Detailed Description
(embodiment mode)
Hereinafter, an embodiment of a beauty appliance embodying the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
The cosmetic device of the present embodiment can be implemented in various types of cosmetic devices. For example, the beauty appliance shown in fig. 1 includes: a handle 1 of a flat shape; and a pair of hollow rotating bodies 12 rotatably supported by a part of the outer peripheral portion of the handle 1. Further, by rotating the rotary body 12 while pressing the body surface part with the rotary body 12 while holding the handle 1, the body surface part can be massaged by the rotary body 12 for the beauty treatment. In addition, the outer peripheral edge 111 of the handle 1 can perform a scraping massage on the body surface.
The beauty appliance shown in fig. 2 includes: a handle 11; and a pair of hollow rotating bodies 12 rotatably supported at the distal end portions of the handles 11. By holding the handle 11 and rotating the rotary body 12 while pressing the body surface part with the rotary body 12 as in the beauty treatment instrument of fig. 1, the body surface part can be massaged with the rotary body 12 for the beauty treatment.
As shown in fig. 1, 2, and 5, a geometric pattern (a grid pattern shown in fig. 1 and 2) including ridges 121 having a large angle and an obtuse angle in cross section is formed on the surface of the rotating body 12. The handle 11 of the beauty appliance shown in fig. 2 is provided with a solar cell panel 23, positive and negative currents generated by the solar cell panel 23 are supplied to a decorative layer 25 having conductivity, described later, of the two rotating bodies 12, and when massaging a body surface portion, a circuit for beauty treatment is formed in the body between the two rotating bodies 12 by the two rotating bodies 12.
The plating layers 15 of the handles 1 and 11 are chromium (Cr) plating layers, and chromium is formed by film formation by a wet plating method (wet process). Therefore, the plating layer 15 exhibits a silvery-white luster. Here, the wet plating is so-called wet plating such as electrolytic plating or electroless plating, and refers to a plating layer formed by forming a film of metal molecules dissolved in a solution in a liquid phase.
Next, the plating layer 16 of the rotating body 12 will be described in detail.
As shown in fig. 3, the plating layer 16 is formed by laminating a base layer 17 and a decorative layer 25 in this order from the base material 14 side of the rotary body 12. The underlayer 17 has a surface layer portion made of a chromium thin film and is formed by a wet plating method. Thus, the bottom layer 17 constitutes a wet plating layer. In addition, in the present embodiment, the base material 14 is considered to include the bottom layer 17.
As shown in fig. 4, the decorative layer 25 is formed by laminating the interlayer 19, the colored layer 20, and the protective layer 21 in this order from the base 14 side.
The interlayer 19 is made of a titanium nitride (TiN) thin film and formed by a dry plating method (dry process). The colored layer 20 is formed of an alloy thin film of copper (Cu) and gold (Au) by a dry plating method. The protective layer 21 is formed of a titanium nitride film by a dry plating method. The decorative layer 25 thus constitutes a dry coating. The interlayer 19, the colored layer 20, and the protective layer 21 of the decorative layer 25 are formed by, for example, sputtering deposition in a low-temperature atmosphere at a temperature of less than 100 ℃. Here, dry plating is so-called dry plating, and refers to a plating layer formed by forming evaporated or sublimated metal molecules in a vapor phase by Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD), or the like.
The interlayer 19 serves to ensure the integrity of the base layer 17 with the coloured layer 20. That is, since the adhesion between the chromium of the base layer 17 and the gold/copper alloy of the colored layer 20 is poor, the titanium nitride of the interlayer 19 is interposed between the two layers 17 and 20 in order to ensure the integrity of the two layers 17 and 20. The interlayer 19 is not limited to titanium nitride, and any interlayer may be used as long as it can ensure the integrity of the underlayer 17 and the colored layer 20, and for example, titanium carbide (TiC), zirconium nitride (ZrN), zirconium carbide (ZrC), Indium Tin Oxide (ITO), or the like can be used.
