Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an application scenario in an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 101, in a scenario in which the embodiment of the present invention is applicable, a terminal 101 interacts with a satellite 102, and the terminal 101 interacts with a server 103, specifically, the satellite continuously transmits location information of the terminal 101 to the terminal, and the terminal 101 reports the received location information to the server 103 corresponding to an application in the terminal 101 to provide the location information to the server.
The terminal 101 and the satellite 102 can communicate with each other by radio waves, and the terminal 101 and the server 103 can communicate with each other by a network.
The terminal may be understood as any electronic device configured with a processor, a memory, and a GPS chip, and may be, for example: cell-phone, panel computer, computer and so on.
A server is understood to be any electronic device, or collection of electronic devices, configured with a processor and memory.
A satellite may be understood as a device that provides positioning information.
The main body implementing the method according to the invention may be referred to as terminal 101 above.
Fig. 2 is a schematic flow chart of a method for reporting location information according to an embodiment of the present invention, and as shown in fig. 2, the method for reporting location information according to the present invention is applied to a terminal, and includes steps S11-S12, which are as follows:
s11: and if the request of the cumulative locking reporting mode of the position information is detected, detecting whether a GPS chip of the terminal supports the locking reporting mode.
The position information may be understood as information that the positioning satellites acquire and transmit to the terminal about the position of the terminal at various times.
The accumulative reporting mode of batch can be understood as a reporting mode of accumulating the position information of the terminal and reporting the accumulated position information to the application after the accumulated position information reaches a certain amount. The number of position information accumulations can be set according to specific situations.
The embodiment of the invention discovers that the GPS chip of the terminal is required to report the position information to the application under the scene that the application needs to use the position information of the terminal. However, developers and users of the application often set the reporting mode of the position information of the GPS chip of the terminal to the locking reporting mode without knowing the hardware configuration of the terminal, and when the GPS chip of the terminal does not support the locking reporting mode, the application cannot obtain the position information of the terminal, thereby causing failure of the positioning service.
In practical application, when an application needs to use the location information of the terminal, and a user or the application sets a reporting mode of reporting the location information through the locking, the GPS chip of the terminal does not directly report the location information through the locking, but first detects whether the GPS chip of the terminal supports the locking reporting mode.
S12: and if the GPS chip of the terminal does not support the locking reporting mode, controlling the GPS chip of the terminal to report the position information of the terminal in real time.
The GPS chip can be understood as a chip set including an RF video chip, a baseband chip, and an unprocessed chip, and has a function of receiving position information transmitted by a satellite and reporting the position information to one or more applications in a terminal, and only a terminal provided with the GPS chip can provide a positioning service. In addition, the terminals related to the invention all comprise a GPS chip.
In practical application, the GPS chip may report the location information to an application for local processing, or report the location information to a server corresponding to the application. Specifically, the application may be understood as application software that is installed on the terminal and provides a location service. For example: map applications, take-away applications, etc.
The real-time reporting can be understood as that once the GPS chip of the terminal receives the position information of the terminal sent by the satellite, the position information is reported immediately.
In practical application, when it is detected that the GPS chip of the terminal does not support the locking reporting mode, even if the application or the user sets the locking reporting mode to report the location information, the locking reporting mode is directly switched to the Tracking reporting mode, and the location information is reported to the server corresponding to the application in real time, so as to avoid the situation that the location service fails because the application cannot acquire the location information.
In another embodiment, when the application or the user does not set a specific location information reporting mode and thus does not send a batch reporting mode request or a Tracking reporting mode request, it may also be detected whether the GPS chip of the terminal supports the batch reporting mode. If the GPS chip of the terminal does not support the locking reporting mode, reporting the position information by using a Tracking reporting mode; and if the GPS chip of the terminal supports the batch reporting mode, reporting the position information by using the batch reporting mode.
According to the position information reporting method provided by the embodiment, when a batch reporting mode request is received, whether a chip of the terminal supports the batch reporting mode is detected, and if the chip of the terminal does not support the batch reporting mode, the position information is reported in real time, so that failure in reporting the position information caused by non-support of the chip is avoided.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart illustrating another method for reporting location information according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 3, the method for reporting location information includes:
s21: and if the request of the cumulative locking reporting mode of the position information is detected, detecting whether a GPS chip of the terminal supports the locking reporting mode.
S22: and if the GPS chip of the terminal does not support the locking reporting mode, reporting the position information of the terminal to the application in real time.
The technical terms, technical effects, technical features, and alternative embodiments of steps S21 through S22 can be understood with reference to steps S11 through S12 shown in fig. 1, and repeated contents will not be described herein.
