform intensity distribution of light for illumination with beam-modulation techniques (beam profiling), and which includes some indicators for fast field of view (FOV) correction. However, according to the prior art, in addition to the light source, more than one optical element is generally required to meet such requirements. For example, one optical element, such as a diffuser plate (diffuser), is required to achieve uniform light distribution, and another optical element is required to provide an indicator, such as spots (spots).
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a lighting device, which comprises a light source and an optical device. The light source is used for emitting light. The optical device is used for providing uniform light with at least one indicating mark after receiving the light. The optical device includes a diffusion portion and a guide portion. The diffusion part is used for providing uniform light. The guide part is used for providing at least one indication mark.
In some embodiments, the illumination device further includes a collimator disposed between the light source and the optical device, and the collimator is used for condensing light.
In some embodiments, the Light source is a Light-Emitting Diode (LED), a Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser (VCSEL), or a Laser Diode (LD).

The following detailed description is provided by way of example only and is not intended to limit the scope of the present invention, as the present invention may be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the specific embodiments set forth herein. Fig. 1 is a schematic architecture diagram of a lighting device 100 according to a first embodiment of the present invention. The illumination device 100 includes a light source 120 and an optical device 140. The light source 120 is used to emit light. The light source 120 may be a Light Emitting Diode (LED), a Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL), or a Laser Diode (LD). The optical device 140 is a Diffractive Optical Element (DOE) for providing uniform light having at least one index mark after receiving the light.
In the first embodiment of the present invention, the Diffractive Optical Element (DOE) can be used as a diffuser plate (diffuser) to provide uniform light after receiving light. In the first embodiment of the present invention, the Diffractive Optical Element (DOE) can also be used as a pattern generator, and the light passes through the Diffractive Optical Element (DOE) to generate a projected image, wherein the projected image can have a specific pattern with at least one indication mark set by the Diffractive Optical Element (DOE).
In the first embodiment of the present invention, the illumination device 100 may optionally include a collimating mirror 160 disposed between the light source 120 and the optical device 140. The collimator 160 is used to condense light. The optical device 140, i.e. a Diffractive Optical Element (DOE), is used for providing uniform light with at least one index mark after receiving the focused light.
Fig. 2 is a schematic structural diagram of a lighting device 200 according to a second embodiment of the present invention. The illumination device 200 includes a light source 220 and an optical device 240. The light source 220 is used to emit light. The light source 220 may be a Light Emitting Diode (LED), a Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser (VCSEL), or a Laser Diode (LD).
Optical device 240 includes diffuser 242 and guide 244. Diffuser portion 242 and guide portion 244 are disposed on opposite sides of optical device 240. Fig. 3 is a perspective view of an optical device 240 of a lighting device 200 according to a second embodiment of the present invention. The diffuser 242 of the optical device 240 of the illumination device 200 is a micro lens array (micro lens array) for providing uniform light. The diffusing portion 242 of the optical device 240 of the illumination device 200 has a plurality of concave spherical structures periodically disposed on one surface of the optical device 240 of the illumination device 200. The arrangement and/or surface shape of the microlens array is adjustable to change the field of view (FOV) or light intensity distribution.
The guiding portion 244 of the optical device 240 of the illumination device 200 includes at least one lens for providing at least one indication mark. As shown in fig. 3, the guide 244 includes four lenses, thereby providing four index marks. It should be noted that the number of lenses is adjustable, thereby changing the number of index marks. It should be noted that the position of the lens is adjustable, thereby changing the position of the index mark.
In some embodiments of the present invention, the illumination device includes a light source and an optical device. The light source is used for emitting light. The optical device is used for providing uniform light with at least one indicating mark after receiving the light. The optical device includes a diffusion portion and a guide portion. The diffusion may have a sub-wavelength structure (subwavelength structure) or a surface relief structure (surface relief structure), or the diffusion may be a Diffractive Optical Element (DOE) or a microlens array (microlens). The diffusion part is used for providing uniform light. The guiding portion can be a Diffractive Optical Element (DOE), at least one lens, a micro lens array or a micro prism (microprism). The guide part is used for providing at least one indication mark.
In summary, the present invention provides an illumination device including a single light source device for providing uniform light having at least one indicator mark. The present invention does not require two separate optical devices, one to provide uniform light and one to provide at least one indicator mark.

Claims (10)

1. An illumination device, comprising:
a light source for emitting light; and
an optical device for providing a uniform light having at least one indicator mark after receiving the light, wherein the optical device comprises:
a diffusion part for providing the uniform light; and
a guiding part for providing the at least one indication mark.
2. The illumination device of claim 1, further comprising:
and the collimating mirror is arranged between the light source and the optical device and is used for condensing light.
3. The illumination device of claim 1, wherein the light source is a light emitting diode, a vertical cavity surface emitting laser, or a laser diode.
4. The illumination device according to claim 1, wherein the diffusion portion has a primary wavelength structure.

9. The illumination device of claim 1, wherein the guiding portion is at least one lens or a micro-lens array.
10. The illumination device of claim 1, wherein the diffuser is a microprism.