The mixing ratio of copper and gold in the colored layer 20 is 85 wt% of copper and 15 wt% of gold in terms of weight fraction. The colored layer 20 of this mixing ratio exhibits a light pink color. When the mixing ratio of copper is large, the degree of red color becomes strong, and when the mixing ratio of gold is large, yellow color is developed.
The protective layer 21 is a thin film of titanium nitride having a thickness in the range of 0.005 to 0.5 μm, preferably 0.05. mu.m. Therefore, the protective layer 21 is formed as a transparent film having high hardness and abrasion resistance, and protects the colored layer 20 made of gold/copper alloy, which has low hardness and is easily damaged. Here, the term "transparent" means a state in which light is transmitted, and includes not only colorless transparency but also colored translucency, opaqueness, or hazy translucency, and even opaque opaqueness, but also a state in which light is transmitted. The protective layer 21 is not limited to titanium nitride, and may be formed by, for example, titanium carbide, zirconium nitride, zirconium carbide, indium tin oxide, or the like as in the interlayer 19, as long as the colored layer 20 is protected.
As described above, the decorative layer 25 is formed by laminating metal thin films, and thus has conductivity. The decorative layer 25 is formed continuously on the outer surface and the inner surface of the rotating body 12, and in the beauty treatment device shown in fig. 2, the solar cell panel 23 is electrically connected to the decorative layer 25 on the inner surface of the rotating body 12. Therefore, the inner and outer decorative layers 25 of the rotating body 12 are electrically connected to each other, and the decorative layer 25 on the outer surface side constitutes an electrode for supplying electricity to the body surface portion. Therefore, the micro current generated by the solar cell panel 23 can be supplied to the body surface part, and a cosmetic effect using the micro current can be obtained.
In the present embodiment, the following effects can be obtained.
The rotary body 12 is provided with a metallic luster having a pale pink hue by the coloring layer 20, and therefore can obtain a high decorative effect as compared with a conventional silvery white cosmetic device. In addition, by appropriately setting the mixing ratio of copper and gold of the colored layer 20, the color tone of the color can be changed.
In addition, in the present embodiment, the following effects are exhibited.
(1) By the colored layer 20 of a light pink color, a beauty appliance having a novel and luxurious color decoration unlike a silver white color can be obtained, and a high decorative effect can be obtained.
(2) Since the coloring layer 20 of a soft gold/copper alloy is covered and protected by the protective layer 21 made of titanium nitride, the decorative effect by coloring can be maintained for a long time.
(3) Since the protective layer 21 has a thickness in the range of 0.005 to 0.5 μm, the colored layer 20 can be appropriately protected while maintaining the decorative effect. That is, since the thickness of the protective layer 21 is in the range of 0.005 to 0.5 μm, the colored layer 20 can be effectively protected, and the protective layer 21 which does not deteriorate the color tone of the colored layer 20 can be formed. When the protective layer 21 is too thick, the sense of transparency is deteriorated, not only the decorative effect is reduced, but also when stress is concentrated at the portion of the ridgeline 121 of the rotating body 12 shown in fig. 5, cracks are formed in the protective layer 21 because the protective layer 21 has high hardness. Further, the decorative effect is further reduced by the cracks, and in some cases, there is a problem that water or air enters from the cracks to the colored layer 20 side. As described above, when water or air enters the colored layer 20 side, the colored layer 20 in the entering portion is discolored by oxidation or the like, and the decorative effect is greatly reduced. Further, when the protective layer 21 is too thin, the strength of the protective layer 21 is lowered, and therefore, cracks are generated in portions of the protective layer 21 other than the ridge line 121, which may deteriorate the decorative effect as described above. In the present embodiment, such a problem can be effectively avoided.
(4) Since the soft colored layer 20 is interposed between the hard interlayer 19 and the similarly hard protective layer 21, the colored layer 20 provides a cushioning effect to the interlayer 19 and the protective layer 21. Therefore, the occurrence of cracks in the interlayer 19 and the protective layer 21 can be appropriately avoided, so that the decorative effect can be prevented from being damaged as described above.