S23: and if the GPS chip of the terminal supports the batch reporting mode, storing the position information of the terminal.
S24: and if the storage amount of the position information of the terminal reaches a preset amount, controlling a GPS chip of the terminal to report the position information of the terminal.
In practical application, if it is detected that the GPS chip supports the batch reporting mode, the batch reporting mode is preferentially used to report the position information. Specifically, the locking reporting mode is to store the position information received by the GPS chip first, and report the position information when the storage capacity reaches a preset value.
The preset quantity can be set by a GPS chip manufacturer or can be specifically set according to actual conditions.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating a step S21 according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 4, in one implementation step, step S21 may include:
s211: and storing the model of the GPS chip supporting the batch reporting mode into a database.
The database may be understood as a library for storing data in the terminal, and the database related to the present invention may be a certain file or folder on the terminal. The chip model stored in the database can be updated regularly to prevent the new GPS chip model from being unidentified.
For example, the model of the GPS chip supporting the batch reporting mode may be sorted according to the existing data, and after the model of the GPS chip supporting the batch reporting mode is determined, the model information of the GPS chip supporting the batch reporting mode may be stored in a GPS _ batch available file so as to be conveniently used for matching with the model of the GPS chip connected to the terminal.
S212: and if the model of the GPS chip of the terminal is detected to exist in the database, determining that the GPS chip of the terminal supports a batch reporting mode.
For example, when the terminal is powered on or a position information acquisition request is provided by an application, the model of the GPS chip of the terminal may be matched with the model of the GPS chip stored in the GPS _ holding available file in a manner of hw _ getmodule _ id, and when the same model as the GPS chip of the terminal appears in the GPS _ holding available file, it is determined that the GPS chip of the terminal supports a holding reporting manner.
Fig. 5 is a flowchart illustrating a step S24 according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 5, in one implementation step, step S24 may include:
s241: and if the memory space of the position information of the terminal reaches the preset amount, awakening a processor of the terminal.
S242: and controlling a GPS chip of the terminal to report the position information through the processor.
The processor is used for running an operating system, a user interface and an application of the terminal.
In practical application, the terminal processor can keep the GPS chip working at any time when in dormancy by a batch reporting mode, and the processor of the terminal can be awakened and the position information can be reported after most of the position information is collected in a certain amount.
For example, when a user does not use the terminal but still needs to acquire the location information of the terminal, if a Tracking reporting mode is adopted, once the location information is received and reported immediately, the processor needs to keep a running state all the time, so that the power consumption of the terminal is increased; if a batch reporting mode is adopted, the processor of the terminal is awakened and the position information is reported after a certain amount of position information is collected, the processor can enter a dormant state in the process of collecting the position information, the running time of the processor is reduced, and the energy consumption of the terminal is reduced.
In the method for reporting location information provided in this embodiment, whether the GPS chip of the terminal supports the batch reporting mode is determined by matching the model of the GPS chip of the terminal with the model of the GPS chip supporting the batch reporting mode stored in the database. And if the chip of the terminal supports a locking reporting mode, storing the position information of the terminal received by the GPS chip and counting the storage capacity, and when the storage capacity reaches a preset value, waking up a processor of the terminal and sending the stored position information of all the terminals to an application through the processor. The method gives higher priority to the batch reporting mode, and the processor is awakened only after a sufficient amount of position information is accumulated through the batch reporting mode, so that the energy consumption of the positioning service is reduced, the electric quantity of the terminal is saved, and the standby time of the terminal is delayed on the premise of ensuring that the positioning service fails.
Fig. 6 is a flowchart illustrating another method for reporting location information according to an embodiment of the present invention.
Referring to fig. 6, on the basis of fig. 2, the method for reporting location information further includes:
s25: and if the real-time Tracking reporting mode request of the position information is detected, controlling a GPS chip of the terminal to report the position information of the terminal in real time.
In practical application, if a user or an application can directly set a Tracking reporting mode request, a GPS chip of a terminal does not need to be detected, and position information is directly reported to the application in real time through the Tracking reporting mode.
For example, in a use scenario of car navigation software, a vehicle such as an automobile is usually navigated, and since the automobile is always in a high-speed moving transition state in a navigation process, position information of a terminal is drastically changed in a short time. At this time, the user or the application can set the position information reporting mode to a Tracking reporting mode to acquire the position information of the terminal in real time, so that the navigation precision is improved.
According to the position information reporting method provided by the embodiment, when the Tracking reporting mode request is detected, no matter whether the GPS chip of the terminal supports the locking reporting mode or not, the Tracking reporting mode is directly adopted to report the position information of the terminal in real time, so that the positioning precision is improved on the premise of avoiding the positioning service failure.
