Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of display application, and particularly relates to a brightness control system and a brightness control method for an OLED organic panel.
Background
The OLED is known as an Organic Light-Emitting Diode (Organic Light-Emitting Diode). The OLED organic panel is made of organic materials such as Alq and Balq, and a pixel point is formed by vertically arranging four colors of red, green, blue and White (WRGB), so that the OLED organic panel has the advantages of accurate color reduction, high production efficiency, high yield, capability of placing more pixel points in a unit area, no need of using a metal mask, contribution to the production of large-size OLED panels and the like.
The prior art external end to panel signal displays a television picture and the information flow is shown in fig. 1, which is depicted in 6 steps: the power access-reset switching-panel setting initial value-transmitting image data-external instruction leading-in transmitting video data-instructing display to start receiving, and these data streams transmit signals to the corresponding ports of the signal controller according to the schedule under the guidance of the working instruction. After the controller module receives the data, the inside of the IC performs initialization processing, the register and the frame memory start to store data, the boost circuit starts to work and simultaneously starts to supply voltage to the liquid crystal to drive the source-gate circuit of the matrix, etc., at this time, the liquid crystal panel marks that the work of displaying the image is started, the ROM memory inside the controller module "burns" the content of the voltage setting, the gray coefficient setting, etc. for the liquid crystal in the display in advance, the panel detects the ambient light brightness through the light sensor, after the system reads the brightness value, the control of the backlight brightness is performed, that is, the brightness of the display device is adjusted by the display gray scale, and the backlight control is mainly realized by the following 3 points: (1) the controller module analyzes the input television signal and confirms the brightness information of the image data; (2) the controller module confirms the orientation of the corresponding brightness data and generates the operation data of the corresponding brightness; (3) and moving and conveying the operation data corresponding to the brightness to the corresponding direction, controlling the backlight source to emit light according to the determined brightness, and realizing brightness and gray level adjustment control by adopting a PWM (pulse width modulation) technology. The total power consumption of the liquid crystal panel is mostly derived from the electric power consumed by the backlight (high power means high luminance), and thus the luminance control of the liquid crystal panel is very important. In the system of the OLED display screen in the prior art, the following technical defects exist: the brightness control can be performed only by using the self-stored content of the organic panel, the display brightness cannot be dynamically adjusted according to the environment, and the power consumption of the liquid crystal panel is large.
How to adjust the brightness of the display screen according to the dynamic change and automatic response of the ambient light and how to reduce the power consumption of the panel become problems which need to be solved urgently.
