Description

Method and device for accessing IPTV service of network protocol television
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of communication, in particular to a method and a device for accessing an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service.
Background
An Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) service refers to a service in which an IPTV platform provides a terminal with an audiovisual program through a virtual private network. The terminal may be a television or a handheld electronic device, etc. Generally, a terminal can access an IPTV service through a gateway. For example, in a conventional routing mode, an IPTV terminal (e.g., a terminal having a right to access an IPTV platform, such as an IPTV set-top box) is connected to the gateway through a Local Area Network (LAN) port dedicated to an IPTV service, so as to access the IPTV service provided by the IPTV platform. A non-IPTV terminal (e.g., a personal computer or other terminal having no authority to access the IPTV platform) is connected to the gateway through a LAN port dedicated to the non-IPTV service, so as to access the non-IPTV service. In the conventional technology, different terminals can be connected with different LAN ports on a gateway, and different services are accessed through the gateway, so that the purpose of preventing non-IPTV terminals from accessing IPTV services is achieved. However, in the full routing mode, the gateway does not divide ports for the service types, and both the IPTV terminal and the non-IPTV terminal can access the IPTV service through the LAN port, so that there may be a malicious access request and a malicious attack generated by the non-IPTV terminal on the IPTV service, thereby reducing the security of the IPTV service. Therefore, how to prevent the non-IPTV terminal from accessing the IPTV service to improve the security of the IPTV service is an urgent technical problem to be solved.

The revenue of the IPTV operator mainly comes from the charging income of the legal terminal, and if an illegal terminal accesses the network resource provided by the IPTV operator, not only the illegal terminal occupies the limited network bandwidth, but also the income of the IPTV operator is lost. In order to prevent an illegal terminal from accessing the IPTV platform to obtain network resources provided by an IPTV operator, the IPTV platform generally needs to verify whether the terminal applying for accessing the IPTV platform has an access right. The terminal with the access right to the IPTV platform is a legal terminal, and the terminal without the access right is an illegal terminal.
However, if the terminal continuously issues an access application to the IPTV platform for an attack purpose, the IPTV platform needs to continuously allocate resources to verify the authority of the terminal. Therefore, the resources of the IPTV platform are occupied by the malicious attacker for a long time, and even the IPTV platform is paralyzed.
In view of the above problems, embodiments of the present invention provide an IPTV service access system architecture, where an authorization verification link for a terminal is placed on a gateway near a user side for execution, so that an access request of the terminal can complete verification of the authorization of the terminal without reaching an IPTV platform, thereby effectively improving security of the IPTV service.
Exemplarily, fig. 1 shows a schematic structural diagram of an IPTV service access system architecture 10. The system comprises: at least one terminal 11, a gateway 12, a terminal management system 13 and an IPTV platform 14.
The terminal 11 communicates with the user-side gateway 12 in a wired or wireless manner. The terminal 11 and the gateway 12 may be connected to each other through another network device such as a router. The gateway 12 communicates with the terminal management system 13 by means of wired connection, and the gateway 12 and the terminal management system may also be integrated on one network device. The IPTV platform is connected with the gateway through the Internet. The terminal management system can be in the same local area network with the IPTV platform and interconnected through the local area network, and can also be in different local area networks and interconnected through the Internet.
The terminal 11 may be a legal terminal, such as an IPTV set-top box and other terminals having a function of processing an IPTV service. The terminal 11 may also be an illegal terminal. If the terminal 11 is an illegal terminal, the access request of the terminal 11 to the IPTV platform is not forwarded by the gateway 12. The IPTV of the invention is a network protocol television. It should be noted that, in the present invention, IPTV may also refer to a network television, an interactive television or an internet interactive television, that is, a television or a terminal capable of accessing a network resource provided by a network platform all belong to the scope of IPTV in the present invention.
The gateway 12 may be a home gateway of a user or a gateway for connecting a local area network where the terminal is located with the internet;
the terminal management system 13 stores terminal identification information of all legal terminals, and is used for judging whether the terminal is a legal terminal; the terminal management system 13 may be a server, or may be a specific functional module on the server.
The IPTV platform 14 is a provider of an IPTV service, configured to provide various network resources accessible by the terminal, and is located in a network on the IPTV operator side. In some embodiments, the IPTV platform 14 is also configured to store information associated with the terminal (e.g., an identification of the terminal). In the case of a new user, the IPTV platform 14 records and stores information of the terminal of the user for the terminal management system to obtain. For example, the IPTV platform 14 may send the information of the newly added terminal to the terminal management system after each new piece of information of the terminal is added, or the terminal management system may periodically send a request to the IPTV platform 14 to request the IPTV platform 14 to feed back the stored information of all terminals.