(5) Since the interlayer 19, the colored layer 20, and the protective layer 21 are sputter-deposited in a low-temperature atmosphere of less than 100 degrees celsius, even if the base material 14 is made of a synthetic resin such as an ABS resin having low heat resistance, the base material 14 can be prevented from being deteriorated or deformed, and the appearance quality, the rotational function of the rotary body 12, or the strength can be prevented from being lowered.
(6) Since titanium nitride is provided on both the interlayer 19 and the protective layer 21, the film formation operation is easy. That is, for example, in sputtering deposition, titanium nitride, which is a metal of the same material, is a target provided in a sputtering chamber for film formation. Therefore, sputtering for forming the interlayer 19 and the protective layer 21 can be performed in the same chamber. That is, the interlayer 19 and the protective layer 21 are formed by metal plating of the same material, and thus film formation work by sputtering or the like can be easily performed.
(7) Since the interlayer 19, the colored layer 20, and the protective layer 21 constituting the decorative layer 25 are each formed of a thin film of a conductive metal such as titanium nitride, the decorative layer 25 can be an electrode for supplying a minute current to the body surface portion, and a high cosmetic effect can be obtained.
(8) Since the interlayer 19, the colored layer 20, and the protective layer 21 are formed by metal vapor deposition, a cosmetic device having high surface flatness, high hardness, clear gloss, and high decorative effect can be obtained.
(modification example)
The present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be embodied as follows.
On the surface of the protective layer 21, a protective layer based on a UV coating is further provided. This can suppress oxidative discoloration, damage, or the like of the protective layer 21 and the colored layer 20, and can further improve the transparency and the gloss, thereby improving the decorative effect.
The protective layer 21 is omitted, and a UV coating is provided instead of the protective layer 21.
Other types of metal plating layers are used as the colored layers 20. For example, the thick titanium nitride film becomes gold.
The interlayer 19 and the protective layer 21 can be changed to another metal different from the embodiment. For example, zirconium nitride (ZrN), zirconium nitride (ZrNe), titanium oxide (TiOx), or the like is used.
By changing the mixing ratio of copper and gold of the colored layer 20 stepwise or continuously, it is possible to form two colors, three colors, a gradation color, or the like in the coloring for decoration of the rotating body 12.
The colored plating layer of the structure of the embodiment is formed by coating the handles 1 and 11 of the cosmetic device of the embodiment, or the colored plating layer of the structure of the embodiment is applied to both the handles 1 and 11 and the rotary body 12.
The coloring plating of the structure of the embodiment is applied to other types of beauty treatment apparatuses than the beauty treatment apparatus of the embodiment, for example, a beauty solution container.
In the beauty treatment apparatus shown in fig. 2, the solar cell panel 23 is omitted.
In the above embodiment, the plating layers 15 of the handles 1 and 11 are formed by a wet plating method, but the plating layers 15 are formed by a dry plating method instead of the wet plating method.
In the above embodiment, the interlayer 19, the colored layer 20, and the protective layer 21 constituting the decorative layer 25 are formed by a dry plating method, but the respective layers 19, 20, and 21 are formed by a wet plating method.
A low-frequency current generating mechanism of, for example, about 20Hz (hertz) using a built-in battery as a power source is provided inside the beauty appliance, and an output terminal of the mechanism is connected to the decorative layer 25 having conductivity on the surface of the rotary body 12. With this configuration, the cosmetic device according to the embodiment can be used as EMS (electrical muscle Stimulation) for applying Stimulation to muscles.
(other technical ideas)
The technical idea that can be grasped from the above-described embodiments and modifications is as follows.
(A) A surface treatment method for a cosmetic device described in claim 1, wherein the coloring layer, the interlayer and the protective layer are formed by vapor deposition in an atmosphere of less than 100 ℃.