Alternatively, the IPTV platform 14 may be a system that is supported by one server to operate. The IPTV platform 14 includes a plurality of logical function modules, each for performing a different function. Each logical function module may be referred to as a business system. For example, the IPTV platform 14 may include a service resource system and a service acceptance system. The service resource system is used for providing various network resources which can be accessed by the terminal. The service acceptance system is used for storing information related to the terminal.
Alternatively, the IPTV platform 14 may be a system that is supported by a plurality of servers to operate. Each server is used to perform a different function. The IPTV platform 14 may include a server supporting a service resource system and a server supporting a service acceptance system. The service resource system is used for providing various network resources which can be accessed by the terminal. The service acceptance system is used for storing information related to the terminal.
Optionally, when the service resource system and the service acceptance system are deployed on different servers, the IPTV platform 14 may be a system including a server supporting the service resource system, and the server supporting the service acceptance system may not belong to the IPTV platform 14.
It is to be understood that the schematic structure in the embodiment of the present application does not form a specific limitation to the IPTV service access system 10. In other embodiments of the present application, the IPTV service access system may include more or fewer components than those shown, or some components may be combined, some components may be split, or a different arrangement of components may be used. The illustrated components may be implemented in hardware, software, or a combination of software and hardware.
For an IPTV service access system architecture shown in fig. 1, an embodiment of the present invention provides a first method for accessing an IPTV service, where a first terminal accesses the IPTV service, and the first terminal may be an IPTV set-top box. As shown in fig. 2, the method includes S201-S204:
s201, the first terminal sends a first access request to the gateway.
In some embodiments, the first access request is for the first terminal to request access to an IPTV service provided by an IPTV platform. When a terminal needs to access an IPTV platform to acquire an IPTV service provided by the IPTV platform, an access request is sent to the IPTV platform. The first access request records a network address of the IPTV platform. The IPTV service includes, but is not limited to, various audio and video resources.
In order to enable the gateway to determine whether the first terminal is a legal terminal, the first access request further includes a first identifier of the first terminal, where the first identifier is used to indicate the first terminal. For example, the first identifier may be a media access control address (MAC) or an International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) of the first terminal, and the like, and may uniquely identify the identifier of the first terminal.
S202, the gateway receives a first access request from the first terminal.
The first access request is used for the first terminal to access the IPTV service provided by the IPTV platform. For the explanation of the first access request, reference may be made to the above description of S201, and no further description is given.
S203, the gateway determines the first terminal to be a legal terminal according to the first identifier.
In order to prevent an illegal terminal from accessing the IPTV platform, the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention authenticates the terminal at the gateway, the terminal with the authority to access the IPTV platform is a legal terminal, the terminal without the authority to access the IPTV platform is an illegal terminal, and then the gateway only forwards an access request initiated by the legal terminal to the IPTV platform.
S204, the gateway forwards the first access request to the IPTV platform.
In some embodiments, since the connection between the terminal and the IPTV platform is not directly established, the first access request cannot directly reach the IPTV platform, and the gateway is required to forward the first access request to the IPTV platform. After determining that the first terminal is a legal terminal, the gateway analyzes a data packet of a first access request of the first terminal, performs addressing according to an address of the IPTV platform recorded in the data packet and determines a forwarding path, and sends the first access request to the IPTV platform through the forwarding path.
As shown in fig. 3, in an implementation manner provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the gateway determines, according to the first identifier, that the first terminal is a legal terminal, and specifically includes steps S2031 to S2033:
s2031, the gateway judges whether the N identifiers cover the first identifier.
The gateway judges whether the first identifier of the first terminal exists in the N identifiers.
If the N identifiers cover the first identifier, executing S2032; if the N identifiers do not cover the first identifier, S2033 is performed.
Wherein N is an integer of 1 or more. The N identifiers are identifiers of terminals successfully registered in the terminal management system, and are acquired from the terminal management system by the gateway in advance. The gateway refers to the explanation of S405, specifically how to obtain N identifiers.
S2032, the gateway determines that the first terminal is a legal terminal.
The N identifiers include a first identifier, and the first identifier may be a feedback of the first terminal to the gateway after the first terminal successfully registers in the terminal management system. Specifically, reference may be made to the following descriptions of S401 to S405.
S2033, the gateway determines that the first terminal is an illegal terminal.
The N identifications do not include the first identification, and the first terminal is indicated to be an illegal terminal. In some embodiments, the first terminal may not register successfully when registering with the terminal management system, or the first terminal may not register with the terminal management system, and therefore the N identities of the gateway do not include the first identity.
In an implementation manner of the embodiment of the present invention, the gateway may further configure a filtering policy according to the received N identifiers. The filtering strategy is recorded with N identifications, terminals except the legal terminals corresponding to the N identifications are all determined as illegal terminals by the filtering strategy, and then the gateway does not forward the access request initiated by the illegal terminals.
In other embodiments, in order to prevent the gateway from being continuously attacked by the illegal terminal, within a first time period after the first terminal is determined to be the illegal terminal, if the first access request sent by the first terminal is received again, the request is directly discarded without being processed. Wherein the first time length can be set according to actual conditions.
The embodiment of the invention provides a method for accessing IPTV service of a network protocol television, wherein a gateway distinguishes a legal terminal and an illegal terminal according to identification information of the terminals, and then only forwards an access request of the legal terminal. Therefore, the access request of the illegal terminal cannot reach the IPTV platform, and the malicious attack of the illegal terminal on the IPTV platform is avoided, so that the safety of the IPTV service is effectively improved.
For the IPTV service access system shown in fig. 1, as shown in fig. 4, the method further includes S401-S405:
s401, the first terminal sends a first registration request to the gateway.
Before sending the first access request, the terminal needs to register with the terminal management system. In the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, the first terminal registers with the terminal management system so that the terminal management system judges whether the first terminal is a legal terminal. If the first terminal is a legal terminal, the terminal management system can conveniently feed back the identifier of the first terminal to the gateway, and the gateway forwards the access request of the first terminal according to the first identifier. Since the first terminal belongs to the network device on the user side and the terminal management system belongs to the network device on the network side, the first registration request needs to be sent to the gateway first.
Wherein the first registration request includes a first identification.
S402, the gateway forwards the first registration request to the terminal management system.
And after receiving the first registration request, the gateway forwards the first registration request to a terminal management system.
S403, the terminal management system receives a first registration request from the gateway.
S404, the terminal management system determines that the first terminal is a legal terminal according to the first identifier.
S405, the terminal management system sends a first registration response to the gateway.
The first registration response is used for indicating the first terminal to the gateway as a legal terminal. The first registration response comprises a first identifier, so that the gateway determines whether the first terminal is a legal terminal or not according to the first identifier acquired from the terminal management system after receiving the first access request.
In some embodiments, when a terminal registers with the terminal management system, if the terminal is a legal terminal, the registration response fed back to the gateway by the terminal management system includes the identifier of the terminal.
In other embodiments, if there are legal terminals in the plurality of terminals when the plurality of terminals register with the terminal management system, the registration response fed back to the gateway by the terminal management system may include the identities of the plurality of terminals.
As shown in fig. 5, the determining, by the terminal management system according to the first identifier, that the first terminal is a legal terminal includes S4041-S4043:
s4041, the terminal management system judges whether the M identifiers cover the first identifier.
If the M identifiers cover the first identifier, executing S4042; if the M flags do not cover the first flag, S4043 is performed. Wherein M is an integer of 1 or more.
The IPTV platform stores the identification of all legal terminals, and when a legal terminal is added, a piece of data of the legal terminal is added in the database of the IPTV platform, wherein the data comprises the identification of the legal terminal. The M identifiers are identifiers of all legal terminals stored in the IPTV platform, and are acquired from the IPTV platform in advance by the terminal management system.
In some embodiments, after the IPTV platform updates the database, the data of the legal terminal may be fed back to the terminal management system, or the IPTV platform periodically feeds back the data of the legal terminal in the database to the terminal management system.
In other embodiments, the terminal management system may periodically send a request message to the IPTV platform to request the IPTV platform to feed back data of a valid terminal.
S4042, the terminal management system determines that the first terminal is a legal terminal.
Understandably, the terminal management system determines that the first terminal is a legal terminal, and indicates that the first terminal is successfully registered.
S4043, the terminal management system determines that the first terminal is an illegal terminal.
In some embodiments, the terminal management system may feed back a response to the first terminal registration failure to the gateway.
The embodiment of the invention provides a method for accessing IPTV service, a terminal management system performs registration authentication on a terminal according to identification information of the terminal, and sends out a first registration response for indicating that a first terminal is a legal terminal after determining that the terminal is the legal terminal. Therefore, the illegal terminal cannot be successfully registered, and further cannot access the IPTV platform, so that the safety of the IPTV service is effectively improved.
